Day 150- 200 Sishui County Part 23 Attack on the Lu Family

The Natural Spiritual Tree Core was something Rexford wanted from the Medicine God Valley for his Nature Aspect and the tree he had growing inside him. The silhouette of Aunt Tang and Sini Dova spent a good bit of time around it since they formed and he had a gut feeling something had to happen with it.

The cultivator known as Blood Blade was easy to find and exchanging the Egyptian Idol for a few pills was easy before hand. Which was the other reason Rexford left the rest of the events to the others to deal with.

As Richard dealt with the Medicine God Valley situation, Rexford spent time with the Lu Family fixing a few of the business deals. Lu Yanwu was a wiz in regards to knowing what everyone was up to in the area.

So much so that he was able to relax enough to do a few corrections only and checks for potential issues, Lu Tianfeng went into secluded cultivation to fix all his physical and mental issues and to contemplate his new role as an Agent of Mingyun Rexford.

Wrapped by the Gold Destiny Qi, the man's life was completely ensnared to Rexford's. He was no longer going to die this go around. Well not so easily and would have a better cultivation than he did before.

"This idol is freaky.." Lu Yanwu was a little intimidated by it. The formation on the ground barely having eased her fears when Rexford took it back out. "..do we really need to do this?"

"Yes, it will be a great experience for you." Rexford already wrapped her in his Gold Destiny QI before pushing his Divine Sense into the idol. The wings on the idol seemed to move as pure Mental Qi pushed out. "The power of Faith.. in person to witness."

*Woom!* Transported to a distance-time and place, Rexford and Lu Yanwu were in a desert. Unleashing his cultivation of Earth, the Black Gold Sun Art grew exponentially under the effects.

Lu Yanwu held his hand tightly to keep from falling under the compulsion of worship. Countless men and women kneeled in the sand offering up worship to a bird head person with a golden staff.

"A Champion.." The bird head squeaked out. It was preparing to assault but stopped at the last instance. "..The feel of Rhea comes off you and something more, however."

"Yeah, so it is good you can speak despite being just a Soul Remnant." Having boosted it with his own Rich Qi, the Remnant was stronger but it would fade of course. "If you make a Deal with me, your.. people in Egypt can be spared future atrocities."

"Future atrocities..." Lu Yanwu shivered just a bit in fear. She made sure not to let go just in case. 'Those people are still giving prayers. He said this would be an illusion but.. I can feel the heat of the sun from above and the sand brush against my skin.'

"In return... I get what?"

"Your people you influenced and messed with get better, what more could a remnant want?" Rexford's eyes narrowed. Another Deity not doing its job and looking for something. "You and the others that fled to Tianhung.. you turned your back on Earth just because a problem developed with Qi! You left little to no defenses behind and half-ass techniques with no guidance for the people!"

Offended, the false deity attack after gathering it's Worship energy. The control it had over Space was enough to allow it take power from a different reality. But with Rexford pulling his Qi back, it was gone in an instant

"Oof!" Lu Yanwu was back and no longer in a daze. Moved out of the Formation, she looked at Rexford who remained inside. "Will he be ok I wonder?" Something inside her said he would be.

*Boom!* Muffled explosion erupted from Rexford's body. His clothing burned away as the Black Gold Sun tattoo appeared further. It started to turn on his back under the same speed as the Black Gold Vortex.

In the brief time, Lu Yanwu was removed from the visions, Rexford had explained blows with the false deity.

"Humph!" With a turn of the body, he summoned the Aspect spear of Fear. Something that immediately caused a change in the environment. The people who gave Worship energy started to revolt and attack soldiers who appeared. "What in the blazes?"

"Caww!" The idol let loose a cry as it attacked. The waves of Mental Assualt hammered against Rexford but he cut through before dizziness could overtake him. Swinging the staff, it clashed against the spear.

Rexford punched and hit the bottom of the beak. Cracking it was his fist. His Divine Sense caught a change in the feathers of the birdman. They shout out and tried to stab Rexford in the back but melt from the intense heat produced.

"Die!" Rexford pushed the staff away and double gripped his spear. Using Gravity, he pulled this enemy into his assault with the weapon. Stab after stab tore away at the defenses. 'The more Fear produced, the easier it is to cut him!'

In less than a minute, the bout was over.

"You fled and abandoned your people.... disgusting." Rexford had a face of absolute disgust on his face. Spear twisting in the chest of the idol and taking away the worship energy inside. "I hope if I ever meet the real Ra he is nothing the Ra of this Dimension. It just won't sit right with me if he is just like you."

"He.. he.. kuff!" Spitting blood into the sand, the False Deity had a glassy look in its eyes. "War.. will keep you from protecting them.. the same.. as we. couldn't. That is why .. we fled Earth.. no way to get stronger.."

There was no conflict as Rexford knew what the Destiny of Earth in the future still. The numbers that die from the invading cultivators that pretended to be Deity's were high as they killed indiscriminately.

"Shame.." Rexford pulled out his gun, he made a few changes since killing the punks before. Killing the Remnant completely would do much for testing of higher up creatures. "..I can feel your Fear .. it is strong."

Rexford's Transcendent Realm was already above any normal cultivator of Earth and stronger than his Xiatian Immortal Cultivation. Despite the equivalency of them for other people. Right before he pulled the trigger, a black hand reached out snatching away the idol and the False Deity.

"The Unending Army..." The death scream of the Remnant was enough to send chills down his spine. Especially since he knew it was the full end for it. "... monstrous.."

The wings of the birdman was engulfed in Black Qi. The features turn into a silhouette of its former self before vanishing from sight completely.

As reality returned to normal, the people and the desert itself were all pulled into Rexford's Internal Space. Increasing the area by adding sand for one, but also confused people.

"What the hell am I going to do with these people?" The Champion was a little bothered by them and could only leave the situation for later. 'The Mini can deal with them with the others.'

Returning and stepping out of the Formation, Rexford was assaulted by a weird force in his Body. The Worship energy was mixing into his Earth Cultivation. The secrets of the Transcendent Realm mapping out to him further.

"Oh.. no.." Unable to contain it anymore, he pushed into the Divine Realm. "Lu Yanwu, I am going to break through, do keep this quiet from anyone!" A few shifts of the Formation and the protection increased. 'Sini Dova, you are in charge as I will not be available!'

Giving the verbal order and the mental order, Rexford started to cultivate on the spot. The Black Gold Vortex thrumming with power.

Lei Qianjue and his disciples arrived in China and headed towards the Lu family compound. The guards were doing drills while the strongest were on watch. Never having met the people they were employed by before, they were no that sad about changing bosses. Especially when finding out the pay increase and benefits of working for the new Master.

Supervisor guard Yong was the first among the guards to detect the problem. But members of the Lu Family already came out to greet the problem.

Lu Yanxue and Lu Haixuan came out cordially. The latter was more reluctant to get involved as he was scared. But Lu Yanxue who was just in the Foundation Establishment Realm after having her Potential Unlocked was more sure of herself.

'Lu Yanxue and Lu Yanwu have shined so much lately, let's see how they deal with this problem!' Lu Haixuan was so jealous it was ridiculous. Even the guards were working harder than the pampered young master! 'If he takes her out before Rexford gets involved, I can maneuver this in my favor!'

"A little girl of the Lu family thinks she can stand up to a Grandmaster, how interesting." Lei Qianjue stroked his beard in surprise. Looking to his disciple Lin Hong, he took into account that he looked to only be paying attention somewhat.

"Stand up to means you have come for a fight, that would be stupid." Lu Yanxue shook her head captivating a few of the guards with her beauty. "Came out to greet you as a sign of respect. It is not a secret that Master Mingyun allowed Lin Hu to escape to showcase his mercy and because he valued him as a potential disciple.'

"What!?"

"Are you saying this Mingyun can guide him better than me?" Lei Qianjue exerted his pressure but it brush off Lu Yanxue easily to everyone's eyes. It in fact took all of her Qi to resist it."You have some skill. Let this elder test you in place of your master."

Using his Qi threads that were condensed over and over thousands of times, the Cold Qi embedded inside made up for quantity through quality. The North Pole was a very natural cold atmosphere after all.

"This Chilly Qi will turn you into a block of ice if you can't resist it."

"That the best you got old man?" Lu Yanxue taunted the Grandmaster causing others to almost faint from fear. One just does not do that and expects to live. "Getting beat and you only amount to this much, Lin Hu would be better to lead your little Sect anyway."

Enraged by the youngster, Lei Qianjue used a little more effort as he pointed two fingers at her. With the Fear and Violence Qi kicking to a good point, Rexford made his move. Via Divine Sense sucking everything up in an instance while striking for the shadows.

*Woosh!* The moment afterward, before he could try again, black and gold hands flicked the Grandmaster into the air like a bug.

"Master!" Everyone shouted in surprise but Lin Hu who cupped his fists greeting the person who stepped out of a black opening of space.

"You have made your decision I take it?" Rexford had more control and didn't come out looking anything but human when stepping through. 'Richard's understanding of Transformation and Wormhole's helped a lot. I still have a long way to go, however to make it my own.'

"Of course, my master's arrogance only caused problems for the Sect. We could have just had a sit-down but he refused to listen beforehand." Lin Hu stood up tall with no issue from what happened. His doubt was clear after the time spent in reflection from the last time they met. "My apologies for his actions, he is still upset that I was unable to defeat you among other things."

"Pride cometh before the fall and all that." Rexford looked to the sky were Lei Qianjue was knocked around back and forth. The hands formed into fists or into chops keeping him unbalanced. "To start trouble in a residential area... does the older generation not care about repair costs?"

"My former Master is one of those who see regular people like ants.. not the nurturing type like yourself." Lin Hu responded.

"Nuturing.. I just rather not kill everyone like some nut job. Unless I really have to of course. Then again.." He thought about the punks and rapists he killed lately while experimenting on his abilities. They just didn't count and were far from innocent bystanders anyway. "Take a look around, the regular guards have cleared out the civilians and the cultivators are the only ones in the vicinity."

The Lu family was a pretty strong family and once someone like Lei Qianjue was spotted, a few people went into action. From firemen and policemen to low government officials clearing the area further.

"Haa, this is too much at once!" Lu Yunwu had run down after Rexford disappeared in the middle of their work. She was a little out of breath considering she had been working non stop. "Lu Yanxue, you look just as beat as me!"

"Hehe, I was asked to speak with Lei Qianjue while you were busy." Drinking some water, the cool sensation in her body was still growing as her Qi rose. "Lu Haixuan was supposed to help but.. he didn't."

Looking to her cousin who just a few days ago stood at a higher position than her, Yunxue felt a thrill in the fact he was experiencing the situation she grew up with the majority of her life. But she did not dwell on it to long as work was to be done to improve herself like so many others.

"He will be punished for his cowardice." Lu Yunwu gathered enough from the guards on what happened. Before they would cover for any member of the main branch if told to, but with Rexford changing "policy" so to speak, they wouldn't dare lie. "Take him to confinement and let none allow him to leave!"
