"Urgh... my head hurts a lot!"

It was the first thing Dan felt when he woke up. He puts his two hands on his head, while his vision is blurred.

"Toc! Toc! Toc!"

Just when he was trying to endure the pain he was feeling in his head, he heard a knock on the door.

"Dan, wake up! Your sister is waiting for you to have breakfast." A sweet, lovely voice came from the other side of the door.

"Milena!? Urghhhhh!"

An even stronger pain surfaced. Dan couldn't take it anymore and started screaming out in pain.

The door opens and a beautiful woman appears. Wearing a blue dress and her long dark brown hair stuck in a ponytail. She had a concerned expression when she saw Dan's current state squirming in the bed of pain.

Dan struggled to remain open-eyed as he tried to endure the pain he was feeling in his head, but it turned out he couldn't take it anymore while screaming, he passed out.

When he wakes up again, Dan hears two female voices next to him.

"How is he, Milena?"

"No need to worry, Master Isadora, Dan is fine, he just had a little fever."

Hearing the two talk, Dan opens his eyes as he tries to sit on the bed.

Isa moved very fast and helped him to lie down again.

'An angel?' He thought. Isa was wearing a beautiful white dress and her long silver hair was down.

"You have a fever; you better stay lying down." Isa looks at him worriedly. She puts her soft, fragrant hand on his forehead.

Dan closed his eyes and inhaled her sweet perfume. 'I love her smell so much. In fact, I love everything about it, and that's weird. I know we are siblings and it's wrong, but my body doesn't understand that.'

Suppressing his hidden feelings for his sister, he takes a deep breath, managing to calm himself. It was then that he remembered why he passed out before and his emotions were agitated.

"Isa... me, I managed to awaken a talent!" Dan says with trembling lips, barely managing to contain his emotions.

"Oh really!?" Isa's eyes are red. She hugged him tightly: "This is great! I am so happy!"

Not waiting for that hug, his heart threatens to come out of his chest so fast it was beating.

"Tell your older sister, what talent did you get?" She placed two delicate hands on his shoulder. Her smile was charming, but not as much as her amethyst black eyes. She is so perfect.

Dan closes his eyes and opens it again and gives her his best smile: "Actually, I don't know either... I just know it's a fire thing. Hmmm... I will try to manifest it for you to see."

Feeling a little better, with Isadora's help, he sat on the bed. Then Isadora walked away.

Dan tries to manifest his newly awakened powers.

Both Isadora and Melina stare at Dan without blinking.

Feeling his temperature rise, it was as if he had a very high fever, but Dan did not stop and continued. That was when an unknown power ran through all the veins of his body, going towards his left hand.

It was at that moment that a small red fire animal with wings appeared in the palm of his hand.

"Yeah, is that a fire raven!?" Isa blinked her eyes and continued to stare at the firebird.

Milena was also surprised, she covered her mouth with both hands, surprised by what she was seeing.

It was not for nothing since the talent awakened in the form of an animal is very rare and they are usually powerful!

Dan didn't have much time to be happy. He begins to feel all the strength of his body being drained; it was at that moment also that the fire raven returned to his body.

Dan's breathing has become heavy because of this, he takes a deep breath for air. His body got sticky with sweat.

Isadora without caring about that hugged Dan. Hugging himself, he remains with his face on her neck, enjoying her body on his.

"I'm very happy for you." She whispered and released him from her embrace.

So many things he wanted to say, but Dan knew he couldn't, in the end, he chose to keep quiet.

"Dan, you are very sweaty, I will bring you a basin of water and a towel," Isadora said.

"Right," Dan says tiredly.

Milena who stayed stared at him for a while and smiled: "Congratulations, Dan!"

"Thanks!" He smiles at her back.

Then she also left, leaving Dan alone in the room.

Lying on the bed, he looks at the ceiling. He knew that many things would change from that moment on. When he came to this island, the thought of being able to awaken a talent had not even crossed his mind.

The initial reason for coming to this island was to see how his older siblings were meditating on that island. Another reason was to train back to school.

He closes his eyes and the memories of how many times he daydreamed of awakening a talent. Remembering the envy and jealousy he felt of those who had awakened a talent... He hated that feeling. He hated himself for envying his older sister and siblings.

Milena came in too, carrying a towel.

"Dan, let me wash your back." The words were spoken by Isadora only made Dan sigh. It was all too good to be true.

When Isadora sat on the edge of the bed next to Dan, he looked at her with his burning eyes. He "knew" that this was all a dream, so why not enjoy it?
