Chapter 27- Ha...but it's such hard work to keep a fake expression

By evening the warp gates lit up, and various flying beasts, ranging from horses to other creatures that had wings. They carried with them carriages of various kingdom emblems.

Men and women dressed in lavish clothes and accessories got down from their carriages and were escorted into a mansion.

Inside they passed through a smaller warp gate and appeared in front of the castle. They each had an invitation card which was scanned but the guards were asked to drop any weapons on them before they were allowed to enter.

The small kingdoms had no issue with that but the higher ones frowned but still dropped their weapons knowing it wouldn't do them any good to anger a kingdom known for their brutality in battle.

"Welcome." The Butler with a hands across his back welcomed them in, guiding them towards the ballroom, as they passed through the hallways they saw the past victories and queens statues.
