"It wasn't exactly at the same time. My side is ten minutes later than yours," Kaitlyn explained in a hushed voice.
Yvette quickly surveyed both situations and it was quite evident that there were many more people on the other side compared to Connor's.
"Connor, do you want me to help you?" Yvette asked him with a bright smile.
Upon hearing her words, his eyes flashed with confusion. He softly inquired, "How do you plan to help me?"
"It's simple!" Yvette replied nonchalantly. She then turned to Kaitlyn and said in a low voice, "Kaitlyn, since your ribbon-cutting starts at ten past ten, why don't you stay here with me to help Connor cut the ribbon? After we're done here, you can go over there. The distances are so close, the timing should work out..."
Arthur was taken aback upon hearing Yvette's words, surprised by her unexpected strategy.
"Isn't this a bit inappropriate, Yvette?" Kaitlyn voiced her reservations.
