AN: Sorry for not getting 4 chapters out I bought Breath of the Wild and couldn't stop playing it.

I opened my eyes to an indistinct black cloud all around me. I was still in my shrunken form, or at least I couldn't tell if I was in my full from.

"Hello?"

My shout echoes for a bit but is silenced as it enters the cloud. I was expecting to receive a response or at least a hint of what is in the depths of the cloud. With no response I began experimenting what I could do here, My profound energy was restricted and could only move in my body a bit, My god core was unrestricted but the cloud absorbed the divine energy when it neared it. Left with no other option I waited in the open area for something to come to me. After an inordinate amount of time I saw a spine winding its way towards me, As it got closer it started to speed up. I used my divine energy to form a barrier around my body just for the thing to slam into me.

"MY CHILD HAS RETURNED!"

'Wut?'

Now that apparently my parent, is out of the cloud I could see them clearly and an enormous pitch black western dragon with crackling purple eyes rough spines dotted with vibrant purple scales running down the entire length of their visible body until it disappeared into the cloud.

"Should I know you?"

My question silences the dragon as they loom at me in confusion.

"Do you not recognize your mother?"

"No... I don't?"

To my surprise my Mother? Began shrinking until she curled into a ball barely bigger than me and started pouting.

"Auuuu, My son forgot about his lonely mother, Auuuu"

AN: I think I did the SFX right.

"I'm sorry mother. Please stop crying."

She brightened up immediately and once again slammed into me and started to wrap herself around me.

"You called me Mother you must remember me!"

'I don't but... M-mother, why am I here?"

"Oh that! You got pulled here because the Abyss is made to attract my children so I can meet them."

"Well... why do you need to meet your kids?"

"I don't know I haven't seen any of them since those weird people stopped showing up."

"Weird people?"

"Yeah they showed up declared they were gods and attacked me when I was just waking up! I don't think I calmed down until after that long blue dragon showed up."

'Oh god my mother is oblivious to the outside world.'

"And the blue Dragon tried to talk to me but I was still too angry to want to speak with them."

"But what did I get from you?"

"You must be able to absorb energy right!"

"I can... Is that your ability?"

"Nope! My ability is to absorb beings until you evolve into a higher version of your species!"

"So you absorb any creatures until you evolve?"

"No!! If I did that I would become an abomination with no personality that works on instincts only! An amalgamation of different psyches fighting for the same body until the body shuts down!"

I freeze imediately.

'So I should have hidden personalities? Or my body should start fighting me?'

Mother seems to notice this as her eyes narrow down to slits, flickering dangerously.

"You didn't absorb everything you could get at did you?"

"I... might have."

Mother started squeezing me even harder to the point where my scales and bones were cracking as my energy frantically tried to repair my body.

"How is your soul so pure if you absorb beings outside of serpents or dragons?"

"I don't know I was fine since I began absorbing cores."

"Did you absorb blood of a High ranking Dragon?"

"I think so? Canglong is the highest ranked dragon here. At least according to him."

"Who's Canglong?"

"The Primordial Azure Dragon."

"The what?"

"The long blue dragon."

"OH! Him!"

Yes and I need to let him and elder sister know I'm alright."

"I have a daughter too!"

"No. she adopted me as her younger brother."

"Uuu. I want a daughter too!"

By this point Mother had disentangled herself with me and was floating around me as her tail still coiled out of the cloud.

"How far does the abyss span?"

"I don't know I haven't bothered checking."

"If you don't know how did you end up here?"

"That annoyance of a goddess decided I caused too much trouble and locked me in here."

"Goddess?"

"And she doesn't even visit! She said she would! So I sent my children out into the universe to experience the world since she said she would change the entire place!"

"Do I have any siblings?"

"Mabye? They haven't visited in a while."

"How long is awhile?"

"Time is weird here it shouldn't have been that long after the dragon showed up."

"That was multiple million years ago Mother."

Mother stops for a while and looks kind of spooked.

"It couldn't have been that long right?"

"Last time I checked Canglong died to the Evil Infant's Wheel of Myriad Tribulation's poison around 3 Million years ago."

"Wait how do you know him if he died before you matured?"

"He left behind an inheritance I absorbed his blood and evolved into what I am now. He also entered my god core so he can speak to me and manifest hiself outside of my body."

"God core?"

"I don't know exactly what it is but I formed it and it contains divine energy according to Canglong."

"Oh! Then I can leave some of my conscience with you so I can talk to you anytime I want!"

"I guess that is how you could put it."

I feel Mothers unique energy enter my body and reach my god core forming a little version of mother inside much like Canglong does.

"Alright lets go meet your sister!"

"Why do you sound so exited about this?"

"I have children I can see it's the most that's happened to me in years!"

"Oh god this will be terrifying."

AN: More dialogue than usual but I am getting back in the groove.
