Chapter 150: We are sorry

Calcel got up after setting up his mind to go and talk to May when his eyes landed on Alyssa.

Alyssa looked at him and swallowed hard. She didn't know what to do after what just happened.

' My heart is racing, What should i do right now ? '

She asked herself thinking of walking back but then she thought being confident the best.

' I will go and apologize to him ! '

She thought and finally got the courage to walk to him but the nearer the went the more her heart raced.

" Hi..." She stopped right before him.

" What brings you here ? " He answered coldly.

But she had expected that from him.

" ...I...was...just...walking to my room. " She stammered

Calcel looked away from her and said.

" Then you go..." He answered not caring about her presence.

" ..I am...sorry for what happened. " She managed to speak.

" I am really sorry.." She now said with a low bow and after she looked up at him to hear his answer.

Calcel looked back at her and said.

" There's nothing to apologize for. Because my party is all ruined.." he said.

" You can still go back to people. I am sure they understand...understand that...it was an accident. " She muttered.

" My wife is angry with me. How do you expect me to go back and have fun with guests ? " Calcel asked.

" I can explain to get everything. I really didn't mean to..." She now looked down .

" Go to your room ! " Calcel said and decided to g before her when Alyssa suddenly groaned in pain and she touched her arm.

He turned to her. " Are you fine ? " He asked.

" My arm was already hurting and i just fell on it..." she said but the truth it was Calcel who fell on it agsin during their fall

He remembered just 15 minutes ago, He was on top of her and this had hurt her arm again.

Calcel grabbed it and saw that now it has a bruise.

" You just got this , Right ? " He asked.

" ...I am...it's a small thing. " She said pulling her hand back and he let it go.

" Make sure that you apply the oil that I gave you yesterday. " He said.

Alyssa smiled and said. " Sir, I will. Thank you. " She said.

Calcel had turned to leave again when Alyssa said.

" You are a very good person. " This made him to look at her again but he had a blank expression.

" I guess most people just have a negative attitude towards you cold looks but you are a nice person. " She said again now smiling.

Calcel smirked. " I am not a nice person. I am just nice when I want . And to those I want.." he said almost the same thing that Dora had said that Calcel is only nice to the people that he loves.

" Even though. It still makes you a nice person." She said again.

May and Cynthia were still hugging when May suddenly begun groaning in pain and Cynthia pulled away.

" May are you alright ? " Cynthia asked.

" Mother...my baby...my stomach hurts.." May cried.

Cynthia felt scared on hearing this and she immediately grabbed her phone and called David.

David was seeing off the guests and most of them had left by now.

He heard his phone and picked it.

" Cynthia...what is it ? " David asked.

" May's stomach hurts. Please send guards to puck her immediately and get a car ready.." Cynthia said quickly.

" Okay..." David answered in panic and did as he had been asked.

" Hi...Go to your room. " He said coldly again and before Alyssa could move they both heard noise from inside and rushed

May was being carried by a guard..

Calcel rushed and stopped before them.

" What is happening ? " He asked surprised.

" Her stomach hurts..." Cynthia answered quickly Calcel carried May from the guards hands.

He was very built and strong enough to carry her.

Cyhthia saw Alyssa as they walked out and recognized her as Marvis. She gave her an evil look but because they were in rush she didn't have time to scold her.

At the hospital....

Calcel ,David and Cynthia were waiting impatiently when the doctor came from the operation room.

The operation had taken over two plus hours and they had waited enough that it was going to mid night.

" How is she and the baby ? " Calcel asked with concern.

" Your wife is fine. But we are sorry about the baby. " Declared the doctor

Calcel felt his body get weak on hearing this..Cynthia too became anxious.

" What do you mean...what's wrong with the baby ? " Cynthia asked.

" She had a stillbirth. " The doctor declared.

" Stillbirth ?....You ...mean...my baby...is gone ? " Calcel asked not believing his ears that he could only speak in a shaky voice.

" We are sorry . " That's all the doctor could say.

David stepped forward and grabbed the doctor's collars.

" What do you mean that the baby is gone , May was fine

...." David spoke angrily.

" The baby just died so we have removed him to saver her life. " The doctor said.

Calcel's eyes released tears immediately. Was this a curse or...

Cynthia too couldn't believe that and she begun crying.

" How could that happen ? " She asked.

" It was her placenta that affected the fetus and so she couldn't support the baby. Please accept our apology. " The doctor spoke and now David released him.

Calcel gave a very heavy sigh and then walked away in slow movements like a zombie as if he didn't mind about anything in front or besides him.

Everyone was in a painful moment at that time. All David could do is to give Cynthia a hug and try to comfort her.

At the Mansion...

Alyssa and her mates went to bed late because they had to re arrange everything after the party.

It was midnight when they finally lied down to have some rest.

The moment Alyssa closed her eyes the image of how she and Calcel kissed accidentally came to her.

She bit her lower lip wondering if that could ever happen again.
