Shifter: someone who can shape shift into an animal. This animal is decided based on heritage.

For example, if a female fox shifter and a male fox shifter have a child it's guaranteed the child will be a fox shifter.

If a female badger shifter and a male lion shifter then there is a 60% chance the baby will be a badger shifter and 40% chance that they will be a lion shifter.

Were-___: an interchangeable word with shifter.

Rouge: a loose term used to define anyone who isn't in a pack, including humans.

Scavenger: a term used for rouges who travel between packs, sort of like nomads would, all scavengers are under an undeniable law to never intentionally cause harm to the packs they come across unless provoked and the leaders of each pack can deny scavengers' access at any time for any reason.
