Chapter 72: Juliana.

From the living room , Calcel dashed into his room. Only God knows how angry he was at the moment. It was hard for him to believe that now David trusted Alyssa more than everyone. He cursed and through away everything that was on his dressing table.

That's when Jenny ran into his room. She was flabbergasted to see what she saw.

" Calcel , What's wrong ? " Jenny asked in astonishment.

Calcel turned to look at Jenny. She could see the anger in him.

" Did you quarrel with your father ? "

" Can you believe that he just slapped me ? " Calcel muttered.

" My g , Why would he do that ? " Jenny said sadly stretching out her arm to touch his cheek.

Calcel looked away to avoid the touch. " Just because I compared Alyssa and mother. I can't believe that he is on her side. " He yelled with fire in his eyes.

" Calc...calm down . " Jenny said and clutched his shoulders to help him sit on the bed.

He sighed .

" Tell me , What really happened ? " Jenny asked after seeing that he was calm.

" I just wanted Mom to stay with us for a mean while we wait for my engagement. " Calcel said.

" You know that your father can't accept that.." Jenny reminded him.

" That's why I argued with him. Does he hate her to that extent ? " Calcel asked.

" You can't understand unless you Know the real reason why he divorced her. " Jenny said.

" That's what I really want to know. "

" It won't be good for you to know. But with time you will understand that your father had no bad intentions of divorce." Jenny explained.

" Can't you tell me what really happened ? " Calcel asked.

" I can't tell you unless your father decides. "

" Then I will have to find myself , I am going to make research. " Calcel slurred.

Jenny looked at him with pit.

' It will hurt you most when you find out. I won't allow it to happen. ' Jenny said innery

" Let me get someone to clean your room " Jenny told him and left .

Alyssa went to her room happy that she was soon going to join the film industry again. She got her phone to ring Herman. He was the first person she wanted to share this with. After the call she lied on her bed smiling. At least she was going to be busy with work and she wasn't going to be working with Calcel so she wasn't going to be affected by his marriage. Most importantly she just had over six weeks to leave the Mansion. She couldn't wait to be free again.

The next day , Alyssa had to meet May such that they would discuss about the shopping in preparations for the party. Calcel as usual left for work and David too was busy meeting the government leaders.

That afternoon , Alyssa returned in the afternoon. She was exhausted from what she gone through the whole day.

She went immediately to her room and changed into the home wear when she heard some noise from downstairs.

' What's happening there ? ' She asked herself and decided to go to check.

" Welcome Ms Juliana. " The two maids who helped her pick the luggage said and left.

" Ms Jenny ? " Little Clere called and ran to give Jenny a hug.

" Welcome back love. I missed you so much. " Jenny said entangled in the hug with Clere.

" I missed you too. " Clere said and they parted from the hug.

Jenny went to Juliana and hugged her.

" It's been a while . " Jenny said.

" Indeed. But you haven't changed that much. " Juliana exclaimed and both hugged.

They went and sat down. Clere had already switched the TV on and she was watching cartoons. While they were chatting that's when Alyssa came downstairs. She looked confused seeing a middle aged woman talking to Jenny.

Clere was the first to notice Alyssa so she immediately put the remote on the table and ran to Alyssa.

" Aunty Alyssa ? " She called and that's when Jenny and Juliana's attention was pulled to Alyssa.

Alyssa hugged Clere surprised to see her.

" Clere , When did you come ? " She asked smiling at the little girl after hugging her.

" I just came today with Mommy. " Clere said happily.

That's when Alyssa realized that this must be Juliana. Calcel's mother and David's ex wife. Alyssa looked up at Juliana and swallowed hard.

Jenny saw the condition and walked to Alyssa. She held her hand and went back to Juliana with her .

" Alyssa , This is Ms Juliana. Clere and Calcel's mother. " Jenny said .

Alyssa didn't know what to say. " Ah..ah...I am Alyssa. Nice to meet you Ma'am. " She said giving her some respect.

Juliana got up from the sofa and looked at Alyssa with a smile. " Wow , Nice to meet you. " She said giving her a hand for a shake.

" Nice to meet you too Ma'am . " Alyssa said.

Jenny was still looking at them happily.

" So are you my daughter in.law in to be ? " Juliana asked a question that flabbergasted both Jenny and Alyssa.

" Ooh...Sorry not to introduce Alyssa to you. She's Mr Wong's wife. " Jenny said in panic.

Alyssa swallowed again. She didn't know what to say.

" Oh my God ! Sorry for mistaking you . " Juliana apologized.

" It's fine . " Alyssa mumbled.

" I didn't expect David to have such a young wife. So I had to think that you are Calcel's Fiance. I Am really sorry . " Juliana apologized again

" It's fine , Please sit down. " Alyssa requested.
