Pillars of trash stacked miles high. Long cracked roads leading to nowhere. The sky a pitch-black darkness. The moon a deep dark white. A man walked alone.
His black strapped cargo jacket hanging by his tall thin shoulders. His heavy black pants that dragged slightly around the ankles, but were still kept up by his thick rubber boots.
With every step, a large rectangular metal container attached to his back would shake. No straps, no connectors. The container was magnetic, floating an inch away from his back, but still attached. And inside the metal container was an unknown package that needed to be delivered.
And so he walked.
He walked through the crumbling towers. The trash-filled world, with metal roads and glass streets. No buildings, no skyscrapers, only towers of trash. And on the horizon sat a nothingness landscape of death. A black and grey wasteland of monsters and machines, all waiting to kill. All waiting...
The man in black had sharp white eyes and dark black hair. His face was immaculate and handsome, yet mysterious and lost. When he would stare off into the nothingness, he would have the face of someone on a thoughtful binge. He would wander off in his own head. Walking the endless roads, not thinking of tomorrow, not thinking of the past, not thinking of anything. And that is not because he wasn't thinking, because he was. It was because no one knew what he was thinking. No one knew... And everyone knew. They all knew that he was going somewhere. Walking somewhere. But they didn't know where that somewhere was. They only knew he was going and that he was going to reach his destination no matter what. And once he reached his destination he was going to deliver.
So with every step he took, with every passing destroyed settlement he passed. Of towering cities, of destroyed mega structures. He would always bring death along, following in his every wake. No passengers, no followers, only a rumor of his presence. Of the man who passed through the forgotten world.
And so he walked.
And no one knew why.
And no one knew where.
They only knew he was going where no human dared to go.
They only knew he was crazy enough to do it. Lost in his own head. Lost on a road to another settlement. To another forgotten world.
But he charged no fees. No payments. No price.
He charged with only a purpose.
A purpose to deliver for the forgotten and for the human.
