Genshin Impact Uncanny Obsession

Shameless author doing a shameless review! We are nearing the end of the 2nd volume. And I must say, even though there were some issues that came out, I really enjoyed writing this story. On a serious note, though, don't be afraid to give reviews cuz I won't bite. It doesn't matter to me if it's a good or a bad one. We authors only have this option to see our readers' feedback. Same with comments too. Peace!

I really like this a lot. Overall a great fanfic that you should give a read. There are only a few grammar errors, such as an uncapitalized “i” but it only occurs in one chapter. Also, nice

After reading all available chapter so far, I can say that this FF isn't bad nor good. This is my second big reading of genshin FF ( first is journey through teyvat ). Tbh, VOL 0 or the so-called prolog was tbh very annoying to read and even a waste of time (to me), I can just recall that MC got killed during a big event - > he got along well with girls that's all. Personality wise, MC is unlikable (to me), story is heavily focused on comedy because of it's protagonists and with his light joke (he think it is), for a ex-sage/more than thousands y-old man being so childish is in a way impressive but also annoying to say the least. He is also pretty much sexual harassing most female character ( these so-called girls doesn't rly mind 'cause of protagonists-halo ). Anyways, as you can see I have a very bad opinion of this story MC, not that I'm asking for y'all to be like him, you can all try to read it then you'll understand. One bad point too is, too much character and they're mostly bland with just some very important characters that seems humanlike (a bit?). The plot seems to be a slice of life adding a kindgom building? Idk, not rly sure bout it, it's rly too hard to understand what's the end goal of all this. Another point that I wanted to talk about is, his fate system/gold finger (idk if there is) or smthg like that seemed to be pretty non-existent, it's mentioned only a few times in hundred of chapter. Anyways that's the end of my rambling bout this novel, If you have plenty of time to waste then go on, if not just put away to read it later.

I don't why but this story just feels weird to read, i can't really describe it. The writing quality is good as is the background but it just feels off for some reason.

okay. before the mc that i have no idea come, it's a masterpiece. i really don't understand why you need to change sasayuri into whoever lu chang or whateverhisnameis. since before you decide to put fgo elements into it, it's a perfect genshin impact fanfiction. you tried to mesh FGO and GI which failed miserably, in my opinion. It would be 100 times better if you keep sasayori as the mc and ei as the only lover because they obviously into each other. and the only thing stopping them from being a lover is ei naivety which sasayuri refuse to take advantage of. with that, you can focus the romance on him and ei alone. also, after lu came and become the mc, it's becoming more confusing to read. which somehow make me frustrated for some reason. In conclusion? Sasayuri should stay as sasayuri and FGO shouldn't be put in fanfic at all. but hey! you do you.

the synopsis doesn't match the novel, reading the synopsis it seem like it's about a guy confused on what is going on. I don't even know who the mc was until much later, I was wondering when the mc is gonna show up. The mc already have establish relationships with the character when the fic begin, which is the opposite of what the synopsis suggests.

very well made and i am speaking as someone who has a thing for yanderes but apart from that the story is genuinly good and how you have built a relationship with each of the girls as well as ptovide some backstory to justify ei's obcession apart from that its great how you tie in characters cant wait for him to visit other nations

I am at chaoter 40 atm, while the general flow, grammer, plot, world background and etc is good, for some reason it feels "off" to me when i read this fanfic. Idk, i can't put it into words, but it feels "strange"(??) to read

I feel like the fanfic lost potential when the author changed the mc's personality, he feels like a different person all together,the fate part was unnecessary actually. I was also hoping for a better romance with ei, it was too quick tbh.
