With God and Anime on his side- Oh and some spotty game knowledge- he must forge his own path. But first. He needs to get through this damned tutorial in one piece, and figure out how his damned spell works. New Chapters are posted Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 6 PM EST. -------- Cover Art is done by my wonderful friend Caneera you can find her at https://caneera.carrd.co/ for all types of commissions. This is a story I've decided to write because my endless fantasies of chuunibyou like proportions could not stay in my head any longer. I've just wanted to make a story I can make some cringe jokes in and this is the result. I really do hope people will enjoy it as I really do enjoy writing it, and will keep writing it. If you can catch some of the references I would love to hear it. Love and Peace! Just not in this story. If you would like to read ahead, you can find my patreon at the end of any of the chapters! At patreon com/Arthur_Inverse I will be publishing this on Amazon under the pen name Arthur Inverse or Richard Fuerle. At least I will as soon as KDP support recognizes I am the author and not trying to steal my own work... I would like to also mention that, this is essentially unedited work for now. More edited versions are on scribblehub. Discord: https://discord.com/invite/jJw54jd2GX

Chapter 1Chapter One: Welcome.

As a light blue screen floated in front of him gingerly. His brows scrunched in confusion as he looked at it. A single bold word in the middle of it.

Welcome.

"This isn't what I was watching… Where did this screen come from?" Drake questioned. His gaze brought again to the subtly bobbing screen in front of him. Taking better notice of the screen, at the bottom of the it there was a small white blinking arrow prompting him to continue.

"Oh.. I kinda don't like that.. I've seen one too many movies like this," Drake muttered.

Trying to quickly get up from his sitting position, he actually noticed that he was actually sitting in a comfortable office like chair, taken aback.

"I should have been in bed laying down and watching my late night… show…"

And why is it so chilly in here? He pondered trying to take stock. Ignoring the screen still prompting him to continue, almost seeming to blink more aggressively in his peripheral. Drake began to pat himself down. It seemed impossible but it looked like he had been moved somehow into this white non-descript room.

Moving from his head, down his body he embarrassedly stopped at his pants. Or his lack thereof. "Shit I'm pantsless? Hey! Whoever you are! You didn't even have the decency to clothe me when you kidnapped me!?" he shouted into the air at nothing in particular, but he hoped someone would hear him and give him some answers.

The room he was in didn't seem to have any doors. And definitely no windows, which was another confusing thing to add to the list of rather confusing things, as there was light but no light sources that he could find.

"Did one of my brothers put you up to this!? I know my birthday is coming up soon but this goes way beyond a joke! Hello?!" Drake continued to shout for a few minutes. Eventually devolving into loud insults and indecencies. Finally resorting to just screaming at the top of his lungs as no one answered him. Until he ran out of energy and slid down against a wall to sit.

After a few minutes of being slumped against a wall, his head tiled back staring into space, a bell sounded in Drake's head, followed by a mechanical female voice.

[Welcome. New Persons' to the integration of your world into the fused world 7.515e14. You will have the following hour to go through the introduction before the initial tutorial commences. May you gain insight, power, and renown. And most importantly survive.]

The voice said coldly, only adding to the ominous and confusing pit forming in Drake's stomach.

The bell and voice faded from inside Drake's head as his vision panned down from the ceiling, focusing on the light blue screen, a new white timer counting down on the top right of it.

[Time Remaining until Initiation: 59 Minutes, 45 Seconds]

"Ahh…. I've definitely seen this movie before… And I really don't want to see what happens when the timer runs out if I don't finish..." he wearily chuckled pressing the continue button on the screen.

Quinlan, a simple office worker finds himself transmigrated to an extremely dangerous fantasy land as a level 1 Commoner with nothing to his name but his wits - and a unique gift that accompanied his teleportation. No one in Thalorind could have predicted that this unassuming arrival would one day rise to the top, redefining the very meaning of the term 'power'... And that he may have achieved said result by joining a criminal organization and clawing his way through its ranks. In the beginning, Quinlan was painfully weak and alone but thanks to his severe trust issues, joining a team was... hard. However, he soon noticed that a lot of people have collars around their necks in this world... People that couldn't exactly betray him. Follow Quinlan's journey as he grows in strength, amasses wealth, fights to the death, and meets lovely ladies. ... Discord: https://discord.gg/bjunEkswQ3 ... After writing over 750 chapters, here’s what you should know: 1. About the beginning: The early chapters are a bit rough. I'm not saying that it's horrible, in fact, I believe the story to be very enjoyable right from chapter 1. But, at the end of the day, this is my first original novel, and I stumbled in some areas, especially with the MC's attitude. He's too reserved and occasionally too "simpy" with the first female lead. However, the MC grows into a confident, powerful, and composed figure. No long-term cringe. He becomes the kind of MC you want to root for. 2. Quinlan’s morality: He’s not a cruel, sadistic villain. Most of the time, he won't even be acting like a real villain, only when pushed to the limit. Meaning he won't torture puppies or civilians for fun while cackling manically. However, he’s greedy, shameless, and opportunistic. If the lives of his loved ones are at stake and he can only save them by burning a city with innocents inside down, he’ll do it. He's ruthless toward strangers when necessary, but doesn't delight in cruelty. 3. Regarding slaves: Yes, Quinlan becomes a slave master. However, he treats all his women—free or enslaved—with care and respect. 4. More than smut: Every love interest has a real story, a real presence. No girl will be left behind. As of Chapter 750, Quinlan has 7 lovers and a few more "in-development" love interests. This is not a "catch them all" story, adding one girl every 20 chapters. I prefer harems made up of girls with richly developed characters over giant harems full of shallow ladies. Quality over Quantity. 5. Balanced storytelling: My aim was to create a work where romance, action, and slice-of-life blend together naturally. There’s high-stakes action, power progression, romantic developments, comedy, and some chill downtime to let both the characters and the readers breathe. 6. Weak-to-Strong Progression: Quinlan will become OP. But he rises slowly, not overnight. His journey will hopefully feel earned. 7. Not every female character listed in the fandom is a love interest: Some women are important to the plot but are not part of the harem or a planned to be, such as his two mothers. 8. No Yuri. No NTR. That's it, thank you for taking your chance on my novel! I'll make a promise to you, showing how much I believe you'll love the novel if you get over the somewhat bumpy beginning! If you read 750 chapters and hate the story even after investing so much time into it, then you may burn me alive!

Level 1 to Infinity: My Bloodline Is the Ultimate Cheat!

They shattered his life. Now, he’ll break the world. Ethan had it all, until his best friend and the woman he loved betrayed him, leaving him crippled and forgotten. Three years of suffering later, he clawed his way to one final, desperate act… and the universe answered. A hidden quest. A second chance. A return to the moment everything began. Now, Ethan is back, on the eve of Ethereal’s launch, the world’s first fully immersive VR game and the battlefield where legends are forged. Last time, he played fair. This time? He’s armed with years of knowledge: every exploit, every secret quest, every broken mechanic that will let him climb straight to the top. But when he logs in, something is off. The system forces him into an unwanted class—Druid, the game’s biggest joke. The kind of class people pick as a dare and regret immediately. Yet as Ethan digs deeper, the truth shakes him. [Congratulations! You have unlocked the Divine Bloodline: King of Elves!] Ethan stared at the screen, unblinking. “…The hell?” The Druid class was a jack-of-all-trades, master of none—a scattered mess of abilities that mimicked other classes but never truly excelled. Their bear form lacked the raw defense of a proper tank. Their panther form was weaker than a rogue. Their healing fell short of a priest, and their magic couldn’t compare to a mage’s devastating spells. Most players abandoned the class early, realizing they could never compete at the highest level. And yet, Ethan’s stats are off the charts. His talents are absurd. His potential is beyond anything he’s ever seen. The system has given him something no other Druid ever had—a divine bloodline, legendary abilities, and a growth rate that defies logic. If Druids were meant to be weak, then Ethan was the exception that would rewrite history. He’s not just here to reclaim his throne. He’s here to take everything. Factions will rise. Empires will fall. The strongest will thrive, and the weak will perish. And the ones who betrayed him? They won’t live to do it again.

Drake is extremely relatable to how I would react in such a situation (which may or may not be terrible) but his off-hand comments and sayings really got a few good laughs out of me. I have not read all the way, but I found myself already glued reading past my expected appointment time, to the point where I had to keep reading even while I was meeting others. All the usual tropes is there, and it worked without a hitch. Great progression, great character. I love the singular focus on Drake along with sparse chapters on other viewpoints. Not too pushy, but enough to keep the reader aware of the other players around Drake as well. Style: The humour and flow of the story is great, it really makes for a simple nice easy read. So far nothing that really throws off the pacing of the story ( except the namesake of the novel, hint hint) The way he describes the battle is great as well, just enough details for the readers to visualize and feel like they were Drake, fighting off the same monsters. Story: I've read up to Chapter 27. But so far it's been pretty great, with all the interesting interactions between Drake and people he meet along the way that I felt the need to review this so others can see it. The item descriptions are also hilarious. I always love 'Systems' that flame the owner or user. The way he scuffles with the skills and item drops that he gets is extremely interesting and gets a good laugh out of me all the time. Grammar: No major flaws, and no minor problems either. Nothing broke the flow at which I read, and that's a big plus! Character: Oh Drake you silly boy. I love all his wild-card like antics, and the light-hearted view that he adopts when going through the world. But when it comes down to the nitty gritty, Drake really does deliver the hardwork and focus on goals to overcome or surpass others. Something worthy of admiring in a main character, and it makes the reader want to support him from their hearts. Overall, a great read. I think I'm going to end the review here and keep reading, because it's that fluid of a read. Great job!
