He wanted to learn from people about his life experiences. One day he was sitting next to his friend's grandfather listening to the events of his life. His friend's grandfather smiled and said, "Then you should meet an old man named Grove." Haley wondered who he was and they said he was an old man a thousand years old and he knew hundreds of true stories but he lived alone in a forest away from the city If he doesn't want to meet his heart, he meets someone and tells him stories, but his stories are very unique. He doesn't know in which forest he lives. He has to go to the forest and find out for himself. He finally finds the thousand-year-old Grove and persuades him to tell the story with great difficulty. The old Grove promises him that he will stay in the same forest for three years. But he agrees to tell the story, and Haley plans to stay in the woods for three years, and then Gruit tells him a hundred stories that make him a very intelligent and experienced man. Kar returns from the jungle and spends the rest of his life very successfully

On dit que la vie n'est qu'un aléa de circonstances. Un chemin mène toujours à d'autres, nous conduisant parfois à des situations que jamais nous n'aurions pu croire. Si Elena n'avait pas répondu aux provocations d'une étudiante de seconde année dans une épreuve de courage qui se déroulait en pleine nuit, elle n'aurait probablement pas perdu l'équilibre en tombant d'une falaise. Ni ne se serait retrouvée ligotée par une créature anthropophage qui avait l'air de vouloir déguster sa chair. Encore moins d'être sauvée par un étrange garçon pas tout à fait humain, qui n'a même pas pris la peine de la détacher de ses entraves pour l'emmener voir son "maître". Puis que ce dernier l'enverrait partir pour le bout du monde afin d'ôter sa bénédiction conférant le don de Vie, cadeau offert à ses aïeuls maintenant en elle. Et enfin d'apprendre que des hommes, des monstres et même des dieux seraient prêt à la tuer dans le but de s'emparer de son pouvoir. Oui... un drôle d'enchaînement de circonstances...
