As he emerges from the underground ruins into the scarred wastelands above, Zero finds a society on the brink of collapse, plagued by horrific beasts with uncanny abilities. zero soon realizes he possesses his own uncanny strength and combat skills far beyond anything human. When he saves a group of survivors from a monstrous attack, the people are both wary yet intrigued by this solitary stranger and his inhuman powers.
