Demigod of hell

[ 1st person view of Astraeas- the son of Persephone and Hades* ]

I staggered through the pitch black night. Dark tree trunks, shadows, overhanging limbs across the path. There are lots of grain of poison begrimed the bark and gleamed like witch dust. The decaying air and stifling atmosphere provided me with ease. I had father's permission to go out of hell as it was too stifling- and i would want to meet this so called brother and sister of mine in the human world. Blood oozed out of my Deep gash from my abdonmen. I seemed to have forgotten how i got this wound. I exited the underworld… I could not seem to remember how i got here or this wound. I groaned and held my injury. My blood painted my hands and clothing. I stumbled around and supported my weight with the a tree. Blood spilled on the floor like a flood of water. I looked around at the surroundings, fatigue taking over my body and my eyesight getting blurry. I was unable to think properly and collapsed on the muddy ground. Rain came down, straight and silvery, like a punishment of steel rods, the thunder made some sounds like grand pianos falling downstairs, then settled to a softer continuous rumble, which was almost drowned by the sound of the rain. My body felt emotionless on the ground and I could not move. I just laid there, my eyes staring into the far distance. The rain clattered onto my body and onto the rocks and pitted the sea. The sea…i thought looking afar. I must aleast be at Montauk near the western hills. I mustered a little strength to smile and I closed my eyes, passing out. 

 The next second i woke up, I was on a cozy bed and I awoke comfy wooden ceiling. I tried getting up but a sharp pain hit me. My abdomen was wrapped with tight white bandages ,blood staining it. I was in a small hut filled with medical and doctor stuff. There was a blonde teen seating on a rolling chair and spinning a pen, staring at the dancing fire at the fire place. The young teen heard me getting up and immediately stood up, dropping the pen he was holding. " you're up? Your wound was so serious i thought you were not going to make it!" he exclaimed and quickly shuffled his medical stuff. I looked down and realised i was changed into a bright orange shirt, with words- Half-blood camp, cabin 7, Apollo with a Pegasus icon on it. I wore a pair of long track pants underneath. He spotted me looking at the new clothing and got flustered. " OH! I SORRY IF I ENVADED UR PRIVACY! I DIDNT CHANGE YOUR UNDERGARMENTS THOUGH!" I quietly got out off bed and replied nonchantly," Its fine. its not like im a woman, you changed me for medical reasons only." The teen worriedly looked at me as i totter unsteadily. The boy had bright blonde messy hair, deep ocean eyes that sparkled in the light and sunshine wide smile. He wore the same shirt as i did but with a doctor's coat and shorts. I knew it, this was Camp half blood, the camp where my brother was. My face darkened. I glowered at the teen. Of course i knew who he was. Why would i not?

 I was an edgy young 13 year old teen. I didn't say I loved books. Most books do not catch my outmost attention. But I loved a book-Percy Jackson. I don't particularly like the main character but I like a side character - Solangelo. The ship was about Nico di Angelo, the son of Hades and William solace, the son of Apollo . I was writing a fan fiction of TGCF and I suddenly passed out. After I gained my consciousness, I was no longer in my small HDB flat, I was in a crib, decorated with sparkling flowers and crystals. A beautiful and stunning lady took me and cradled me in her arms. I was no longer an ordinary child that loved writing and internet, I was the son of Hades and Persephone. The reason I loved crossdressing was because my past life- I was a female. How am I supposed to live in a fictional world as a boy?

 With a snap of my fingers, my tangled hair was turned into a lock of golden brown shoulder-length butterfly hair-cut cascading down. A side of my hair behind my fringe was pinned up with shining a lily of the valley clip. I wore the same oversized shirt and partnered it with a pure white mini shirt. I wore some charm bracelets on my hand and a rubber band on the other. I wore the same flower earrings on both ears under my long fringe. The teen-who I know as will was shocked," erm… you still haven't recovered fully yet!" He shouted as i walked out of the cabin. However I didn't want to stay in the infirmary. I waved my hand and replied," My name's Astraeas!" I started to walk towards Dr.D( Dionysus) office.

 I banged the door of the office and sat at the chair infront of Dr.D ( or Mr.D) He looked annoyed and glanced at me up and down. In book, he hated demigods, his favourites were only Will and Nico. " What a rude demigod. Especially from the cabin Apollo…" he muttered loudly on purpose for me to hear. I went straight to my point." I want to be part of this camp." It took his attention and he smugly answered," aren't you part of it already?" He looked at me like i was a stupid person. " I fainted on Montauk then someone from this camp brought me here. Will Lent me this shirt so I'm technically not part of this camp." He continued judging me " Do you even know what this camp is?" He remarked. A normal person in this demigod camp would be troublesome to deal with but lucky for them- I was not. " Ya", i crossed my arms," a camp for demigods- half human half gods ." I claimed. Dr.D tidied a stack of papers and asked me," and how old are you?" " 13" I disclosed. 

 I stomped out of the office in fury. I had asked if I could be in the Apollo cabin or the Hades cabin but HE said i was going to be sent to the Hermes' cabin with a bunch of wannabes! I am the son of Hades and this is what i get? I stared at the pretty yellow shirt of cabin Apollo that was going to be replaced by a Hermes gold colored shirt. I groaned in Ire as i realised i was going to hang out with demigods that is either abandoned or forgotten by their parent. I sighed. How useless. I had received a set of 2 cabin Hermes clothing from Dr.D earlier. As i walked, i slowly pondered. how did he even know i was a demigod? I thought about it and gave up. Not knowing a weird gold spear-leave like mark was on my hand , slowly disappearing. I entered the cabin with lots of young and older teens chatting. Once they realised, i entered they immediately stopped talking and turned to me. " Whats an Apollo child doing here?" and all sorts of comments. I was irritated and snapped," I'm not from the Apollo cabin. I got injured so will lent me his shirt." A series of whistles and 'ohhhhhh' came out. A older male put a hand on my shoulder and smiled brightly," i'm glad to have a junior tho!" I gripped the shirts i received tightly as the male caressed my shoulder. Another male nudged the male that touched my shoulder and smirked," ohhhh, Liam has a crushhh~" I was digusted and slapped the hand away from me. " i need to change." I announced coldly. Humans are weird these days.

 It was night and i stared at the stars that filled the sky like pale corn into freshly turned ground. I should visit father…. I changed into a black loli dress and let my hair flow like a fun ride in the singing wind. Few minutes later, i reached the underworld. Entering the castle, i greet my dad and mom- which was a surprising sight because they were hardly hanging out. After spotting me, Persephone rushed and grabbed my shoulders and shaked me." What happened to you?! I was dead worried! Who did this to you? Answer me!" She expressed concern and looked serious about the questioning of the person that wounded me. Hades, who was infront of me also conveyed his thoughts," No normal demigod would injury a powerful person like you, who did this, Astra." I sweated and explained my situation , from how i had forgotten who did this to me and how I ended up in the Hermes' cabin. So i asked my father to show the hades mark of my head infront of everyone so i can be transferred to the Hades cabin. I sneaked a glance when I left the large Hall. Persephone was eerily whispering to Hades. I hope they wont talk about who did this to me.

 The next day came like a flash. It was training day, however, there was a catch. Nico will be summoning his skeletons as our enemies in addition to monsters to the game 'catch the flag ' . I was elated and overjoyed. To see my elder brother was one of the greatest thing in the world. I only saw a canon image of him online so i was looking forward to see him in real life. 

 I stood in rows in my group. The same boy that touched me-whose name that was Liam asked me to join his group. Of course i agree as i needed sacrifices. I will be the one and only person that will catch the flag for Nico to acknowledge me. The match started out good as we were eliminating the skeletons easily- well because of me but the others did a good job of not being a burden, especially that Liam guy. We decided to camp around here for a while to rest as we were tired. I lean on a tree near our flag. I rolled my eyes ,demigods are so weak. I stand on guard to other enemy teams if they were to make an ambush. But of course- i had many cheats as the son of Persephone. I set up many leaf traps not visable to normal eyes and sharp thin spider like webs that were actually made from leaves too. I looked around, vooming my sight in and out , trying to catch any enemies while my team was resting. I heard the sudden movement of water in the river far away. My hearing is rather good and the movement in the water does not sound like a skeleton or a monster. It was someone from the enemy team. But… how can they move that fast? I was sure…. I sent extra skeletons on their way. I scorned as it was my other member's turn to watch the flag while the other team mates defend the area from threats. However i had already set enough traps at my duty area so I deceided to camp near our flag, potentially i would go and easily take the flag but i do not trust that team mate. The teammate seemed rather inattentive and not taking care of the flag properly. A long while passed, crickets chirping, the squirrels chattering, birds singing and rustling. I kept on guard after hearing the rustling. I frowned. Branches were cracking and i heard foot steps. Maybe i was being paranoid….

 A hand emerged out of the dark behind the person on guard. Before the enemy could take our flag- i grabbed the wrist too tightly and the person kneeled on the ground, screaming in pain. There was a crack sound, surprised i let go. The boy held his wrist and scuffled around in pain on the ground. It was not my fault human's bones are that feeble. After informing the seniors, the game came to and end without a valid winner. I stood infront of everyone that participated in the game on a wooden platform with Nico . The boy had been sent to the infirmary to recover and heal his wounds. " why did you break his wrist." He asked emotionlessly. I could tell he did not want to be here. " his bones were too weak so i accidentally crushed it." I retorted in a gentle and calming tone. Whispers were heard through out the rows and even Nico eyes widen in shock. 

 A skull hologram was above my head. I smiled, i was claimed in front of everybody. I wonder what would happened next….
