Attempt to recruit the other Lords.

Aiko, as you can see, your vote will be the deciding factor. so what will it be?

Lord Aiko kept quiet for a while before responding, "While i believe we should fight for Zenox, we also need to tend to our wonds first before thinking of others. some of us present here just lost our heirs,in a place that's supposed to be a safe space in zastlevania."

"I believe some of us have failed in carrying out our duties as Lords, that's why the resent events in zastlevania has been nothing but absolute chaos. so i believe as Lords, we need a king to whom we would answer to, and in exchange, he would guarantee the entire kingdom absolute devotion. But i fail to see one who is capable of taking up the mantle of kingship among us."

[Chatter, Chatter]

The room was filled with the voice of the other lords. Aiko was obviously saying he was in support of the opinion of the vampires having a new king and at the same time letting every single one of them know they were incompetent and unfit to rule as a king.

Clearing his throat, Lord Harko obviously added Aikos' vote to that of Lord Arathon and Faron,so moving forward, they would all vote for whoever they believed was best suited to be the king of zastlevania.

"Tomorrow we will all decide who the new king would be, till then let's all go back and consider carefully as our decision Tomorrow would affect not just us but the entire vampire race." Harko stated.

with that They all left the private courth, making their way to the various rooms alacad had prepared for them.

Alacad, on the other hand, was happy. All he needed to do now was to make sure he had the majority vote tomorrow and everything else would fall into place.

So he decided to visit the other lords, one after the other. his first stop was Lord Faron's room. Standing in front of the door was faron's guard, who announced the presence of Alacad to Lord Faron.

Alacad was ushered into the room, and he got to business. Without wasting any time, he began convincing Faron to give him his vote. He also made various promises, promises he claimed he would fulfil once he became King.

When he was done convincing Lord Faron, he moved to the next. That was how he paid a visit to every single Lord except Lord Antoine. clearly, whatever he was planning didn't involve Antoine.

Back in the vast lands of beasts and undead creatures, Elena was still unconscious, but the light from the crystal that had engulfed elena was beginning to deem.

Lucky for them, there hadn't been any surprise attack from beasts or undead creatures. Zareth, Aruh, and the girls were all in the same tenth with elena.

After waiting for a couple of hours more, the crystal finally stopped emitting its light, and elena opened up her eyes.

the first thing she did was to reach into her storage ring and pull out a blood flask. She emptied the flasks content and then tossed it aside.

"What happened?" She asked after noticing the various looks on their faces that ranges from happiness to shock and confusion.

They explained all they could to elena, but none of them could explain what had happened after she had lured the beast away. Elena also had no memories of what had happened during the time dracula had taken over her body. the more she tried to remember, the more she felt pains in her head.

"What do we do now?" Lydia asked, and they all faced elena, obviously expecting her to make the final decision. It was obvious they saw her as the leader of the group.

seeing this, Elena told them they would rest for a while before continuing their search for a wyvern. She was going to complete this mission no matter what.

When she was finally alone, she looked at what was in her hands. She could see the crystal, from what the others had said, the crystal was responsible for healing her, and she was grateful to the crystal. she placed it back into her storage ring and layed back down.

she began opening up the various notifications she had received.

[System notification]

Quest rewards have been granted. You have Levelled up. +1 stat point has been allocated to all attributes. please upgrade any skill of your choice.

seeing this, Elena decided to upgrade her shape shifting skills, bringing it to level 2. After the upgrade, she decided to open up the other notification.

Hidden Rewards has been granted for defeating a legendary beast. You have levelled up, and Dracula can now take over the host's body at will.

"Wait, what?" Elena exclaimed. Even though she had no memories about defeating the beast, she had more pressing issues to worry about. What did the system mean by dracula being able to take over her body at will? and how is this even a reward?

"Dracula, Dracula!" she called out to dracula, obviously pissed with the way things were going.

Dracula, I know you can hear me. You had better start explaining yourself.

"Hnm, will you quit whining? No one wants to take over your weak body anyway." they kept going back and forth, fighting each other verbally with elena trying her best to know how she managed to defeat the legendary beast and dracula doing his best to ignore her.

After failing to get out any valuable information from Dracula, elena gave up and decided to rest for a while. 2 hours later, they resumed their mission of finding the wyvern.

Elena was ahead of everyone leading the team, while Aruh was behind, in front of him was Emiera, and then Lydia and Zareth were placed in the middle.
