Wedding Card

All Jason had built between him and Nora crashed because of that damn girl. He thought after a week or two everything would be back to normal but it became worse instead.

Nora started to refuse him dropping her off at her house, she stopped joking and smiling at him and her honorifics were now damn annoying.

They have drifted apart and it kind of made him guilty as he was aware that it was his fault.

He knew he felt something for Nora but was just hiding behind his cold and domineering cover.

As she entered his office, he started typing something on his laptop.

"Is that the document I asked you to review?" He asked pretending not to pay attention to her.

Nora nodded before proceeding to his table to drop the document.

Jason's eyes then landed on her finger. He saw a silver ring on her hand. Was she engaged? To who? How?

"Are you engaged?" Jason asked curiously. "Sir?"

It was obvious that Jason didn't want to repeat himself "Oh...yes sir"

Then he suddenly became annoyed at her response. Was he expecting a no as an answer? Why was he feeling so disappointed?

"Wow! It's such a cheap ring you have there" He started to smirk. "It's..."

Without waiting for her to complete her sentence "You are dismissed". Nora gritted her teeth in anger.

Jason hurriedly closed his laptop and walked to his inner room. He began to destroy everything destroyable.

What? She's getting married? And he was busy waiting for her to come back to him. This is so crazy.

Nora having heard the sound ran to his office but didn't meet him there. She figured that he was in the inner room and ran into the room.

She saw the mess and sighed "Sir, are you okay?"

She has never seen Jason like this before. He could always control his anger and anguish. What could have happened?

Nora hurriedly went closer when she saw blood flowing from his hand "Sir, your hand is injured"

Jason was still fuming with anger that he ignored her. Holding his hand tightly "I think the cut is deep, we have to get to the hospital"

She stood up to call Mr. Anthony to prepare the car when he held her back. He hugged her gently "Please, just for five minutes"

He was so scared of losing her, especially to that Dylan guy that he always saw with her.

He wasn't even as handsome as he was but she chose him.

After about ten minutes Nora stood up and called Mr Anthony to prepare the car.

"We can go now" She held his hand to help him get up.

Butler Park and Nora were waiting at the entrance of Jason's room, waiting for him to be treated.

He has been in there for about thirty minutes. The doctor had to stitch it because the cut was so deep.

Nora sent a message to Mr. Anthony telling him to instruct someone to clean the room before they got back.

After about an hour the doctor came out when the stitches were finally done "He's fine now, you can go see him. But... someone should come to collect the prescription for the medication that would be needed"

Nora followed the doctor to collect the prescription.

As soon as Nora got home, she met Dylan curled up at the entrance of her apartment "Dylan?"

He stood up smiling happily "I brought good news". Nora looking tired just stared "Which is?"

He then proceeded to bring out an invitation card "This is our wedding card baby". He hugged Nora "My mother finally agreed for us to get married. I chose the venue and date already"

"What!!"
