Day 46 -72 A new Devout

Rexford spent the next hour with the help of explaining some of the darker movements and problems of Shen Junwen. Keeping the bigger ones for himself to use for blackmail later. Rumors were just rumors but when Rexford showed a few documents and emails, that made it easier.

"He is the future leader of Wanrong Group and already groomed as the head of the Family. I can't do anything against that amount of power and influence." Shen Shengkai held her head in her hands scared. "I cannot even step forward with any of this to the elders to shake his support. I am just here in the outskirts to make connections."

Just a possible cast away or someone to exploit.

"That is where we come in." Yanyan Hu smiled. Already finishing a plan to use him to deal a blow to the Su family. "It all depends if you want to do business?"

As the two talked about finer details and a ritual to prevent Shengkai from dying from the Blood Curse later, Rexford was on the fence about doing it outright so he thought of methods to remove people from it if it is used. No sense in letting an entire business structure go to waste.

Now if the Shen's played ball, of course, it would not be used altogether.

"A'Xiu, Wu Shanhe," Rexford called the two's attention. "The Black Market purchases will not go over well with the involvement of the various people. The Lady of the Sheng Family is the overall target but if you find any others worthwhile, make sure to get their information."

"Of course!" The two answered together.

After gathering all the ingredients and placing a protection mark and giving a few protection talismans, Shengkai thanked them profusely. Yanyan Hu took her as a disciple and passed a Cultivation Manual over to her.

Rexford didn't have to worry about the sincerity level since the young woman produced a silhouette inside his Internal Space that connected to Yanyan Hu. The speed at which it formed was quite something.

The surveillance went well enough according to the others. Chang Wen found the Cold Dragon Pond after running around nonstop thanks to the information provided by Wu Shanhe and Rexford's details.

She did not enter it of course and spent the rest of the time leading the martial entertainment crew around. She had a good eye for a few spots to shoot scenes they found out. Which was great as someone with an eye like that always made things better.

Rexford spent the evening making pills. With his Aspect of Nature, even though he could not form a spear for it yet like the others, he was able to identify the herbs and find ways to nurse them to better health.

The knowledge acquired from Chen Fan, who really only had info based on the cultivation world, not of Earth was filled in more. By a lot actually that Rexford actually learned more from the Aspect of Nature with his own knowledge that he knew more about earth herbs than Chen Fan.

All the seeds were planted in his Internal Space, with small bits of the water that fed into the seeds with the thick Qi entering the soil. It mostly increased the amount of land available.

Aunty Tang was awake but not moving much. The Mini which increased its size to talk with her, with the help of Sini Dova who was able to speak through the silhouette of herself inside Rexford's soul explained everything that was going on to her.

Jiang Churan was not explained to me just yet. As Rexford was using her not knowing to trap the father in what he had done. Wei Ziqing was responsible for keeping tabs on the man back in the city.

"Enough for the current plans with ease." Rexford passed some Vortex Spirit Enhancing Pills to Ji Xingyu. "Give one each to the cast and crew but make sure you explain the process of what will happen. No need to have them upset about ruined clothes."

"Understood." Ji Xingyu looked at Chang Wen who was all dressed in a formal gown. The same as A'Xiu but different colors are worn. "The Black Market, seems more like a galla than anything. Glad I don't have to go to it."

"Well, you have the responsibility of making sure everyone is safe here so that is more important." Rexford checked him over to make sure everything was ok. Ji Xingyu had definitely done well lately. "These are called Bone Remolding Pills. Taking one will make the bones soft for an hour. Which will allow for molding of it before rehardening."

The dark gray pills had a gold swirl in the center. The odor smelled like celery. Despite not having any in the mix.

"The purpose of this is?"

"In case you need to do something terrible in the future. Perfect for changing your body's structure. As well as if you need to build contacts of your own and need a disguise." Rexford clipped his cufflinks on the Armani suit he wore. "Or if you want to sell them to start a new life somewhere."

"Is this your way of sending me away?" Ji Xingyu asked angered.

"Not at all." Rexford shook his head at the young man. "I am trusting you with more so that means you get to know more." Moving to the door he stopped. "Do you not like this gift?"

"It is a little too dark for me." He passed the Bone Remolding Pills to Wu Shanhe. "I rather know more about your past. Not the Shishui County one." The cultivation he practices allows him to see more and more about his Master Rexford. Like Biao, he knew something was very different about the person they worked with and the person An Youya told them about.

*Swirl!* Deep Gold Qi swirled around Ji Xingyu. Linking his Destiny more to Rexford in a way that made the coming decisions easier to make.

"Oh, very well, After the auction, we can talk about it. But are you sure you are ready to dive that deep?" Rexford's eyes shined golden. The power of his gaze unnerved Ji Xingyu a bit. But he held firm and nodded. "You have surpassed Yang Chao, I am impressed."

"Thank you Master Mingyun!" Ji Xingyun cupped his fist in respect to him. "I rather wait till we return back home, however!"

"That is fine."

"One more request."

"Go ahead." Rexford arched a brow at him in wonder.

"You do not care if disciples date each other correct?!"

"Why the hell would I care about that?" Rexford's face scrunched up. "As long as you are not causing problems for me or yourselves go for it. Wait, better not be dating someone who has someone already. Clearly defined rules of what your relationship stands for need to be established."

"Of course not!"

"Alright have at it then." Rexford waved and left. "I wonder who he wants to date?" Those with him smiled behind his back. Already knowing who it was. "Wu Shanhe, you have some sweet thing I need to know about?"

"Hehe, no." Wu Shanhe answered embarrassed a little. "Too much traveling for that." Getting into the rented car, he drove them off. Catching the smiling two on both sides of Rexford. "What is your relationship with people?"

"An open one that way I never find myself "wanting" or "forced" to deal with certain nonsense," Rexford said simply. He received a call so he didn't go into details. "have to take this."

While Rexford was on the phone, A'Xiu and Wang Chen teased Wu Shanhe. Yanyan Hu in the passenger seat just smiling a little.

The call was from Sini Dova explaining matters in the different areas. It was a lot to go over but worthwhile information.

Arriving right on time, the five of them exited the car. The location was at Qinghu Garden. A very nice place containing a lot of space and nice scenery surrounded by trees. Security guards were throughout the place but all of them were all at the Internal Force Realm Entry Rank. Carrying a pistol each for safe measure.

A member of security stepped in front of the group.

"May I see your invitation, please." Wu Shanhee handed it over to him. The guy looked it over then at the group. Lingering looks on Chang Wen and A'Xiu. But a bit of bloodlust from Yanyan Hu made him straighten up. "Ehem, thank you, Master Wu. The master wanted to speak with you."

"The illustrious Mr.Hu is a guest for tonight isn't he?" Yanyan Hu asked for clarification. The security guard nodded as a BMW pulled up.

"You beat me here Great Master Hu!" Mr.Hu was a somewhat jolly person of means. Skirting a good line of dealing and wheeling wares. "Heard through the Grape Vine you would be here!"

The two greet each other informally. Several guests talked to them after a few moments. Rexford was responding back to a message on his phone when a small disruption happened.

"The Charlatan is no master!" A woman said from the back of the crowd. She was flanked by a few security guard members. Dressed in a purple number that was both sexy and tasteful. The leather collar around her neck carried a jewel from it, Rexford thought it odd once his eyes fixed on it.. "Humph!"

"Well, definitely a fiery thing." Rexford smirked. Despite her outward appearance, she exuded a deep Fear. The thought of losing someone who was so precious to her was on her mind every waking moment. 'I just want her even more now. But have to play this out some.'

"Who are you calling.. fiery.." Lady Sheng made eye contact with Rexford. The golden glow of his eyes stopped her from speaking fully. Coupled with the fact she remembered him a few weeks ago running from Xu Ao's forces in the city and giving her a card before taking off again. ".. you're him."

Lady Sheng's cheeks started to redden remembering his unshirt body. The fact that he was able to get away from those of Xu Ao impressed her. In fact, he looked even better than back then.

*Bwoom!* A small wave of qi spread in the area.

"You never called me, such a shame." Rexford closed the distance between the two cupping her face. Her guards were stuck in his Gravity well and couldn't move an inch. "Looking a little tired. Here is a little medicine for you."

Placing some Spirit Enhancing Pills in her hand, he moved away. Reluctant to do so but this was not the time considering the people involved. As well as the feeling in his chest.

"Why didn't you push it a little more?" Wu Shanhe asked while they moved inside.

"Something starting stirring inside me. I am breaking into the Innate Realm. I thought I suppressed it well enough." Rexford answered. He then spoke to the Mini to see what was going on the moment he sat down. 'Spill it pint-size me.'

"Don't blame me! Blame Aunty Tang! She signed a contract and then this blasted tree sprouted up in the garden!" The Mini shouted while pointing at Aunty Tang that sat criss-cross in front of a large tree. "The Internal Space is increasing really fast! Like stupid fast! We need the Breakthrough to handle it!"

"How in the blazes could Aunt Tang cause this?!" Rexford grabbed the Mini by the face shaking it. "She doesn't even cultivate yet!"

"She became a natural Devout!" The Mini gripped while being shook wildly. "Ask Sini Dova what's going on! They had a talk when I checked on something!" Not like he could be aware of everything at all times. "If you weren't interested in this woman it would not have happened most likely! Sometimes it is better to let someone die or get maimed!"

Those who came with in his camp felt a slight pressure that was hard to explain.
