Chapter 55

Nojiko told the rest of Hakai's crew what he said and together, they started freeing the slaves and leading them onto the ship.

Like Hakai predicted, the slaves were thankful, many of them crying with tears of joy as they hugged their loved ones.

"What did Hakai say after we've collected all the slaves? This looks like all of them."

Nojiko shrugged. "He just said to stay on the ship after."

"Time to stretch my legs. It's kind of cramped always being in a human body."

Hakai's form grew as scales grew on his body, growing to a gigantic size as he transformed to his true dragon form.

He transported his clothes into his storage so as to not rip and destroy them.

Hakai wasn't the only thing that grew. Musabori, his Zanpakuto also grew.

Musabori floated in the air beside Hakai's shoulder.

In his dragon form, Hakai charged up the energy in his mouth and fired a black beam at the castle.

The attack was devastating and left the castle in ruins, killing anyone that was still in it.

Unfortunately, the Five Elders detected this attack immediately. The power that they felt was enough to make them sweat, but they acted accordingly, escaping the castle through the numerous secret pathways that lead out of the castle.

The World Government was confident in their strength, but they were still smart enough to set up a plan B, or a last resort getaway.

"What was that thing?" one of the elders asked.

"Was that a devil fruit? And it seems to be similar to one of the Yonko's fruits."

"Similar, yes, but only in appearance. The strength of that beam had the possibility of killing or seriously injuring us."

"We must look into this Hakai person. For now, let's leave. Im has already left, and it's safe to say that Mary Geoise is done for and that we have been humiliated."

"It is a shame, but we can easily rebuild."

And so, the Five Elders took the secret pathway that would lead to a place in Fish-Man Island that contained a ship that was already coated.

Hakai's attack didn't actually kill anyone as most of the Celestial Dragons had evacuated or went to the special bunkers made of Seastone deep inside the Red Line.

"No fair!" a voice yelled out making Hakai turn his head.

"How come you get to have fun as a dragon? I wanna join too," Makino said in her dragon form.

Kaya, Nojiko, and Robin joined in transforming into dragons while Hancock stared in shock. "My husband is... a dragon?!"

"He's better than those Celestial Dragons calling themselves one even though they aren't!"

Some World Government guards that had been lucky enough to not be killed but we're instead knocked out witnessed the sight of 5 dragons flying in the sky and the reporter also woke up from being unconscious and promptly took pictures.

"Uoooh! Dragons! They're really dragons!"

After showcasing to the world their strength and that they were dragons, they returned to the ship where Hancock was pouting.

"This isn't fair. How come you are all dragons? I'm the only one left out."

Hakai laughed. "Don't worry. I can turn you into one. Just be patient. Anyway, we're done here for now, but there's just one last thing to do."

Hakai began charging the cannon at the front of the ship. After it was done charging, Hakai fired it right at the center of Mary Geoise creating a large explosion that wiped out Mary Geoise on the Red Line.

This was another show to their strength and it wouldn't take long before news got out of what happened.

After the attack of Mary Geoise, a few months passed and Hakai's name grew in fame during these few months.

Stories of how his entire crew were dragons were spread around.

Currently, he was located in the New World on one of his territories. That's right, his power was so strong that the Marines labelled him as dangerous and on par with the 4 Yonkos effectively making him the 5th Yonko of the New World.

It wasn't wrong to label him as dangerous as when the Marines arrived at Mary Geoise, they saw nothing. Absolutely nothing, only a giant crater was left of Mary Geoise and once the news got out that the Dragon Pirates were responsible for this and that they destroyed Mary Geoise single-handedly, the world went crazy.

It didn't take long before evidence was released. Pictures of Hakai fighting, and him and his crew in dragon form. It also got out that Hancock has resigned her position as a Warlord of the Sea and joined Hakai's crew.

She also changed these past months. Like the rest of the crew, she had been changed into a dragon although she still has yet to release her form to the public.

Becoming a pirate once again, she recieved her bounty, which increased for being a part of Hakai's crew.

The crew's bounty also increased.

For destroying Mary Geoise, and being the captain of the Dragon Pirates. Hakai's new bounty was now 3,000,000,000 Berries. For being a Yonko, he had the lowest bounty, but he didn't mind. It would grow in the future.

Makino's bounty grew too, becoming 658,000,000 Berries. She had the most bounty in the crew excluding Hakai.

Kaya's new bounty was now 633,000,000. Nojiko's new bounty was now 500,000,000. Robin's new bounty was just below Nojiko being 465,000,000, and finally Hancock's bounty was the lowest at 300,000,000.

These past months, Hakai's crew wasn't the only one getting fame, another crew called the Straw Hat Pirates were also becoming famous at what they did in Enies Lobby.

In the New World though, Hakai wasn't just lazing around and having fun. When he wasn't training and trying to achieve Bankai with Musabori, he was out in the New World gathering territories.

Hakai had about 20 islands total under his control.

Some of them were at the start of the New World while the others where quite a way from the beginning. One such island was an island that he liked and decided was his main base which wasn't that far away from Wano, an island under the Beast Pirates.
