Chapter 151: Only those who wrong get punished.

She bit her lower lip wondering if it could ever happen again.

At the hospital...

David was still with Cynthia when he suddenly thought of Calcel. He looked around and found him gone.

" I am Sorry Cynthia...let find Calcel first.." David said and rushed to follow him.

From the operational ward Calcel rushed to his car and entered it

When he was inside he couldn't control his eyes from shading tears anymore. Today he cried and weiled like a helpless child.

When David was outside he saw Calcel's car still around and gave a sigh of relief. At least he had not driven off to go and drink.

' Where is he right now ? ' He asked himself wondering where he was until he saw the lights of the car get on.

" Oh my God ! he is inside..". David realized and ran to the car before Calcel could start it.

He came opened and entered.

" Calcel..." he called but Calcel couldn't answer because of the tears.

" Father why ? " Calcel asked

. " Why do I have to be punished like this ? Why do all my babies die before they are born ? " He asked while weiling.

Of course David knew this. Calcel had lost the first child with Alyssa and this was the second child.

David didn't know the answer at the moment.

" Is God still punishing me for falling in love with my step mother ? " Now Calcel asked looking David when David failed to answer his question.

" ...No..No..no son. Don't say such a thing. " David answered.

" Then why ? why did Uriah die before he was even born ? before he could call me father ? " Calcel question painfully.

" Your father died..." David decided to say this as a story.

" I was very angry. It pained me alot that I had lost my brother. I felt sorry for him that he left without a child. " David spoke and chuckled at this.

" Little did I know that you...you..who i was calling my child was actually his. I didn't know that I am the one who was actually childless until the DNA test camw showing that you were not my son.." David narrated with Calcel listened.

" I was supposed to be happy that my brother died after leaving a child behind. But then because you were his son not mine, I became very angry with everyone. My dead brother, Juliana and even you too. " David chatted.

" But then...I realized that even though you were not my son. You still had a purpose for me. And then here it is...you may not be my actual blood but you are the son that i ever wanted to have. Because you are the only son that I got. " David spoke.

" Why are you telling me this right now ? " Calcel asked calming down slowly.

" Because I know how it feels to lose a child just the way u felt when i found out that you were not my biological son. " David said.

" But God does things for reasons . I wasn't able to bear a son but I got you through my brother. " David sighed and then said.

" I believe that the two babies you have lost are...not what you wish for maybe . I believe that , God will give you more than that. And I believe that, Everything has happened with a good reason behind. .

...and guess what...they are all in heaven right now..with your father, our grand parents, Alyssa and the rest. They will all be taken care of. I am sure God dud this to protect them. " David said.

" So...you really think that I am not being punished ? " He asked.

" I dont think so. Because You didn't do anything wrong. Only those who wrong get punished. " David spoke.

Calcel was listening.

" And if you feel like you did something wrong. Then accept the punishment. " David Said.

" Father...i know i have done many wrongs but this time round i didn't do anything to deserve the punishment. " Calcel said.

" Then be positive about this. If its Uriah, God will give us another one....So..its not a punishment..not yours at all " David said and smiled.

After this Calcel hugged David . At least he had been able to comfort him.

" You can good home and have some rest. May is still unconscious, We can see her tomorrow. " David suggested.

He didn't want Calcel to get and get drunk as he always did whenever he had a problem.

" Okay Father. Thank you.." He said.

David smiled and then left the car.

Alyssa was trying to get sleep when Dora, Rita and Maria came in. She had left before them as they were still cleaning everything they had used in the party.

" Marvis...get up ...get up..." Rita yelled with excitement.

" What is it that you want ? " Alyssa asked as she sat on the bed.

" He heard everything. You and Called kissed. " Said Dora.

" Hurry up. Tell us ! " Maria added.

" Guys it wasn't a kiss. It was just..."

" Whatever. Just tell us. How did you feel when his lips touched yours ? " Rita asked impatiently.

Alyssa was in trouble. How was she going to answer this.

" Guys it's past mid night. Please go and have some rest.." Alyssa said getting up from the bed.

" Hi...Come back and tell us...." Rita yelled but Alyssa wasn't ready to explain how she felt about the kiss she wasn't even meant for.

As Alyssa walked out, She saw Calcel's car back and saw him get out.

Calcel was walking inside when Alyssa came from the other side . she just wanted to ask him how May was doing.

Calcel saw her and stopped walking as she was coming towards him.

" How is she ? Ms May ? " Alyssa asked politely.

Calcel wondered if he could answer her or not. How was he going to tell a maid that his baby was gone. How could he start anyway. It was none of her business. Why would was she asking.

Calcel wanted to be rude at her at the moment but then his eyes released tears instead.
