Cujo took an assumption that this bat person was the father of the boy, and that the father must be crazy and forcing the child to jump off building to building to fulfill his crazy ass superhero agenda, Cujo couldn't let this insane father have this innocent child.

Cujo went towards the bat person who was now looking down onto his child

Cujo slowly woke up, he tried breathing through his nose, but he could barely do it,
