Deus Ex Automata

After living a sincerely unfulfilling existence up to this point, Kai meets an untimely end at the hand of someone he once trusted, with no control over his demise. His world never gave him a chance to take the reigns... But, in a flash and a new world, he gets that chance. He awakens, in a strange land- entirely immobile, and with odd windows and symbols running through his mind- an infinite stream of ones and zeros replacing the neurons that once fired through his brain- He's become a machine! An artificial, magical intelligence- and more, a system prophetically declared to guide the hero to victory against the forces of evil. Unfortunately, stuck in one place as not much more than an unreachable target- all the heroes that approach him for their divine quest... Are absolutely terrible!
