概要

On an island in the forgotten seas, there lies a mansion. In truth it's a glorified prison for the strongest mages known to man. They were imprisoned after the ancient war that had taken place 500 years ago. But can they truly not leave? As the prisoners stop to remain as docile as they were before the world suddenly learns why those people were kept away from society. But the escaped prisoners have much grander plans and set their sight on the lower realms, a unique set of worlds below the surface. Chapter 1New arrivals

Another wonderful day had begun. I rose from my bed looking outside through my window and roughly 500'000 barrier spells, marveling at the hurricanes and storms ravaging the sea around the island. And struggling in one of the bigger storms was a massive steel cruiser, barely keeping afloat through the help of the newest technologies and a squadron of water mages trying their best to divert as many waves as possible.

'They must be getting a new recruit. Sure is a bad first day for the guy to arrive through such a storm.'

Nevertheless, it was a good day.

I took my time getting dressed, wearing the usual emperor's gown I had grown attached to after seeing it in an anime. I loved its golden splendor and the majestic dragon that covered the upper body.

Stepping outside my bedroom I made my way towards the dining hall. Arriving there I found that, as always, Aurelia and Red were already there. Sitting down next to them, Ains, my personal head maid, brought me my breakfast. A plate filled with scrambled eggs and lots of ham and another with fluffy bread covered in cool honey.

Shortly after I had begun digging into my food, Rose came jumping into the dining hall with the usual spring in her steps. She sat next to me, being served the same food as me by Ains. Now please don't misunderstand, Ains is my maid. She just serves Rose breakfast too as Rose and I have similar culinary preferences.

Both her Majesty and Yellow were absent, the former was probably pulling another death march to finish the strategy game she had started two days ago. The later was definitely in her lab, tinkering around with structon or programming some software that gives me headaches from just looking at it.

"Hey Abel, I'm holding a tea party today in the afternoon, would you be interested in coming?"

"Don't tell me they're trying again!"

"Yes, they are. They never seem to get tired of it."

Who am I talking about? The destruction twins of course. The only other people except for us six that are stuck in this god's damned place. They've been trying to escape for the past 300 years but failed miserably every single time.

"Sure I'll come. But make sure the tea is to my liking, will you Aurelia."

Knowing Aurelia, Red, and Rose would now start discussing the details about the tea party I stood up and left for my workroom. I arrived there after a five-minute walk, pushing open the oaken doors I entered into my personal work area.

'I should really check on the new guy. He must be in the warden's room by now.'

Thinking this I reached out my consciousness, entering into the warden's room.

"It's good to have one of the strongest mages of the new generation in the team. You will begin your assignment as deputy warden tomorrow. Today I will be showing you around."

"Thank you, Sir, it's an honor to be here."

'So our new deputy warden is a woman and one of the strongest mages of the new generation huh. This will be interesting.'

Suddenly the door was yanked open and another figure entered while panting.

"I apologize for being late Sir, I didn't find the room."

"So you are the other deputy warden assigned here? I had been expecting someone stronger. Return to your rooms and prepare yourself. Meet me again here after lunch for the general orientation. Dismissed."

'You're awfully harsh there warden. The new guy isn't that bad, he just can't be honest with himself and awaken the true potential of his weapon.'

Reeling my consciousness back into my body, I approached my desk. On it, I found a stack of papers containing tons of information on one girl. She was the holder of the highest rank of all graduates of the magic academy. The reason I get this stack of paper? Every year all graduates of the elite class receive a mystic weapon, custom made for them, by me. They didn't even know of my existence, probably thought the weapons came from an ancient long-forgotten ruin. They even changed their grades! They just call them magic weapons with a numerical grade.

The weapon grades:

Common - normal

Uncommon - grade 1

Rare (much more durable, way sharper) - grade 2

Holy (blessed by a powerful individual)

Unique (one of a kind) - grade 3

Magic (magic abilities) - grade 4

Mystic (special abilities) - grade 5

Epic (A weapon from the tales of old) - grade 6

Ancient (old magic that you don't want to face) - grade 7

Soul (depends on imprint)

Dark liquid (dark elves/shadow servants only, properties unknown)

Origin (manifestation of world laws)

Divine (weapons of gods) - grade 8

Legendary - grade 9

(Note: weapons that do not have a corresponding grade are weapons of roughly equal power that cannot be made by "ordinary" means)

Back to the task at hand. I began reading through the notes compiled on my desk, learning everything I could for my dearest customer to get a satisfying weapon. After having busied myself for a couple of hours, I wolfed down a sandwich for lunch and made my way towards the tea party.

I passed through the halls still marveling at the storms that raged outside the barriers. This island was situated in the depths of the forgotten seas, storms and hurricanes were a daily occurrence here. Of course, that was if you could see it. The inner barriers were fitted with a powerful illusion spell, making it appear as though the sky was always clear and the sun would always shine during the day, while the full moon was visible every night. Not that such a shitty illusion could work on me, it was powerful... for normal people, not monsters like us.

As I arrived at the exit of the mansion, a wonderful garden greeted my eyes. This garden was Rose's doing, she worked here as a gardener or I guess you could say she worked as a cultivator of both flowers and herbs. Truth be told, half the output of the outside world's potion production was supported solely by Rose's garden.

Wandering through the garden I soon arrived at the other end. The garden ended in a steep slope, going down roughly three meters, transitioning into the broad road that leads to the gates. These gates were the only way to circumvent the multitude of barriers around the island, so of course, it had become the target of attack for the twins. At one point of the slope, an old fashioned stone pavilion had been built and was now used for our tea parties whenever the twins tried again.

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.

Young Master's PoV: Woke Up As A Villain In A Game One Day

"Now you see?" she shouted in a mix of annoyance and disappointment. "You can't outsmart Scrients! They're the most intelligent beings across the two realms." "You're right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a heavy sigh. "I made a mistake. I was too arrogant to think that a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "Heik! Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I'm not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait, you can't. I killed them all.” ______ My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid, pointless scuffle, and in the middle of it, I tripped and hit my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in - the memories of another life, of a different world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First, I was in a game I used to play in my past life. Second, I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool and mysterious kind, either. No, my destiny was to be manipulated and die a dog's death! I was the worst type of cliché: an ungrateful, privileged, insufferable young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. The kind everyone hates — a snobby brat from a powerful noble family who thinks he owns the world just because he was born with a silver spoon lodged in his mouth. You know the type. The one the hero beats to a pulp to prove his worth. Yeah, I was that guy. And the hero? The hero was the kid I’d been bullying all this time. The same one I got into a fight with. He was the supposed savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And at the end of it all, the final antagonist of the game, the undefeatable boss… the Spirit King, was waiting. But could I even make it to the end? Could I conquer a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that was now my reality! “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could, but I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, twisting the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains before they could become threats - nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected? Who cares! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me—my survival, my life, my choices. “I will live this life with no regrets.” …But as I soon discovered, fate was not easily changed. And the price of altering one's destiny was steep. ========== Discord Server: https://discord.gg/VjFQtDUaTR

First review! As of writing this, i have caught up on chapters, of which there are currently 58. Writing Quality: 5/5, there are few grammatical errors and certainly none that impede reading this story, and typically id give 4 stars because of this, however i left a comment most of the time when i saw them and the author fixed them. Overall, pretty good, could use a slight improvement. Updating Stability: 5/5, right now the author is updating 5 chapters a week, which is slightly below average, yet considering that this book has few viewers, thats already way more than i expected. Overall, great stability and good dedication. Story Development: 4/5, as is a problem with many OP protagonist stories, there are some plotholes regarding how he could easily solve situations, making it difficult to push the plot. However, besides a scant few situations, the author does a great job of this, making the story constantly move with a general theme. The reason i gave this 4 stars is because some things arent very clear, like why exactly he does something or what he is preparing for, as there is no actual explanation, you kind of have to piece it together yourself. I dont really like this as i read for leisure when i dont want to have to put my mind at work, so even if it seems as if youre explaining to idiots, it might be better. Overall, really interesting, just maybe explain things more obviously. Character Design: 5/5, i really like the MC and he makes logical and rational decisions. He is, of course, an OP protagonist who has a sort of cool and levelheaded personality. What i really like though, are the side characters. Each one is fleshed out with their own personality and motivations, really make the world feel as if its alive. The only thing i can nitpick about is that sometimes conversations seem too...unrealistic? For example, when MC was talking to this cartographer, he asked her if she wanted to learn about something important or life changing, i believe, and she immediately said somrthing like “maybe but now is not the time to do so.” This is a kind of mild example but just throughout your story maybe add some small things like saying “After thinking hard for a few moments, she made a decision and said” or just something along those lines, as it helps break up conversations. Overall, love it. World Background: 4/5, this universe is really fleshed out and its easy to tell that the author put a lot of time into thinking it up, and a main issue i have is the same as the plot development, like its somewhat hard to understand exactly what is what, like what is a world god? Is the realm that they were imprisoned the main realm or just another lower one? And its hard to know if you are right even if you do figure it out as there are no straight explanations. The only other real complaint i have is that, even after 58 chapters, im not sure of the tiers of mages and have to go back to check the grades of weapons. Overall, really good besides what i wrote. Really author, you have the makings of an incredible book right now, and some of the best advice I can give you is to give more straight explanations so readers dont have to figure it out themselves. I know i phrased some things poorly in this, after all im no writer, but i hope you at least got the main points. Ill definitely keep updated on your story, good luck!
