Dragon Lord of Starling City

「 Hiatus 」 Rebirth, Reincarnation, Transmigration. Caden was killed in cold blood as he slept, on the night of his late parent's wedding anniversary, by the very same man who killed them on his birthday when he was only five years old. He had only been fifteen years old at the time of his death. Given a choice of what he wished to become, he admired those who could fly, he loved the stories of dragons, and he was infatuated with the Arrowverse television series on the CW. And so... He chose to become a Dragon Lord, a powerful mythological being, an Alpha of his kind. His very essence materialized upon the gravesite of Oliver and Robert Queen in the year 2010, two years before the emergence of the Hood. The body of the draconic being was endowed with powerful magical energies far beyond his initial comprehension.

The Dealio

Caden entered the Queen Mansion, it was oddly quiet as Thea was probably out partying on her own. He wasn't much of a big party person despite the fact that he had gone to Tommy's and had a good time. His eyes rested on a feast of footprints on the wood floor.

"Who the hell didn't wipe their boots..." Letting out a sigh, he would walk over to a linen closet and grab the mop and began to go over the wood floor. He pressed the trigger and sprayed the wood before wiping away the dirt and grim.

He was wearing a pastel blue turtleneck and a pair of black cargo pants and Nike sneakers. His eyes glanced over towards the stairwell which the footprints seem to end.

His eye twitched slightly, his forked tongue flicking out as he took in his surroundings. He could smell a handful of people, one of them smelling similar to that of Laurel. They were definitely related, which meant one thing, they were the Legends or at least one of them was none other than Sara Lance in her white jumpsuit.

The whites of his eyes turned black and his irises began to glow.

Placing one foot onto the stairs, a creaking sound emanated throughout the corridors and common room. As he then proceeded to push his foot down even further, his body lowering as he prepped for a leap.

In the moment that he did that, Snart came around the corner with his cold gun and aimed and primed. "Freeze!"

Caden came to a stop the moment he heard Snart's voice and smirked softly. He knew he had been where he was. He turned his head and looked towards the eskimo and lulled his head to the side lazily. "Hello Leonard, good to see you alive..."

Rip Hunter stepped out of the commons room and Sara Lance made her appearance at the top of the stairs.

Looking around the room, he pursed his lips slightly. Rory he knew was in the kitchen, Ray he was hovering around the room in a tiny form of his own. He couldn't help but grin slightly at this.

"Shouldn't you be chasing after Vandal Savage?" Caden asked as he looked over the Englishman who didn't seem all too amused to see him.

Rip tilted his head slightly like a pigeon hearing him speak of the arch-nemesis and man who killed his wife and son. The fact that the man who was standing before him knew of his mission, made him curious. "Just who are you? What time are you from?" He said as he stepped forward, glaring at him, noticing the whites of his eyes being black. "What are you?"

"What exactly are the Legends doing here?" Caden retorted, responding with a question of his own as he was ready to fight back. Though it was likely he would use lethal force on them, they were a needed force to be reckoned with.

Rip seemed rather impressed that the boy knew who they were, but that's when he got a call from Gideon. "It appears the senior Time Masters are dead..." He said as he looked up at the boy who was standing on a stair above them. "Killed by the Orphan, who was then killed by someone identifying themselves as Caden Price, who was killed in January 2010, at fifteen years old."

Sara who was standing at the top of the staircase stared down at the boy. "I saw that on an old Newspaper..." She looked over Caden for a moment, then narrowed on his eyes. "Are you really that kid?"

"Why are you here...?" Caden asked in response to the question once again, ignoring Rip's report to the rest of the Legions which were all now converging on the room if they weren't in there already.

"You're not supposed to be here, Caden." Rip Hunter stated with what appeared to be a solemn tone. "You're supposed to be dead. According to the timeline, your resurface aligns with permanent damage to the timeline and Oliver never becomes the Green Arrow."

The boy shook his head slightly hearing this, they saw him as an aberration to the timeline. Though when they had said that he was averting Oliver becoming the Green Arrow, he lowered his eyes slightly. "It's not like you can kill me, but how will you stop me from killing?"

Rip blinked hearing the boy ask a question that showed he could be reasoned with.

However there was nothing they believed they could do in order to stop him from killing more. They could go back in time, reason with him before he slaughtered the mob family.

Sara became to descend from the top of the staircase, as she was about to pass him, she attempted to jab in him the side. Her goal was the knock him unconscious, instead, she found his hand parrying hers away and sending her off balance.

Caden began to display footwork similar to Damien Darhk, taking her by the arm as she was falling and palming her shoulder thrice. Her arm was dislocated and she was sent to the ground with a thud.

She however didn't stay down long and quickly got to her feet. The Legends gave the boy room, an open circle. "You've got to be kidding me," Sarah uttered as she snapped her arm back into place with the help of the foyer wall.

Caden could hear the humming of the weapons owned by Rory and Snart, the smell of frost and heat. He closed his eyes and sighed, opening his eyes again as his pupils became reptilian slits.

"What the?!" Rory was the first to jump at the fact that his eyes didn't appear humans, he took a step forward ready to blast'em sky high with his flame gun.

His transformation wasn't done, he continued to show more and more of his draconic features. His arms, like dead skin, dropped to the ground as if he shedded skin. Soon enough his entire human body was just a husk on the ground.

Rip Hunter and the crew all stared at the pile of skin which now seemed to encampus his remains. "What in the... World?"

"Jefferson, let's get a closer look, shall we?" The old man Professor Stein, dressed in his stylish black turtleneck and slacks, walked out from behind the rest of them and knelt down to the remains. He picked up the 'skin' that was once the turtleneck the boy wore.

Jefferson, wearing a yellow-orange shirt and tan dress shorts, came chasing after the Professor without avail. "Grey! That's not safe man!"

Stein held it up to the light and stared at it, he was quickly able to tell it was reptilian in nature. "This is most Astonishing!"

"What are you talking about, Professor?" Rip asked as he began to walk over then paused when he saw movement in the mound of skin. He drew his laser gun and aimed it as he saw two small arctic blue eyes glowing beneath the organic matter.

Within moments the small dragon was seen hovering out from beneath the skin, directly in Stein's face. "Meow," the dragon flicked out its tail which caused the professor to quickly double back in a crab walk after falling backward in surprise.

"Is that a ... Dragon?" Leonard Snart said as he raised his goggles and stared at the creature.

Rory himself seemed a bit more excited than before. It was clear he rather liked the idea of a Dragon, and here there was one, a true fire breathing dragon. "Where's its legs and wings?" The closer he observed it, "It's a flying snake..." Rory suddenly seemed disappointed at the fact that it wasn't the kind of Dragon he was thinking of.

"Jade Dragon," Sara stated as she looked over at Rory who raised a brow, nodding slightly as he quickly understood what she was saying.

"He didn't look Chinese to me," Rory grunted as he lowered his flame throwing weapon. Though he was still disappointed, he was still rather interested in the creature. "Do you spit fi–" He was cut off by the greenish blue flame that burst from its mouth when Caden sneezed. "Niiiiiice!"

"Aren't we here to correct a problem in the timeline?" Rip asked as he looked at his team whom were not engaging the Dragon. It wasn't attacking them, it only reacted to Sara's preemptive strike.

"You want me to let the timeline go as it was meant to, right?" Caden asked as he would swirl around in the air, as if chasing his tail. Though he was being rather anticlimactic about it, as he'd coil up on the top of Rory's head.

Rory was slowly raising his weapon towards his head, Snart just reached over and swatted his hand down. "Hey!"

"Seriously Mick?" Snart snapped with a scowl on his face, he couldn't believe Heat Wave was about to roast his own head because there was a dragon perched there.

Both Rip and Sara stared at the Dragon which remained on the man's head. "Yes," they stated in near unison, to the point that their voices unevenly overlapped. It sounded oddly harmonic, which made the dragon snicker in its serpentine form.

"Tell me the conditions the timeline needs to meet. Think of me as... A Guardian for this endeavour." He was well aware that Oliver Queen was necessary for the survival of multiple people, this included the Flash and Kara Danvers from Earth-38.

"Conditions...?" Mick and Snart looked at the Dragon as if it was stranger than it already was. It was asking what conditions needed to be fulfilled in order to keep things going the way they should?

Rip saw how the Dragon seemed to follow a logical approach rather than forcing them to act against it. In this case it appeared that the Dragon would listen to instructions, or at least a series of conditions that needed to be met.

The first condition was obviously to abandoned the mass murdering of the people on the List. He had already eliminated quite a handful of people, who were just simply affiliated with those people. It appeared he even killed regular villains who killed people, who were essentially supposed to have been killed or incarcerated by others.

The second condition was that he was not to kill a certain list of essential people, interfere with the rise of the Hero known as the Flash, or any others aside from the Huntress who he had already killed.

However as they were coming up with the other several conditions which were generally meant for him to stay away from certain people and things, and to keep his mouth shut.

The Dragon spoke up, "How about I weave a contract, sign it, and then you go back in time... To right before I go on a murder spree with Damien Darhk, and give the contract to me then. I know that should you do this, I will probably go about things slightly differently."

Rip Hunter's eye seemed to twitch at the tone of the dragon. It sounded as if he thought the timeline was just a game. It was ultimately create a paradox, as they would have never come to get the contract in the first place.

"My magic is temporal-immune. That's why reversing time, saving someone from death by my flame, doesn't save them. The Time Masters figured that out rather quickly when they tried to erase me with the Orphan."

Rip Hunter paused when he brought up the Orphan. They had tried to have him erased? Why'd they send an assassin that wasn't equipped for this? Did they not know he was a Dragon, or did they think the gun would work? Why didn't they eliminate the boy when he was human... Wait, Rip looked over the Dragon for a moment before nodding to himself.

It was likely that they tried to eliminate him as a human, succeeded, but he still appeared anyway. That could be the reason why he had died in the first place, they likely used the MO of a serial killer to cover the tracks!

"So we've been told by the Time Masters interim council that took over, you killed her after she came back and uncharacteristically executed her own Masters." Rip said with a small smirk forming ver his lips as he was easily unraveling Caden's little scheme. He already knew about the timeship in Thea's room as Sara had found it, though they left it alone since it was shrunk too small to use.

"It would still be a Paradox..." Rip Hunter would scratch his head slightly. "If your magic, or you yourself are temporal-immune, wouldn't that mean there would be duplicates of you?"

The Dragon just sat there, it had no idea what would happen really. From what he had witnessed with the time phenomena from earlier, it appeared that no matter how much was changed, he didn't change.

"I really have no idea how it works," Caden huffed with a small poof of flame. "Then just draw up the conditions on a piece of paper. I'll look at it later," he threw away the idea of making a contract and lifted himself off of Mick Rory's shaved head and made its way into the Kitchen.

By the time he came back with a piece of bread in his mouth, the Legends were gone without a trace, all except for the stack of papers. He just stared at the pile and shook his head slightly. "I said a piece..." He nommed away at the bread and flopped on top of the papers as he'd return to his human form, before picking them up and walking to Theas room to hide them away in the timeship.
