Chapter 172: You are my fiancee.

' She can really sing ! '

After singing she looked at all of them.

" Are you happy now ? " She asked but ofcourse none of them said a word.

" Since you guys have no more questions, I should leave . " She spoke and walked away.

" Oh my ! Marvis ! You have nailed it ! " Camilla shouted and jumped on Alyssa as soon as she had just entered the building.

They had been watching her through the glass window at the reception.

" Camilla, You startled me ! " Said Alyssa.

Camilla wrapped her arm around Alyssa's neck.

" I am very sure that those idiots will not disturb you again. You have totally proved them wrong. " Yapped Camilla.

They went straight to the studio and Alyssa begun doing her work. Nothing disturbed her for rest of the day and it was a good one until she went back to her apartment.

Today she was just in the parking and getting out of her car when Derrick came to her.

She was startled to see him here again. She thought that he would not disturb her again after Calcel had declared that he was her boyfriend.

Derrick smirked. " What brings you here again ? ",Alyssa asked angrily.

" My love Marvis, You used to be happy on seeing me by then . But now look at your gloomy face. " He maintained his smirk.

" You saw my boyfriend already. What else do want from me ? " She asked.

" The boyfriend doesn't matter to me. " He begun walking circles around her.

" I only want you. I don't care if you have someone else. " Said Derrick.

Alyssa turned to look at him. " Derrick, You are very shameless. How dare you come to me after dumping me and our baby ? "

" Marvis, That was my parents decision not mine. " He said.

" Don't lie ! "

" I am not lying. My parents didn't want me to marry you because you were from a poor family. " He said and smiled sheepishly.

" But since you are well off now. We can get married. " He concluded.

Alyssa chuckled not believing this shameful man.

" I can never get married to a man like you ! " She swore.

"Oh Marvis, Why ? Why can't you get married to me ? " He questioned.

" I won't repeat myself again. I have a boyfriend. So you must leave me alone ! " She said and turned to leave when Derrick came after her and pulled her to face him again.

" Marvis, Have you forgotten that you are my fiancee ? " Derrick asked.

Alyssa became confused and narrowed her eyes..

" What the hell are you talking about ? " She yelled.

" That night that I slept with you. I proposed to you and you said yes. If it wasn't for my parents to refuse we would be a married couple now. " Derrick said to her.

' Was I so much in love with him like this ? '

Alyssa wondered and found her voice. " So what ? That is in the past. And you are the one who pulled out. " She said.

" Marvis ! I want you to choose wisely. " He said and pulled out his phone.

" This is the video we took the day i proposed to you. "

He played the video for her.

It was the real Marvis by then who was in a yellow brouse, A blue sweater and jeans when Derrick who was in a blue suit knelt before her with a ring in his finger.

" Marvis, Will you marry me ? " He asked her.

" Yes !! " Marvis answered with a smile and Derrick put the ring on her finger.

After that he stood up and kissed her lips. Marvis looked so happily at him and kissed him again.

" I love you Derrick .." She Said.

" I love you too Marvis.." He answered to her and then they looked at the camera with smiles on their faces.

" Hi..stop recording already.." Marvis said to the friend who was recording them and the video ends.

Of course Alyssa didn't know anything about this. But since she thinks she is Marvis, She took this as part of the memory that she lost.

" If you don't break up with that man and come back to me, I will post this video and I am very sure that people will wonder the kind of a girl who dumped her fiancee for another man. And well, You know people hate celebrities like you. " Derrick said.

" But those are lies. You are the one who left. I will tell them the truth ! " Alyssa argued making Derrick laugh wickedly.

" Truth ? Let's see who they will believe. You have no proof but I have ! " Derrick said.

Alyssa felt anger rise in her veins and folded her hands into fists.

" So ...my love. I am giving you a week to think about it. " Derrick and and pecked her on the cheek which after he left.

Alyssa leaned back to her car in disbelief. She felt her knees weak and her eyes begun releasing tears.

' But What wrong did I ever do to deserve this ! Can't i ever have a good life ? Cant I love the person that I want ? can't I keep my career ? '

She asked in tears and cursed. She was like that when another car came along and an old woman came out.

When Alyssa saw her she quickly dried her tears and walked away.

Later after having a shower, Alyssa put on her night wear and sat on the bed. She picked her phone and thought about Calcel. She remembered their intimacy the previous day and a thin smile curved on her face.

" I can't believe that you are already my boyfriend but I don't even have your number. " This was really the funny part of it.

Then she remembered what Derrick just told her a few hours ago.

' Calcel, Should I break up with you even before getting a chance to love you ? '

She asked herself and then thought more about it.

Calcel was also in his room when he thought about her and then just realized that he doesn't have her number.

" Ms Jenny never lied. I am very slow.." He laughed at himself.
