Four Year Training

At the Supreme World of Kai.

"So you want to train with me," Shin asked Goten.

"So you just go by Kaioshin now, despite being the Fusion of Kibito and Shin," Goten asked.

"It's Kaioshin is a title. Not a name." Old Kai explained.

"But there is one thing I want to ask. Who are these people?" Goten asked as he pointed at a woman, a muscular man and an old man looking at him.

"Oh. These. They are the Supreme Kai that died 5 million years ago. Old Kai asked me to revive them using Namekian Dragon balls since I was still not ready to lead the universe by myself yet." Shin explained.

What happened? How did they even revive these people? Are they dead for like 5 million years? How did they even recover their soul? Goten was confused.

"We are Kais. Not mortals like you." Old Kai said to Goten as he knew what he was thinking.

"But are you sure you want me to train you? After all, you are still stronger than me." Shin asks Goten.

"I was planning to ask you to train me so that I could use God's techniques. I was unable to beat Buu without Fusion and I don't want to experience it again." Goten said to the Kais.

He was planning to use Super Saiyan 4 with god ki.

He looked at Kai to see their strength.

The old man called North Supremekai was the weakest, followed by the woman called West Supreme Kai, Shin was stronger than the two and South Supreme Kai was the strongest among all of them.

Goten also realized that the South Supreme Kai's power was comparable to his to the point he wondered how he was even killed by Majin Buu.

"So this is the mortal who defeated Majin Buu." He said as he looked at Goten.

"I heard you are almost as strong as the god of destruction when you become super." He said as he put his hand on Goten's shoulder and started to laugh.

"I only did this with the help of Shin, Bra and Trunks, And I would have lost if I didn't fuse with Trunks," Goten replied.

"I like him. This kid is humble too." South Supremekai said.

"Still to defeat Buu even with help is impressive. Maybe you should be Kai instead of us." North Supremekai said while smiling.

"And he looks interesting too. Look. He has a tail." West Supremekai said as she held Goten's tail.

"Hey, you should not grab other's people tails without permission," Shin said to the West Supremekai.

Old Kai took a glance at the group of Supreme Kai who seemed to be having a good time and smiled.

Back on earth.

"I won," Goku said as he looked at Vegeta who was on the ground exhausted from their spar.

"Huff. Huff. Don't get cocky Kakarrot. We are now even. You have not overtaken me yet." Vegeta replied.

"Hey, Vegeta. About that form. Do you think we can transform it without having to fuse? Or is that only accessible when using Fusion?" Goku asked Vegeta.

"Why are you asking me? You are the one who taught them the stupid dance?" Vegeta said to Goku.

Both of them saw the Super Saiyan 4 form of Gotenks from the fortune teller Baba's crystal ball a while ago but they didn't understand how it worked.

Goku was a little guilty about unknowingly abandoning him so he never talked about fighting whenever they had conversations.

Goku asked Trunks about it one time but Trunks didn't know anything about ssj 4.

While Vegeta was too prideful to ask. He was less prideful than he was in the past but he will never reach the point where he would ask about Super Saiyan 4 from the two kids that he trained.

At Capsule cooperation.

"It's been days since we have not seen Goten," Bra said to Mai as the two ate ice cream.

"Really? I didn't even notice it." Mai replied.

"Although Trunks said they are best friends I usually don't see him much outside of class," Mai said to Bra.

"Haha. I wonder..." Bra said as she laughed. She can't just tell her that Goten cannot stand her for some reason since she was dating her brother.

At Goku's house.

"That's it Trunks. Try to control your power." Gohan said as he softly pushed away Trunks's kick.

"Gohan. Did you get the ultimate form that my sister had?" Trunks who was using Super Saiyan 2 form asked Gohan.

Trunks were not holding back most of his power so he was shocked when Gohan was able to deflect his attack in base form with little to no effort.

"No. It's just I got something from Buu after you two defeated him. Goten called it God ki." Gohan explained.

"I am not very used to it but it seems to be a little more powerful than regular ki," Gohan said to Trunks.

"I could teach you if you want to learn it," Gohan said to Trunks.

Gohan started to train again despite not wanting to experience life or death situation.

This is because he felt that he was responsible for Buu since Buu absorbed him first which caused the downfall of Vegeta and Goku.

He didn't neglect his studies but he trained with Trunks, Bra, Piccolo, Goku and Vegeta whenever he was free.

And Gohan knew that there was something more to the new power that he just got from Buu.

That would help him protect his family and friends if he can figure it out.

"Gohan. Lunch is ready." Chichi said as she called Gohan.

"Trunks why don't we stop here for a while? We will continue after eating." Gohan said to Trunks.

"Then I will come back after an hour later." Trunks replied.

"Don't be like that. We are having fish that my Dad caught in the morning. Come and join us. Mom is a pretty good cook." Gohan said as he took his house.
