I can't write a synopsis so if you're interested then please read the first few chapters if it doesn't interest you then don't read it this is my second fanfic and unlike the previous one I don't plan to drop it, I'll try to upload 1-2 chapters every day if i can't that means I'm busy with school and stuff. the cover of the fanfic doesn't belong to me it's from the demon slayer manga (obviously) and neither one of them belongs to me and I don't make anything off of this, if this fanfic needs to be taken down I'll gladly do so. just writing this because I'm bored out of my mind.

Mystery Solved... Almost.

As Tsuki finished his mission, the crow came back, "CAW!! CAW!! There are no more missions! Take a break!" And it said sternly, Tsuki nodded, 'What do I do now? If there are no more missions, I should probably go and train... Wait, I should probably go and visit Obanai, and maybe if I'm lucky I'll meet Sabito, Makomo, and their friend.'

"Crow, can you take me to where the... man named Urokodaki lives? My friend is learning from him, I want to visit him." Tsuki said to it, the crow cawed a few times and perched on his shoulder, "CAW!! I'm tired from flying! Go to Mt.Sagiri! You'll meet him there!" Tsuki nodded in understanding and ran.

Getting there took him about 2 days, Obviously, he was taking rests, in the villages that he crossed while going to his destination, he slept in the morning and traveled at night, he encountered some demons here and there, but they weren't all that strong so he killed them with almost no effort, they were feral no sign of intelligence in their eyes, the crow informed him that these demons were probably newborns and that he should investigate the area thoroughly, before proceeding.

Tsuki did just that, but he didn't find anything except skeletons, and dead bodies of humans, that were scattered in the caves nearby, there was nothing of significance. Tsuki knew, that these demons had to come from somewhere, they don't just appear out of thin air, it puzzled him greatly, but eventually, he couldn't think of an explanation, so he just gave up.

Anyways, arriving at his destination, he noticed a hut that was not too far away, so he went there and knocked, the door was opened by... The participant from the final selection, a boy named Sabito.

Sabito's eyes widened, and he recognized Tsuki as well, "It's you! From the final selection! What brings you here?" Sabito asked, "I'm looking for a friend, his name is Obanai Iguro, is he here?

"He's not here right now, He's training with Urokodaki-sensei, I can bring you to him follow me."

Sabito went ahead, and Tsuki followed close behind, on their way the two conversed about various things, mostly about their missions.

As they were talking, they made it to the place where Urokodaki was training Obanai, it seemed that he just finished for today, Obanai looked extremely exhausted, and was lying on the ground. seeing him in that state reminded him of his training with his father, and learning his Breathing Style.

"Hello, who might you be?" Urokodaki turned towards Tsuki and questioned meanwhile Sabito made his way to Obanai to help him up, Tsuki bowed and introduced himself, "Anenokoji Tsuki, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

"Anenokoji... Masayoshi's son huh?" Urokodaki muttered to himself, "I am Urokodaki Sakonji, Thank you for saving my two disciples if it weren't for you... I'm afraid I would have lost them as well."

Tsuki didn't say anything, he didn't know what to say in these types of situations, so he just remained silent.

"Did you come here to check on Obanai?" Urokodaki questioned, "That's right, Urokodaki-san, May I?"

"Certainly, he finished his training for today."

With that Tsuki went to talk with Obanai, to catch up until he gets another mission, when he went to Obanai, Sabito left to let them catch up.

"Yo, Obanai how have you been?" Tsuki greeted him with a smile, Obanai was surprised by his sudden arrival, "I-I've been well, What about you Tsuki? And what of Kyojuro? is he well?"

"I'm okay, and Kyojuro... well I don't know, but knowing him he's probably eating in some diner as of now." Tsuki responded with a chuckle, "Anyways, how goes your training?"

"...Pain, the best way to describe it, but... It works." Obanai said mysteriously in-between breaths, Tsuki didn't poke around the subject much, seeing that Obanai didn't feel like talking about it, which is understandable, Obanai hadn't done any exercise up until now.

The day went by, as Tsuki talked with Obanai about all sorts of things, from mundane things to Tsuki's missions, though there was one interesting thing that Tsuki noticed about the man known as Urokodaki, is that he never takes off his tengu mask for some reason, Obanai and Tsuki theorized that maybe Urokodaki has Buckteeth, or something similar and that's why he hides it. Now, unfortunately, their conversation was heard by Urokodaki, Tsuki managed to SOMEHOW escape, but Obanai couldn't and was subjected to another batch of training that day. It was horrifying.

Tsuki stayed with Urokodaki and Sabito for a few days, Makomo wasn't there, when Tsuki asked about her, Urokodaki told him that she was on a mission, as for Sabito, well he already did all his missions, and was resting like Tsuki.

Soon enough that rest came to an end, as the two were dispatched on a mission, both of them went their way after saying their goodbyes, Sabito went to the east, and Tsuki went to the west.

Tsuki traveled, to the west and the distance he had to cover was so large, that even Tsuki, needed 2 weeks while doing so he took out as many demons as he came across and in that time he realized that the entirety of Japan was probably crawling with demons each night he killed at least 2-3 demons,

Lots of travelers went missing even other demon slayers never came out of this place, granted they were rookies but, The demon Tsuki was sent to take care of, wasn't that strong it was... rabid? A demon formed just recently, probably around 3 weeks ago, there was absolutely no way this demon could have killed 4 slayers, it was just not possible, there had to be something Tsuki missed or something else that was taking place here.

And... He was right, turns out... there was an unknown variable, A variable by the name of... Lower moon 4.

"Another slayer? No complaints about free meals... become the stepping stone for me reaching... the level of those bastards." the demon gnashed his teeth as he said the last bit.

Tsuki stood in front of the Lower Moon demon, Sword in hand taking glaring at the demon, Taking a deep breath he didn't drag it out any longer, didn't wait for the demon to make the first strike, "Moon Breathing: Fourth Form: Moon Dance." Tsuki said before disappearing and reappearing, in front of the demon whose expression remained unchanged, Not minding that fact Tsuki struck him exactly two times, a vertical and then a horizontal slash, the chaotic crescent blades followed the attack, as the attacks were about to land, the demon opened its mouth, and... an ungodly amount of flames were shot out.

Tsuki was surprised and evaded the attack albeit barely, and wiped the sweat from his forehead, he almost died... just now.

The demon didn't give him time to react and formed massive claws on his hands and dashed toward Tsuki with a mad grin, Tsuki then used the Third form, "Moon Breathing: Loathsome Moon, Chains." The demon's eyes widened, and Jumped back for a second, staring at Tsuki with a surprised expression.

"You bastard... How did you use... His Blood Demon Art and Technique...? Answer me, right now." The demon growled out, and confused Tsuki, Blood demon art? what he was using was a Breathing technique... Surely the demon was mistaken, But then it dawned on him... Other Breathing techniques were unlike his... His breathing style was completely different from anything that has been recorded, and as he realized that, the questions he had before... were now answered.

Who was the man in his dreams? Why was his silhouette the only thing visible? why was his face and sword... "Obstructed" from his vision?

Tsuki found himself, back in his dream, the man was showing new techniques, his katana had become visible, and his face... also visible.

The man's sword was grotesque, covered with veins, and eyes, that were darting around everywhere, and the blade was now elongated it was bigger with three smaller blades coming out of it.

The man's skin was deathly pale, like that of the demon he was fighting, there were seemingly no other changes, until... Tsuki saw the man's face, he had three pairs of eyes, and in the middle pair, were the words... Upper Moon One.

Tsuki was... shocked, he did think that Moon Breathing seemed a bit off... no other human being could do it.

Tsuki pondered over that matter... but he could not come up with an explanation.

Then all of a sudden, his vision went black, and he found himself back in the real world, and the demon was still standing in the same place, not moving at all.

The demon frowned, and questioned, "I won't ask again you bastard, tell me how you've done it."

Tsuki stood in silence, tightening his grasp on his sword, even more, and rushed toward the demon, slashing at his legs, the demon dodged out of the way and threw a punch to the stomach, Tsuki jumped to the right before slashing at his opponents arm aiming to cut it off, the demon smirked as it opened it's fist and twisted its palm to face Tsuki's direction.

"Blood Demon Art, Blazing Inferno." thus a massive amount of fire gushed out incomparable to the one from before, Tsuki rolled out of the way before springing up to his feet before using the First Form, "Moon Breathing: Dark Moon, Evening Palace." and slashed towards the demon's arm, finally the attack connected, the arm was chopped off cleanly, the demon didn't show any signs of pain, and struck Tsuki, on the side, the attack wasn't as strong as Tsuki thought it would be, the pain was there yes, but his ribs were unaffected, turns out the demon's physical capabilities were pretty bad.

Tsuki proceeded to put more pressure on the demon by constantly attacking, the demon was... strong much stronger than anyone he's fought maybe except the Pillars and his father, it fought brilliantly and even overwhelmed Tsuki at times, there were a few moments in their fight that they both thought they were going to lose, but right now it was more of a stalemate.

Tsuki was kneeling on the ground supporting himself with his katana, breathing heavily he hadn't been pushed this far... in a long time, he was covered in burns, and his uniform was burnt in some places. the demon was no better, its right leg and left arm were chopped off, as it growled while regenerating, then it stood up, followed by Tsuki who also stood up shakily, the two took their stances once again, this would be the final clash, the clash that will determine the victor.

The demon exploded in flames, conjured up the claws once again, and rushed towards Tsuki intending to slice him into pieces, Tsuki waited for the right moment, and just when the demon was 5 steps away, he rushed in, closing the distance himself, the demon was surprised and wavered only for a second, and that second was the deciding factor.

"Moon Breathing: First Form: Dark Moon, Evening Palace," Tsuki said before finally, slicing the demon's head off.

Tsuki fell to his knees, completely exhausted, "I did it." he muttered to himself, then he fell over to the side, and passed out.

Soon Enough, the sun came out, bathing Tsuki in its light, banishing the beings that weren't supposed to exist, into the darkness.

*****IMPORTANT READ THIS******

Longest chapter I've written, and sorry for disappearing again, but things happened, but don't worry, in that time I thought of the plot for quite some time, and have the outline of it, but keep in mind that this fanfic won't be over 100 chapters long, at best it would be around 40-50, no longer than that, because I don't like stretching stuff to the max, and neither am I creative enough to do all that.

Creation is hard, cheer me up!
