Chapter. 12. A visit.

"Seniorrr!".

Aai: "Hey wai... !"

Aai was surprised by the sudden embrace but soon recognized the familiar scent of the transfer student..

Aai fell down as the girl hugged her.

The girl seemed overjoyed as she kept hugging Aai.

Aai: "Could you let go!". Aai said in a voice.

The girl let off Aai,

Aai landed on the wet ground, making her uniform wet and dirty while the girl only had her legs wet.

: "I'm so sorry!.i didn't mean to... ". The girl just realised their situation.

"What the...what is it? ".

: "senior look at this". She showed Aai a paper where she had scored very good.

: "Senior, it was all your help that I got such marks, thank you senior". saying she again hugged Aai.

Aai: "let go off me..... stop hugging me!". she shouted.

: "I'm sorry". she felt bad.

Aai got up, her cloths were drenched, she looked at the girl who looked upset.

Aai: "Sigh.... good". she couldn't help but say while patting the girl's head.

Girl looked at Aai happily.

Aai: "I've nothing to do with it. It's just result of your hard work ".

The girl smiled at Aai, while Aai felt awkward.

Then someone called her

: "Aai?".

The girls looked around. Nair was walking towards them. Seeing Aai drenched he said,

Nair: "Hey! Aai what's wrong? Why are your clothes wet?". worriedly.

: "Umm sorry it's ...actually my fault. I just wanted to hug her but fell down while doing it. I'm sorry I didn't mean any harm... " the girl felt scared.

Nair: "....oh! That's what it was ....Mmm now why don't you come with us. Since your uniform is also wet, dry them or you will catch cold. And it's not good for girls to catch cold". he said while brushing Aai's head.

Aai: "Stop it".

: "no I... "

Nair: "Come on let's get going. ....Aai?".

Aai: "Do what you want".

Aai and Nair came back home with the girl. Aai gave the girl her spare clothes and a dryer to dry her uniform and returned to her room to get changed. When she came down to living room, the two were having warm milk.

That girl looked at Aai and blushed.

Nair: "Are you ok, did you catch cold?".

: "No I'm ok". flushed she looked down. Nair noticed Aai,

Nair: "Oh Aai, came here and have something warm.... ". He noticed Aai's hair still wet.

Nair: "Why are your hair still wet, dry them completely". he pulled her to the sofa and began drying her hair.

Aai: "hey stop it! I can... ". as she was speaking Nair held her head, "Sit still". Helpless Aai sat quietly.

She saw the girl staring at her, "Is something wrong?".

The girl shook her head. She noticed something shaking near Aai,

"Senior there... there's something near you" she pointed.

As Aai turned to see, her dog jumped on her.

"Ahhh!".

The drying fell on Aai's head.

Nair: "Sorry Aai, you ok! it slipped as you moved.. sorry".

"senior! you ok?" she too seemed worried.

Aai: "....it's nothing....how many times to tell you not to jump on me". she shouted at her dog.

Her dog with sad look brushed itself on her as if he was apologizing.

Aai sighed. It went and sat beside her with his head on her lap.

After a while, Nair asked about the girl.

Her name was Belis. She stayed in the US but her parents sent her here to live with her cousin. She was a year younger than Aai.
