When Viviane died...when his stepsister died.
He hugged his younger brother, comforting him and repeatedly whispering that Viviane...our sister had died. Arthur's tears flowed in the midst of his brother's screams. His brother may have thought he was crying over his sister's death at the time, but that was not the case.
He cried...because Gwen cried.
Just as he loves Viviane because Gwen loves Viviane.
Initially, it was nothing more than that.
Gwen never cried even when our parents passed away. That is why he felt pain when he saw Gwen cry. His good boy is deserving of being the happiest person in the world.
The old house was sold. His younger brother moved to his workplace with him. That child's absent-mindedness assured him that he would recover soon.
