Haikyuu: Murasakibara?

"How the heck did you grow so tall? What di- Akaashi stop hitting me!"

Aakashi deadpans, "Stop being rude Bokuto-san."

"But he's so tall" Bokuto replies pointing at me.

Pushing his hand down Aakashi replies, "Don't point your finger Bokuto-san"

I sighed 'when did my life come to this'

Waking up with the memories of three different people was brutal- the migraine still persisting lightly. Thankfully he managed to get it mostly in control. There were times he felt conflicting but those times were passing. He had joined the Fukurodani volleyball club on a whim. A part of him knew the sport really well, the other part drew him to the basketball club.

The rational part chose volleyball seeing its popularity. Unfortunately the rational side did not know about the super loud ace. I still can not comprehend how he manages to be so loud consistently. It must be a special technique developed to distract the opponents.

How considerate of Bokuto.

The setter was smart and was able to make the best of Bokuto's capabilities. The practice match had shown how good their synergy was. But now the test was starting.

The firsties vs the senpais.

Onaga, Anahori and Murasakibara vs Aakashi, Bokuto and Washio.

"Isn't this a bit too much?" Washio asked.

"we are just testing them." Aakashi replied.

"This still seems a bit overkill. I mean a top 5 ace with our team's best blocker and setter? The only one who may be able to match us is that 6'4 giant."

"We'll see"

First years vs Main team

0-0

Washio sends a powerful serve at Anahori. The setter fails to bring it up.

"Sorry!"

"It's alright" Onaga.

0-1

Another powerful serve was sent to the corner but Onaga picks it up. Anahori sets to Murasakibara who misses the hit.

"Get the ball as high as you can."

"O-Okay" Anahori replies.

A powerful serve was sent but it goes out.

Murasakibara serves at a tight spot but Bokuto picks it up. Aakashi immediately sets to Bokuto.

He goes for a powerful spike but

"Huh?" Bokuto said, "Where did you come from?"

His spike was completely killed by Atsushi who easily managed to reach from the back line and stop Bokuto.

"That was nasty." Sarukui. "Someone that tall should not be that fast."

Bokuto picked up another serve and immediately went for a spike but Murasakibara was already in front of him. His oppressive aura felt even by Aakashi. He fakes the set to Washio.

Murasakibara immediately snaps to the left and managed to get barely get a soft touch with his long hands.

Onaga manages to get the ball and Anahori sets it to Murasakibara as high as possible.

After a short run up he jumps as high as possible easily spiking it over the blockers hand.

Washio gets the serve and passes it to Aakashi. I immediately run to Bokuto after seeing the set but he gets an extremely good cross shot.

"Hey, Hey Hey!"

"Don't stop now Murasakibara. Show me more." Bokuto stares with an intense look.

"You're annoying. I'll crush you."

Washio serves again but Anahari gets it. Onaga sets it to his best ability. Murasakibara goes to spike but Bokuto jumps to block. Atsushi tries to perform a cross shot but gets blocked.

As time passes the score comes at

14-11

"The first years are about to win. They only need one more point." they whisper.

"Must be because of his height."

"All that hard work useless against that height"

Bokuto serves to Anahori who gets it shakily. Onaga sets high and Murasakibara spikes. The ball passes over the block but Washio gets it. Bokuto goes for another cross shot but-

"I said I'll crush you."

Murasakibara blocks it.

"The victory goes to the first years" the referee announces.

Wonder what Aka-chin is doing. It's boring without the others, atleast that Kagami is not here. Though sharing this body is weird atleast I can guide the others to get some food.

"We need to talk" Atsushi 1 said.(smart one)

"What's wrong? We won right." Atsushi 3 replied.(volleyball one)

"Our movements were rough. The only reason we won were due to 2's reflex. You have good game sense but you take too long. I can read the spikers faster but by that time 2 is already moving and you are not used to this height and almost jumped too early."

"So?" 3 asked.

"Its best if one of us played at a time than all of us." 1 said.

"I'm okay with it" I replied.(no 2 basketball one)

3 yells, "that's cause you're lazy!"

"Can we go now, I want some sweets."

"We can but this conversation is not over. It was okay for the practice match but I would hate to lose in an official one. Isn't that right?" 1 said.

"Yes"

"Of course!" 2 yelled.

"I am glad that we are on the same page."
