" Thank you ! " Alyssa said before getting out of the car. She didn't bother to wait for his reply.

Calcel drove the car back to the company. As soon as he was in his office May came.

" Sir , You are back ? " May asked.

" Yes , Did I miss anything important ? " Calcel asked her.

" No , Not at all. " May said smiling. " Your father came to check on you but he just left to attend an important ceremony. " May added.

" Oh...I will see him when I am back home. " Calcel said and went to sit on his office chair.

" I am...How is Ms Alyssa ? " May finally asked.

" She wasn't hurt . She's fine now. " Calcel replied.

" That's relieving. I shouldn't have brought her hot coffee , I am really sorry. It's my fault.." May said solemnly.

" Don't blame yourself. It was actually my fault. " Calcel muttered looking sad too but then he put a smile and said. " Go ask Ronny to come and see me ! "

" Okay sir. " May bowed and left the office.

Calcel tried to focus back on his business when he noticed Alyssa's phone. While she was showing him the logos , She left it on the desk. He got it and logos were still on display so he scrolled to see what more was there when he started seeing her selfies. She really looked beautiful . He continued scrolling till he found more photos. Some of them Alyssa was with her mother but most of the photos Alyssa was with Herman.

' These two are really close ! ' He exclaimed when suddenly Alyssa recieved a message.

Herman 💞 : Hello dear , Hope you haven't forgot about our picnic tommorow !

The message said. What amused Calcel most was that Alyssa had saved Herman's number with two hearts . Were the two really dating even after David tried to part them by asking Alyssa to quit acting ? Somehow Calcel wasn't happy with this.

He decided to reply the message but before he could do so Ronny came in the office.

" Sir , You called for me. " Ronny said.

Calcel put back the phone and looked at Ronny. " Yes , Have a seat ! "

At the Wong's Mansion.

After having her shower , Alyssa went back to the living room with her note book. She was composing a song , She was in the middle of the writing when David returned. Alyssa immediately closed the book.

" Welcome back Mr David ! " She said.

David sat on the sofa opposite her. " So what happened ? " He asked refering to the accident.

" It was just coffee that poured on me. But I am fine now ! " Alyssa mumbled.

David gave a sigh and then got up from the sofa. " I am so tired , Make sure my dinner is ready when I come back from the shower. " David said and left.

Alyssa was surprised. Was David asking her to prepare dinner for him ? She was so shocked but happy at the same time that at least she was going to help the maids. She couldn't wait any longer so she immediately went to the kitchen.

It was finally dinner time and they were done with the preparations. Alyssa sat on the dinning table and waited for Jenny who went to call David and Calcel. David was the one to come first.

He sat down and looked at Alyssa. " I didn't expect you to finish this early . " He said starting to eat up.

" I tried my best with the help of maids. " Alyssa said cheerfully.

" It's really delicious . " David commented putting a smile on Alyssa's face.

" Ah..Thanks. Try this too. " Alyssa said bringing another bowl before him.

They were like this when Calcel came. He could see them looking happy from a distance. Alyssa was smiling while giving David the plateful of salads. David also looked happy.

' Hope my father is not falling for that woman. ' He thought walking towards them slowly. He would never forgive Alyssa if she made his father forget his mother completely. And Calcel was now sure that something must be going on between Alyssa and Herman.

" Greetings father ? " He greeted and sat down besides him.

" How did the appointment with Mr Kevin go ? " David asked Calcel .

" He cancelled everything. " Calcel said his anger rising again. Alyssa noticed it.

" Why would he really cancel it ? " David thought.

" Don't worry Dad , I am trying to get in touch . " Calcel said more confident.

That's when Alyssa got to understand who they were talking about. She cleared her throat and said.

" Are you two talking about Mr Kevin Anderson ? " Alyssa asked.

" Yes , Do you know him ? " David asked with a frown. Calcel also turned to look at her .

" Yes...He's been working with EE Entertainment for some time . He's my friend and I assure you I can convince him about anything. " Alyssa said cheerfully.

David and Calcel looked at each other and then turned to Alyssa again. Calcel was speechless.

" Are you sure about this ? " David asked.

" Of course , Trust me about that. " Alyssa said proudly.

" That's fine , You will have to meet with him Calcel. Isn't it ? " David said and asked Calcel for assurance.

" Ah...of course Dad. " He just murmured.

After the dinner , David left the dinning room leaving Calcel and Alyssa together. Alyssa was also done with hers but Calcel was still eating having found them in the middle of the meal.

Alyssa decided to get up and leave but as soon as she stood up she heard Calcel say. " Here's your phone ! "

Alyssa looked at him and then the phone that Calcel just put on the table. " Thank you ! _ She said picking the phone. " ...Good night. " She added and left.

Calcel didn't reply back but continued eating his food. Alyssa went to her room and as soon as she was there she checked through it when she saw Herman's message.

' Gosh ! I almost forgot that I have to meet Herman. ,' She reminded herself. Tomorrow was a weekend so she was free. She had planned to spend the weekend with Herman since it was his birthday and besides that he had asked her to celebrate with him.
