Fairy Battle : Rise of Unknown

The world turned into turmoil as major cities suffered devastating calamities.

Human beings are hunted down by magical beasts arriving from the portal that occurs in the atmosphere. This portal summoned a magical beast that brought up devastation into Auria.

Civilizations collapse, and the governments used every weapon in their arsenal, even nuclear weapons failed to stop the beasts.

They merely created more destruction and casualties among civilians. This resulted in more chaos as the magic beasts continue to enter Auria using the portal. 

The world is invaded by Beast Races, and their invasion brings Mana to the Auria Planet, this phenomenon where called "Mana Distribution Influxes".

This phenomenon occurrence triggered the biggest tragedy for humankind but it is also the revolutionary factor of humans in Auria Planet.

Chaos continues until the rise of "Contractor". A contractor is a human that is able to form a magic contract with a fairy.

A fairy is a small creature with high magic control that allowed the user to use them as a medium to control mana based on its type of it. 

Each fairy had different elements of affinity and humans also had different mental capabilities, low mental capabilities will result in someone can only contract low-tier fairies.

As time progressed humans finally had an advantage in this war, and they continue their study of fairies and their skills. 

Humanity finally had found a weapon to win this war, and fairies became an important part of humanity since these groups later fought the final war and change humanity and the planet forever.

Humans also found a way to unlock a forbidden skill, a skill that can be used as a trump card for this war, this skill allows "Contractor" to copy skills from their fairy and used them as their own skills.

It is known as "Fairy Unity" but the cost of this overdrive of high mana concentration will result into someone being a cripple or die due to excessive amount of mana.

After all, a human can't control mana except for a few gifted people, and even for these gifted humans, also had to bear a long-term health effects that eventually lead to their demise on the battlefield.

30 years long war, countless bloodshed, humanity finally won but at what cause? More than half of the population was gone during this 30 years war. 

A Ragnarok War they called it, not until the Heroes and Heroines gathered together, a group of highly gifted people with amazing affinities with mana and their fairy, the group that saves humanity called "Fairy Insignia".

Their descendants which later shape the world order and bring back society and government, they save the people and gave hope for them to march into the new future. Their bloodlines were hunted and killed, massacred under the propaganda of world domination.

This resulted in an uprising that make these "Royal" descendants throw their identity away and live with new identities as it was the only way to save their families and gain safety. Their descendants were later known as "Unknown".

300 years had passed since humanity adopted fairies into society. Some for basic use, pets, some for entertainment, and the pinnacle of entertainment in the modern yet magical Planet Auria is Fairy Battle. 

A contractor uses fairy to gain wealth and a high position both fame and glory awaited those who can fight for it.

This Fairy Battle is the greatest sport and job as many Guilds build their reputation as the best in the world, it is also a national pride for many. Those who were weak will not be remembered in the annal of history!

Planet Earth (the Year 2073)

Edward Elion, is now on the run from being hunted by the most notorious organization in the world, the "Black Dragon Syndicate" after he assassinated almost all of the syndicate's upper echelons in Siberia, one of the coldest regions in the world and one of the famous archeology site in Russia.

"Huff, huff, damnit, who expects that those old bastards are masters in martial arts all over the world," 

"Not to mention they broke my left shoulder and a few of my ribs also broken. It is a miracle itself that I can run this far, especially in these snowy regions."

Edward Elion now grasping for air, as he had been running around for more than 12 hours now, and the drink that keep his consciousness from fallen is the snow in his mouth that he used to keep himself hydrated throughout this journey while being hunted down by the most powerful underworld organization on this planet.

He is now under a massive tree shade covered by snow, he already lost count of how many times he vomited blood on his run here. 

Looking at the star in the sky and the full moon, the only hope to get away from this mess is either living as an unknown somewhere in the forest or just dying here.

"I wish I was a star in the sky, like a lamp that shines on the Earth and is admired by many."

"Human is destroying themselves without them even realizing it and I am just one of many who desires peace with a weapon in my hand."

Unwillingness and frustrations now boiling inside of him as he cursed the world and his fate.

"I cursed the devil that destroy me and I cursed the demon that my parents are!! Dead for me, Heaven as you the one that bears witness over humankind, I vowed my blood as I will kill them all!! 

He decided to cursed the heaven for everything that happened to his life and fate.

"Those who were leaders in the name of justice are nothing more than a devil in human clothes!!"

"Heaven be my witness!! I refused this fate if it exists and if this is the punishment for my own choice, then granted me dead!!"

His scream echoes the region as only silence answered his roar, his death is full of regrets yet at the same time he is fully satisfied as he will no longer be living as either human or the devil.

But Heaven had a different plan for him, the moment his consciousness came back to him, he already reincarnated into this new world. 

The Auria Planet and the Aegis Alliance Kingdom are his new home and where his new identity resides. He vowed to change but will he be able to change?
