Everything went dark, Zenkai and Sin stopped fighting and looked around and couldn't see anything.

"Is this you doing this Zenkai?" Sin asked staying in the air.

"No it isn't" Zenkai replied then started thinking to himself. "Is this Vannox from Taeju?"

Vannox touched Zenkai shoulder consuming him into the darkness and returned his vision.

Zenkai backed up getting ready for a fight but Vannox put his hand out telling him to stop and he isn't here to fight.

"You were gonna lose to him so I had to get you out of there stay here until someone special comes."

"Someone special?" Zenkai replied

Vannox walked around "I marked everywhere I've been to and whenever someone strong crosses it I get a ringing in my head but I can tell this guy is a good guy he's stretching right now and getting ready to run he will be here soon."

As they spoke the man Vannox was talking about came and stood before Sin.

Vannox returned Zenkai and they stood behind the man with a golden dragon on the back of his black kimono and two swords floating behind him.

"This who you were talking about?" Zenkai whispered to Vannox.

"Yup that's him" Vannox replied walking toward the man. The guy turned around looking at Vannox and Zenkai just sensing their presence then looking in Sin's direction and grabbed his sword and flew toward him as he was about to strike a portal opened up and the man went through it appearing through a different one then landing back on the floor.

"Return Vision"

Vannox returned everyone's vision and they saw Sin with his black lightning and a portal in front of him opening up. Kuzan stepped out of it and looked at Anbu and told Sin to retreat.

"Why should I?" Sin replied

"It's too early to lose you who's a major asset for the war you can come back for him another time," Kuzan said as he walked back through the portal, and Sin's lightning went back to normal and he looked Zenkai in the eye than looking at Vannox and Anbu then walking into the portal as it closed.

Anbu turned around and looked at Zenkai and asked if he was Dr. Understands student.

"Yeah, I was who are you though" Zenkai answered.

"Let's just say I'm a friend of his but who's is your friend there" Anbu questioned while looking at Vannox.

Vannox walked up and looked at Anbu who was taller than him so he had to look up.

"My name is Vannox and I would like to train under you as well if you plan on training Zenkai."

Anbu filled his eyes with aura and looked into Vannox and saw a crack in his heart with black markings covering it.

"What's your ability," Anbu asked him.

"I can manipulate the darkness around me but it goes way more into depth with that I just don't feel like explaining it all right now," Vannox said.

"Ok I'll train you, you as well Zenkai"

Zenkai looked confused and spoke, "not unless you tell me who you are and how you know Dr. Understand and what's happening because the fact you show up after time got stopped talking about Dr. Understand that isn't a coincidence so tell me what happened."

"So you weren't affected by that either huh?" Anbu said not shocked he then grabbed a stick and sat down and started drawing on the ground.

"Alright pay attention because I won't repeat myself I'm the number one Ranker. Two years ago I went missing on a deadly mission fighting a demon level threat I couldn't beat him but I was able to seal him but at a cost, I also got sealed I've lost two years of my life I didn't age I couldn't do anything but fast forward two years after the seal Dr. Understand showed up and freed me but he let out the demise of this world we ended up fighting him and we almost won but at the end, I wasn't strong enough and my friend ended up dying and he asked me to take care of his students that's why I am here."

Zenkai closed his eyes taking in the fact Dr. Understand was dead and then let it not affect him as he looked at Vannox.

"So how did you survive Shin's attack during the regions event" Zenkai said.

"How I survived? That's easy but I'm not the only one to survive you should know that."

Zenkai eyes widened thinking more of his friends were alive as he let Vannox continue.
