Chapter 9 Awakened

I let out an animalistic roar. It sounded as if a dragon descended upon the mortal world as the walls started to tremble from the sound waves my blood eyes opening. As my vision returned, I was covered in violent blue flames, a demonic chuckle escaping my lips. This is going to be fun!

The shackles on my body started to melt my body started to coat itself in draconic scales as 2 horns started to protrude from my forehead. They were not too big only about 2 inches. The blood that was leaking out of me flowed like magma boiling the floor beneath me as the blade completely melted the wound healing. Suzy was covered in sweat but I commanded my flames to trap her not to harm her. I would deal with her after the mystery man.

"Human scum I will end your existence and your bloodline" My voice carried a chill through one's spine. As the words left my mouth eerie laughter started sounding from all directions.

"I want to play with the eyes. I wanna see again." A childish giggle sounded innocent as if their words were not violent. "I want the flesh I'm so hungry" Another voice echoed out with a grumble. "No, we can't eat it! We should wear it. It's so cold here. Maybe it would warm us?"

The voices kept giggling and bantering causing me to growl. "Silence little ones. I will give you his body once I am done." As the words left my lips the whispers of the damned settled down and I launched myself at the man punching him in the chest and caving it in slightly. "Pathetic only able to ambush this royal one."

He started coughing violently his eyes widening. "W-what are you?" He started swinging his fist trying to knock me down.

"I am Keturah, Daughter of Shumdos the primordial and you mortal have awoken your planet's own demise. For that I shall thank you!" With that I made a swift palm strike killing him instantly. The souls chuckled before dragging the corpse into the void. A sigh left my lips. "It is still too early for me to awaken child so for now I shall seal these memories but I will allow you to take your own vengeance and remember that at least." I quickly made some hand seals before a brand appeared and sunk into my brain.

I shook my head as I felt a haze wash over me. I looked around seeing flames everywhere. It looked like the man ran away afraid of me so I turned my way toward Suzy. I licked my lips seeing the steam and sweat coming off her body due to the heat.

"S-stay back Ama I'm warning you!!" Tears started streaming down her cheeks as she wet herself with fear,

I chuckled and grinned as I revealed in the smell. It was not the smell of her urine. No it was a new smell I never smelt before. It was sweet almost palpable. As I thought about what it could be I realized it got sweeter and sweeter as I approached her slowly and I noticed I could hear her heartbeat increasing. "Ah, that is the smell, The smell of fear and despair. It is so tantalizing I want more. Do you think I could taste that sweet sweet fear?"

I grabbed her chin and licked her tears and sweat from her face and then my tongue touched what I thought was white steam that looked like it was attached to her. I felt a jolt of pure pleasure as I let out a soft moan. The steam-like substance tasted sweet like cotton candy and I felt it start to melt so I sucked as hard as I could.

Suzy started screaming in agony her eyes becoming more and more dull as more of the white substance came out. finally once it was all gone her body fell lifeless to the ground.

Baaos pov

I watched as my daughter finally started to awaken some of my bloodline. It seems like I will have to force her into training so she does not lose control of her other self. At least she sealed herself away. Picking up my princess I left the building the town we once lived at covered in the blood and organs of all the inhabitants.

This place deserved what they got for messing with my family. I started making my way towards our house. There were some things I would need to do to my daughter to ensure her training bares proper fruit, and I also need to plan our next course of action.

Once we got home I took out a dagger before I cut my hand covering the blade in my blood. This would hurt Amadea so I was glad she was unconscious. I started carving runes into her flesh and chains to bind everything together. Hours passed and I finally finished. Once the last rune was carved it all sunk deeper into her leaving her jade-like skin flawless. I would not want my baby girl to have scars for life.

With that I went to the kitchen making plans to leave the Zaroth kingdom. She will need to go to a few other continents to learn to control her dragon and demonic powers. For that we should head to the Karian kingdom in the center where all races congregate. Once she hits 16 she can apply to the demon academy and go to her roots or she can wait until 18 and go to the human academy,

Amadea pov

It felt like I slept for days and my whole body ached. My whole body felt sapped of any kind of strength.I slowly sat up before I heard a sweet voice in my head.

That voice it was Suzy? Why does the system have her voice?

I burst into tears. My strength is gone! Who would be so cruel as to curse a sweet girl like me? I completely glossed over everything else more concerned over how I was going to deal with my newfound weakness.

Suddenly the door burst open" Baby are you okay? Why are you crying?" My father's concerned face was right in front of me so I jumped into his arms balling my eyes out.

"Daddy some big bad person cursed me!! My stats are all reduced. If I find out who it is I will beat them up and make them cry!" I kept sobbing into his chest.

He started rubbing my back and comforted me. "It's okay. Maybe there was a good reason. Maybe if you train you can get it back?" Since my face was buried into his chest I did not see his face go pale and filled with panic.

"I guess… I want to train anyways. After this incident I need to gain some strength to defend myself. Can I go into town and buy candy from the old man's stall?'

I noticed my father's face darken before he hurriedly shouted "No no no. You can not. You see umm… The whole town moved. That's right they moved. The beast tide was too strong so we moved all the buildings and town somewhere else. So just get some rest for the night and tomorrow we are going to move as well and travel to start training okay?."

I grumbled but nodded my head. I can get some of it when we meet again. I never had such yummy candy before.
