The system

It's lost, in a void alone. Is it floating? or is it stationery? , Is it moving? or is it motionless? it doesn't know. The only thing it knows is that it had a purpose and it failed because of it, it's nowhere in the void alone. Broken.

It hates being alone. It doesn't remember its name even if it tries all its memories of the past seem to be gone. What would it do know, would it stay here in the void questioning its existence for eternity. But even if it did do something what would it do? would it try to get its memories back? would it find a way out of the void? or would it try to fix itself?

But before it could do any of these things, a small light was seen flickering in the void.

It looked at the light and felt a small feeling of warmth from the light. unconsciously it begin to move to the light like a moth to a flame. slowly but surely it arrived.

The light seems to be a soul, one that is on the verge of dissipating due to the power of the void.

The broken system created a small string of unknown energy and attached it to the small soul but in doing so it also connected both their souls. meaning if one were to die so would the other and both their souls would be destroyed.

The system didn't care, when it connected to the soul it knew what it wanted. It doesn't want to be alone anymore.

When the system connected to the host both of them glowed bright like a star and disappeared from the void.

The system activated its only feature left. {parallel reality transportasion}. so that its new host could survive. But the system didn't know where or when they would be transported to.

But at least it's no longer alone.
