Chapter 4 Genis Scripture. Too dangerous.

The world Genis Scripture was written in bold yellow writing. Upon opening the scripture it's the first thing you will see, even if someone told you about it beforehand, and you tried to not look at it as you open the scripture for the first time, it's still impossible to not look at it, the words are simply mystical, it's like a test of will power.

 At first it will draw your eyes to it no matter what you try to do, then if your will is too weak you will find yourself single handedly staring at the words for a long period of time, fortunately the person who made the Genis scripture is well aware of this as well, so instead of the consequence becoming negative, and stripping the unworthy person's mind from their body, or collapsing their soul sea like in other cultivation novels people read, the person who made this had a different intention.

So instead of anything negative happening, that person will subtly gain a stronger will, until they can look away from the bold yellow words. 

This is exactly what happened to Kaile when he looked at it, hence the reason why his fatigue from sleeping was washed away. 

'How domineering!' Kaile thought to himself as he looked down at the rest of the scripture.

The words on the scripture were written from left to right, like an english textbook, but each line left a profound impact, making it impossible to continue reading the rest of the scripture unless you grasped the first line. 

The feeling's you experience while reading the first line can be summed up like this.

Upon reading the first line, if you do not get it you'll be left with nothing but confusion, but for someone that's able to comprehend it straight away you'll feel a sense of liberation.

The process is like going out to work with no umbrella, the weather forecast said it's going to be sunny but it rains heavier than a fat man's splash into a pool, while going home from work not only are you drenched, unable to see without constantly wiping your face, your clothes are stuck to your body making you feel uncomfortable to the point where standing at a traffic light you feel squeamish, but you're also desperate to go to the toilet as well, your house is only 5 minutes away, but you can only hold it for 1 more minute, so in the end you have to half run, half walk while maintaining a good appearance so people don't look at you strangely. 

When you're at home, you'll be met with two options.

Get undressed, or go to the toilet. 

This feeling right at that moment can be associated with the cusp of enlightenment, is the choice you make at this point which will define your path. 

If you chose to take your clothes off while going to the bathroom, your feeling of enlightenment will be a lot more clear, and when you relieve yourself on the toilet, that's how it would feel when you're finally enlightened and understand the first line. 

If you chose to take your clothes off first, without any intention of going to the bathroom while doing so, you'll feel frustrated the whole time, because as you take off your t-shirt for example, you'll be constantly balancing on one leg, or squeezing your cheeks to try to contain the bomb. 

The whole time you'll feel frustrated, which will mostly likely, unless you're some kind of masochist, lead to the failure to understand the first line of the scripture. 

This is the feeling 99% of the world had upon reading the first line, and Kaile was no different.

 So when he opened his eyes and looked at Sophia, it's no surprise that his following words were…

''This is too dangerous, just reading it's pissing me off! It's definitely not a good thing.'' Kaile said with furrowed brows, while looking into Sophia's eyes that, after hearing and seeing the expression on Kaile's face that went from, annoyance at not been able to find it, then to surprise at finding it, then it went to relaxation, after his fatigue was whipped of, then slowly his face scrunched up, his eyebrows furrowed, and he puffed out air in frustration with his bottom lip been extended, before opening his eyes. Sophia's eyes become one's that are filled with joy and happiness. 

The main reason why Sophia told Kaile to read is because she watched as her mom went through the same thing. Her face changed just like Kaile's face, but because of her maturity she was able to control her facial expressions a bit more. But as everyone should know by now, Sophia's current most enjoyable activity is to tease her brother, so how could she miss an opportunity to see his reaction.

''Pffft. Hahaha'' Sophia couldn't hold in her laughter anymore, her eyes curled up into beautiful crescents as she pointed at Kaile with one hand while holding her stomach with the other, laughing her head off like she just saw the funniest thing in the world.

Kaile was stunned, even he had to admit at this moment, Sophia truly looked beautiful. 

Her bright golden eyes were moist from the laughing, almost making Kaile fall into a trance just looking at them, fortunately he gained immunity to this over the years so he was able to shrug it off, and after doing so the realisation of what just happened struck him like a truck. 

''You! Little! Bi-'' Suddenly Kaile felt a heavy pressure on his shoulders, sweat started to form on his forehead. Sophia stopped laughing abruptly. 

The room was plunged into a sudden silence full of tension, or at least it was from Kaile's perspective, as he could feel two eyes staring at him intently. 

'Damn I forgot mom banned us to swear, especially at each other.

Cough! Kaile faked a cough with one hand before finishing. 

''Girl.'' 

 ''Hahaha.'' Sophia burst out laughing again even hitting the island with one palm.

Honestly this girl gets off too well at Kaile's misfortune.

It's just like those strong vampires in Japanese novels, who get off at teasing their weak human prey, just before trying to kill them. But well… 

Everyone knows how that always turns out. So when Sophia caught a glimpse of Kaile's eyes, and that smirk on the corner of his lips, her laugh got caught up in her throat, causing Kaile's smirk to turn into a wide open smile. 

''All right, that's enough. Since both of you have finished eating its time to get going to school, we can't afford to be late after all, especially since I'm your teacher, they would deduct my pay.'' Emma said, cutting off any more shenanigans the pair might try to make up, honestly if she didn't interrupt them, it's highly likely they would never even make it to school before sun down.

A mistake she's made before in the past. So now she doesn't trust her children to make it to school on their own, which is quite sad considering their big age of 20. 

Kaile gets up and puts his and Emma's dishes in the dishwasher.

''Hey aren't you going to put mine in their two?'' Sophia's indignant voice resounded. 

Kaile didn't reply, after putting the dishes away he left the room and grabbed his coat that's hanging on one of the many hooks on the left side wall, in front of the wooden stairs, and front door. 

Emma smiled, and walked out the room quickly so Sophia couldn't see, her voice came soon after. 

''Come on, we don't have all day.'' Sophia could only grumble under her breath as she put her dishes away and followed Kaile and Emma outside of the house, and into Emma's parked hovering car.
