My eyes open and I squint them to adjust to the brightness of the room.

'Why is there so much light, it's making my eyes hurt.'

I move with limited mobility from my neck to check out where I was moved to. It's quite messy honestly. There are bottles filled with different types of elixirs spilled onto the floor and pills strewn about on the shelves.

'everything is just so disorganized, how does she get anything done? This has to be a violation of some type of health code!'

Surveying my surroundings I completely missed a pair of black eyes observing me as well.

"You're finally awake, that's good." She says it so blandly, as if this situation does not surprise her at all. I want to respond but my mouth is so dry, and my throat stings as well when I try.
