Ch 18: New Monster Encounter

Ron after going through all the chat's, discover new things, that he doesn't know previously. It was about those 10 years Core Festival that was now being discussed in the channel.

"Well, there is still more to learn about this world than I previously though. There was many new things that was going around. Although dungeon seem to be appear very mysterious, there was still people going around gossiping stuff huh," Ron murmured then said. "Well it has nothing to do with me if there was any big plans going around. I should focus on improving my dungeon fast. Then even if there was any conspiracy I should be able to break through it with pure strength."

Ron then decided to go back to his room in the castle, in the master bedroom. He then get ready to go back to sleep.

There were many things he needs to do tomorrow, so he decided to have the tought of the competition behind his back, and focus on what is on hand.

There was still 1 month left to the festival. If he can improve like today, then he was granted that he can improve his Rank in the Top 100,000th, as he doesn't know if there was anyone who can improve like himself.

The next day he wake up refresh after having a great dreams. So now he was ready to go back to accuring new areas, to increase his influence as well earn more DP for his dungeon.

This way he was able to increase his DP production.

Ron then send out his force again to scout the area around, he was able to scout west and north west side of the forest.

Today he was going toward the south side, which he deduct that it should have the lowest level of monsters. The reason being that, it was the direction toward the human settlement. As also it was the direction where human can be found often. It was the beginning of the forest, so monsters level become less powerful.

The north is the direction where the monsters level increase. Because in the center of the forest was said to be the source of all the magic particles.

As this was one of the 4 most dangerous Forest of the world. Alongside Forest of Death, Ghastly wind Forest, Eternal Silence Forest. It has a core area where the amount of energy was the most abundant.

In there monster become very powerful, or when monsters level increase they will have to go there or else they will have energy deficit.

This was also the downside for the monsters they absorb surrounding magic energy in the air to level up. The higher there level the more magic particles they need so they have to fight for them, this was also the reason even if there was exaggerated amount of monsters that was born regularly, but the amount didn't exceed to the point there was a overflow.

It was because those monsters fight among themselves to increase there level and the amount of energy. They also protect the area there from any invaders in the forest.

The settlement around can experience monsters tide when among monsters a leader was born. The leaders have the ability to gather monsters to attack surrounding settlement this way the forest can expand to thie level today.

This forest was like a dungeon themselves, can be called a open dungeon. It can increase its area as it's own, with the help of forest monsters. When they attack new areas, when captured there was a chance to increase the forest areas.

So, to prevent more increase for those dangarous areas. People of this world make sure that when there was a tide, they send powerful army or adventurers to kill them or be killed by them. If it was the formar then they can stop the advancement. If it was the later then monsters can't be stop, so the areas get bigger.

There was also the possibility of reducing this. That is to push inward and make new settlements, after long period of monthly monster tides, if those settlement survive then the forest or other types of dangerous areas get there influence area reduce.

The way to tell the difference was when those areas were under the corrupt energy influence, the energy around themselves was like a poison, consistently getting in there body.

Prolonged time period, there were violent tendency, getting mad and can also becoming monsters themselves. It was very deadly poison with no visible results.

So now why is those areas are corrupt. Energy was a pure source. For it to be like this was because of negative influence.

Negative influence was the source of all the corrupt areas and monsters. As the source that was related to every being, it gather together to form those areas. In a way dungeons can be said to be a part of the negative energy.

This was also the reason, even with giving birth many Tier 9 and Divine level expert the areas didn't shrink, but expanding slowly.

When people around the world settling themselves in those areas, they will rotated periodically, so as not to get fully cursed.

After thinking all the information he get form the dungeon system as well as from the channel. Ron then being to observe the path to where his dungeon monsters going toward.

When the troops are going they some times meet with some wandering monster or a small group of them like the previous Wolf pack.

Though they are not that powerful comper to that Wolf king pack, that was able to massacre his entire team all by itself.

Well those monsters are about 80~99 level around the area toward the forest beginning, so in average his monsters team can found 6~10 monsters, but the average level of them around 80 to 85 Max.

Also when he was sleeping yesterday, the place he conquered also have some monster moved in. He was able to generate a substantial amount of DP in about 9 to 10 hours. So when he open his balance to check he was shock to find the numbers.

[DP: (15,750,000+220,000+ 797,400)=16,767,400 ]

[DP income: 22,000/ H]

Although not that exaggerated like killing monsters, but you have to know that it was a infinite source of income unlike when killing, that was one time thing.

The amount calculate in minutes unlike passive income of hourly. Hgher the level higher the amount. Example is that if a monster or people whose level was 50 then he will give DP of 50/Minute.

It was also the reason, every veteran dungeon masters suggested to keep outside monsters, that they can control if there was any needs around the influential areas of the dungeon.

This was to have those monsters generate extra amount of DP for them. If the monsters are higher level then the dungeon master or the highest level of monsters that the dungeon has.

Then it didn't give DP just being outside the dungeon. It has to enter the Dungeon to get DP from them, or the dungeon master can get there troops send to kill them, to get the killed amount DP.

If not then the area the monster reside in they will take the influence for themselves, so dungeon master then loss that area, and have to send troops again to get that back, if not send sooner.

When Ron was once again in his deep thoughts, he see in the dungeon screen, when a pack of his Giant Wolf of 10+1(leader). Spot some green looking monsters.

They were not very tall about half as tall as him about 90 Cm. With a green body and a evil smile on there face as they were discussing something. When Ron use his Appraisal skill he was able to see there status.
