The next day, as the group awoke, they noticed Ethan's absence. Concern etched their faces as they searched the camp, their voices calling out his name. After a thorough search yielded no results, they realized Ethan had vanished without a trace.

Baffled and worried, Arthur, Gavin, and Marcus gathered around the campfire, their worried gazes meeting one another. Arthur broke the uneasy silence, his voice filled with concern. "Where could he have gone? And why would he leave without a word?"

Gavin chimed in, his brow furrowed with worry. "Perhaps he stumbled upon something in the forest? It's unlike Ethan to vanish like this."

Marcus nodded in agreement, his voice laced with apprehension. "We must find him. Splitting up and searching the forest may be our best course of action. He couldn't have gone far."

"It seems your friends have entered the forest, young one," the spirit said. "Their concern for you is evident."

"then I guess I have to go, thank you for everything", Ethan bid farewell to the guardian spirit and then left the magic chamber.

As Ethan was retracing his steps back, he started thinking about what his excuse for disappearance should be, an excuse formed in his minds. He would attribute his absence to a brief scouting expedition, hoping they would believe it. Lost in thoughts, he was suddenly ambushed by a group of ogres, he then realized that this would be a perfect opportunity to try out his new earth magic.

"Earth magic, stone projectiles", Ethan said with excitement and right after, stone projectiles formed out of thin air and shot at the ogres, killing some of them, but not giving the ogres time to retaliate, he conjured another spell, "Earth magic, earth bind", he raised his hands, summoning stalwart stone pillars that emerged from the ground, effectively trapping and immobilizing the ogres.

He continued trying as many different earth magic spells that he could suffice with his current amount of mana.
