18th Kiss

The kiss didn't last long. His lips merely touched mine, but they didn't move. He simply pressed our lips together. I stood frozen in place, unsure of what to do, accompanied by the loud pounding of my heart. My gaze was fixed on Kevin's face. He had this smug look, as if he had no regrets about what he had just done. He smirked, tracing my lips with his thumb, and he smiled.

"The next time I kiss you, I will make sure you'll respond. That you'll want it too," he said. Suddenly, he brought his lips close to my ear and whispered, "And when that time comes... you will be my girl."

With that, he walked away, leaving me bewildered. I didn't know how long I stood there, but suddenly, someone pinched my cheek.

"Ouch!!" I exclaimed, rubbing my face. I shot a glare at the culprit.

"What's wrong, Aries?" I asked him.

"Uh-oh!" he warned.
