"Catherine?!" Alpha Lake called out the moment he entered Caleb's office.

The tension and worry in his voice were so obvious; his eyes automatically glued to Audrey as he entered the room.

He marched forward and gently held Audrey's supposed injured hand.

"Your hand..." He was stupified for a second.

With everything that had happened that morning, his thoughts were too scattered to remember that his Pack now had a witch healer.

"I healed her, Alpha," Maria said, standing closer to her mate.

She couldn't still believe that the Alpha would easily let her be with her mate.

"Oh," Alpha Lake replied.

His brain was still finding it hard to process the whole situation.

"You're... Alright?" He used his other hand to run through Audrey's smooth hand before he came to realize that she had truly been healed.

He was worried sick for a second.
