A lost soul finds himself in the body of Cumber the evil saiyan. inside a body of muscular built of towering height. He's long spiky black hair reaching down to his thighs with a single shorter bang hanging over his face. Unlike most Saiyans with pitch-black irises, he has red-irises and visible pupils. He also retains a Universe 7 Saiyan tail, which unlike most adult Saiyans, he lets sway freely. he wears a restraint jacket with Fu's mark on its chest area. His attire also appears to be made of similar material to Saiyan armor, as it can stretch and retain its integrity even at Great Ape size. It's seems everything about this Saiyan is hundred percent cooler than regular Saiyan.
Taking place across alternate timelines in the greater Dragon Ball franchise, the popular video game Super Dragon Ball Heroes, along with its subsequent anime and manga adaptations, has introduced its own set of memorable villains for Goku and the Z Fighters to battle against.
One of the most intimidating is Cumber, a fellow Saiyan warrior introduced in the first major story arc set on a prison planet. Which is how he easily became my favorite.
Here is a overview of Cumber, how he was introduced in the video game's anime adaptation, his vast powers and abilities and his role as one of the story's most devastatingly powerful antagonists.
Origins
Cumber is described by the demon Fu as an "evil Saiyan," whom he extracted from the Saiyan's ancient time period in Universe 7. Fu imprisons Cumber in the core of the Prison Planet, restraining him with a straitjacket and mouthpiece. Still possessing his Saiyan tail, Cumber towers in height and muscle mass even in his base state, larger even than Broly in his Legendary Super Saiyan transformation.
Like many Saiyans, Cumber is driven by an insatiable thirst for combat. He is especially drawn to battling against other Saiyans, like Goku and Vegeta, and visibly excited whenever he faces a worthy opponent. Cumber has an unknown history with Super Saiyan Gods. When he witnesses Goku transform into the divine state he becomes audibly agitated, leading him to become enraged and significantly increasing his combat power.
Even in his base state or I like to call it normal state, Cumber possesses an awesome energy level. Goku and Vegeta both instantly power up to Super Saiyan Blue when they sense his approach. Upon breaking free of his restraints, Cumber quickly learns how to transform into a Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 3, boosting his combat power exponentially. Because he possesses his tail, Cumber can also transform into a Great Golden Ape, and later after his original tail is cut off by Fu, creates a replacement tail made from pure energy .
While transformed as a Super Saiyan, Cumber is evenly matched with Super Saiyan Blue Vegito, forcing the fused warrior to use the Kaio-Ken technique to turn the tide.
Like seriously. !!! This dude deserve the title of an Evill saiyan God.
In his Great Golden Ape form, Cumber fights evenly with Xeno Super Saiyan 4 Vegito, the composite fusion of Goku and Vegeta from the Xeno timeline. While as Super Saiyan 3, Cumber separately forces Goku to transform into his Ultra Instinct state and Jiren to use his full power during Cumber's attempted invasion of Universe 11, although both Goku and Jiren are eventually able to overpower Cumber in this transformation..
It shows how strong he is. But most of all I love he's character design.... he's Soooo fucking cool. Like more cooler version of Broly.
Anyway I'm currently thinking about which timeline to start my story..
