The Devil Mountain crushed onto the city wall and instantly devoured it. Those who did not manage to escape were trapped into the suction pad of the Devil Mountain.

Qin Feng saw the scene and picked up a sense of foreboding. He instantly sped up and caught up with the deity class Devil Mountain.

All of a sudden, the giant Devil Mountain was surrounded by fiery melted magma. His gigantic body that had crashed onto the city wall was struck by the fiery wall. He began to tremble and collapse downward.

The beast howled in grief, and it sounded like a bunch of ultra beasts roaring in rage. Also, it was like echoed noises from a valley, channelling trembling waves to strike everyone in the surroundings with a dizzy spell. Meanwhile, everyone within Greenlit City was running away. They knew that it was absolutely not a war that they could participate in.

Neil Bol was running faster than anyone else. But soon, he realized that the Devil Mountain did not follow through and he was entangled and held back by someone else.

Surprisingly, that person was not using ice runes but fire runes.

Scorching magma slowly expanded as the fire dragon that rose up had entangled around the body of the Devil Mountain and was biting on the stone mountains. Amidst the drastic exchange of high and low temperature, all of those stone mountains exploded, greatly reducing its defensive capabilities.

The Devil Mountain certainly did not give up. He blasted out water waves and tried to drown those mighty flames. But the difference in terms of numbers of runes between both sides was obviously worlds apart.

The Devil Mountain could only struggle to escape from his death.

Looking from afar, Neil Bol's curiosity had gradually taken over and he began to put on a doubtful expression.

"Why does this presence seem kind of familiar?!"

The appearance of a person would change, but not the presence. Neil Bol remembered Qin Feng's, although his presence had grown much stronger.

It was at that moment, a glowing blade exploded and shot up to the sky.

"Qin Feng, several powerful figures from other alliances are hoping that you could head over to help. Seems like they have not found any viable method to handle the Void Locust!"

Chapter 954: A "Useless" A-tier

There were indeed several S-tiers in the Amazon Alliance now. However, they were not there to help the Amazon Alliance to take on the beast waves. Indeed, they might slay a few dozens of ultra beasts when they see them; however, those were not their real target.

They had only one target—the S-tier Void Locust Kaiser.

Although the Void Locust Kaiser could conceal its own presence or retreat into the void, there was no way it could hide from four people with S-tier capabilities. It was like a volcano erupting into the middle of the sky—its own presence was too glaring to miss.

After locking onto its location, Bai Li activated her spatial tunnel before hopping into it with Qin Feng.

Meanwhile, in the outskirts of the city, the Void Locust Kaiser was flying in the sky. "Damn it!" West Lord cursed out loud.

This had happened ample times already; and there was nothing he could do to stop it from fleeing like this.

"Don't fret about it, big man. It seems that this isn't a problem that we can solve. Perhaps we should ask for an SS-tier to handle this. I heard Huaxia has one. His name is Li. We could ask them to deal with this insect." Vienna said to West Lord softly.

"We did ask the Huaxia Alliance to send help. And yet, all they did was send an A-tier over!" Oplan retorted grumpily. It was quite clear that Oplan was not satisfied with the Huaxia Alliance's decision.

They knew that Hu San was not in the Amazon Alliance. However, there seemed to be someone using S-tier abilities in the region to stop the beast waves. However, after doing a brief recon, they realized that it was just an A-tier ability user.

"He's just a weakling, useless A-tier. We can't have him join our battle. He is only strong enough to fight the beast waves down there!" West Lord grunted in dissatisfaction.

"I see. So, I'm not welcomed here." A fling of consciousness vibrated in their ears as two silhouettes darted toward them through a spatial tunnel.

The three S-tiers were surprised to see this. They did not sense anyone coming near them. Even when this person had gotten close to thousands of meters, they still did not detect his presence and consciousness. If this man were sent there to assassinate them, he could actually do it without much problem.

It took a few seconds for the S-tiers to realize that the one who shut and sealed the spatial rift was Bai Li, the girl dressed in white.

And Qin Feng's Thousand Spirit Chain Rend had landed on the Void Locust Kaiser's body. The Kaiser immediately took a leap backward as its body began to morph into a layer of black. This was a sign that it was entering into the void and if it succeeded, Qin Feng's attack would be wasted.

Suddenly, everyone could sense a pair of invisible talons lunging out and clutching the Void Locust Kaiser, forcefully grabbing it out of the void's entrance. It was then, another one of Qin Feng's attacks had been unleashed.

Seeing that it had no means of evading the attack, the Void Locust Kaiser was enraged as it let out a furious shriek before ramming straight at Qin Feng's Thousand Spirit Chain Rend! In an instance, the Void Locust Kaiser was able to crush the spirits to pieces.

There were over thousands of beast spirits in that attack. The spirits that were crushed were mostly low-tier spirits. There were several sturdier spirits that survived the attack by the Void Locust Kaiser—these were mainly the spirits of the beast king, emperors and deities.

There were over thousands of these spirits in the attack that Qin Feng unleashed. They had now surrounded the Void Locust Kaiser, ramming vehemently on its shell.

These spirits were not just "spirits"—they were also slashes unleashed by the Spirit Chain Rend.

As these spirits made contact on the shell, they turned into powerful slashes and forcibly cut on it, leaving holes and deep cuts behind. Out of the dozens of powerful spirits, two wolf spirits were the most vicious—they actually left a massive hole on the kaiser's shell.

The Void Locust Kaiser let out an excruciating shriek, showing that Qin Feng's attack had indeed harmed the creature—the creature that was impossible to land an attack on earlier.

West Lord and the others had tried to attack it for two days but were not able to leave even a dent on it. And yet, Qin Feng was able to not only stop it in its tracks but also harm it.

However, due to it being hurt, the Void Locust Kaiser was enraged. It glared at the humans before it as the space around began to distort, sandwiching them like two massive enclosing walls.

Not able to handle the extreme pressure from the spatial attack, the S-tiers leaped and backed away immediately.

Meanwhile, Qin Feng, who was in the middle of the battle, appeared to not be affected at all as several rays of silver light beamed around him—Bai Li was helping him fend off the spatial attacks with her abilities.

Then, Qin Feng continued on unleashing his Thousand Spirit Chain Rend, forcing the Void Locust Kaiser to continue retreating. It was, after all, still a creature belonging to the insect-type. Insectoids were usually weaker when compared individually to other beasts. They were usually able to survive and defeat enemies with their sheer numbers, not the power of one insectoid.

The Void Locust Kaiser was indeed powerful. However, it was still no match for Bai Li.

It might seem like it was Qin Feng who was the one dishing out the attacks that forced the Void Locust Kaiser to back away. However, in truth, Bai Li was the one that had been negating the insectoid's attacks, rendering them powerless.

The problem was, Bai Li's abilities would also weaken Qin Feng's attack. Thus, in order to deal the damage that Qin Feng was doing right now, it would take him a great deal of internal energy to do so. Fortunately for him, he had a large amount of internal energy supply—all nine starglobes of them.

After fighting for three hours, the sky began to turn dark as night slowly encroached. Qin Feng's presence was getting more and more prevalent and yet difficult to lock onto. When night finally fell, Qin Feng's Phantom Shift made it impossible for the Void Locust Kaiser to locate him at all.

Right now, the Void Locust Kaiser was severely wounded. Its silver blood dripped onto the ground again and again, which then solidified and became spatial stones.

If things went on like this for a little while longer, the Void Locust Kaiser would definitely meet its demise soon.

Knowing just what would happen if it were to stay and fight, the Void Locust Kaiser pondered for a moment before turning tail to flee away.

"Spatial Seal!"

Bai Li unleashed her ability, intending to stop the bug from leaving.

However, this time, the Void Locust Kaiser was determined to retreat from the scene. It rammed its head straight at the spatial barrier that Bai Li had formed, hurting its own head while crushing the Spatial Seal.

Then, without hesitation, the Void Locust Kaiser quickly activated its spatial runes, blinking several times and sending itself thousands of meters away.

Bai Li had used the same trick before to bring her and Qin Feng to travel a vast distance. However, it was rather difficult to switch to the fast-travelling skill mid-combat. To catch up to the insectoid at the same speed would be impossible for any ordinary ability user.

The S-tiers were shocked when they saw this.

"We can't let it escape!"

"Quick! We've got to catch up to it!"

The S-tiers were anxious as they wanted to give chase. Qin Feng, however, had stopped moving.

"There's no need to go after it." Qin Feng stopped Bai Li from activating her teleporting skill.

"Why are you not giving chase?! You were that close to killing it!" Oplan asked.

"Why don't you do it then? Your lightning is rather fast. Perhaps if you give chase now, you could actually steal the kill." Qin Feng said.

If a spatial beast were to flee, there was no one that could catch up to it. Thus, instead of chasing after it, it was better for one to wait for it to reappear and then finish it off.

"You! How can you be so reckless? We can't allow this creature to go around unchecked! Who knows how many humans it would kill when we're not looking?" Vienna spoke in contempt.

"You could always scout around to find it. But this time, you better contact me right away so we could actually kill it. Unless you still think that I, an A-tier, am still someone useless in this fight. If that's the case, I'd save my breath and not bother looking for it if I were you." Qin Feng said to the S-tiers before nodding to Bai Li.

Seeing this, Bai Li opened up a spatial tunnel and teleported both of them away, leaving the tongue-tied S-tiers behind.

Chapter 956: Lava Crevice

Originally, these S-tiers were here to earn themselves some fame and recognition. They did not expect things to turn out like this.

However, they could not just retreat now. It would seem like they had fled from the battle after suffering a major defeat.

After all, the Human Alliance was a huge organization. Many people in the alliance would know if they had signed up for a mission; this would mean that if they had gone back without finishing the job, they would be a laughing stock in the Human Alliance.

This was why they felt that they could not just up and retreat.

Nonetheless, they also felt that they had signed up for a difficult task right now.

Qin Feng, on the other hand, did not seem to care at all and kept on slaying the ultra beasts that appeared in the beast waves.

Due to the Void Locust Kaiser having exhausted so many spirits from Qin Feng's Verdant Emperor Saber, Qin Feng could now absorb spirits from the fallen ultra beasts again. To him, the Void Locust Kaiser had sort of become an excellent whetstone for his saber. At the same time, the Void Locust Kaiser had gone into hiding to heal its wounds, not daring to appear in front of humans after being beaten up by Qin Feng.

Vienna and her teammates swept the entire area for three whopping days; and there was no sign of the Void Locust Kaiser. When they were about to give up, the Void Locust Kaiser emerged again. This time, it even destroyed an entire city.

Qin Feng too had sensed its appearance.

"Let's take a look."

Bai Li opened up a spatial tunnel and brought Qin Feng into it.

In a short leap, Qin Feng had now appeared about one hundred meters away in front of the spatial beast. There were wailings of horror and pain throughout the city that was ruined by it. Not only that, there was a huge rift that had opened up on the land.

Qin Feng recognized this place—it was the Firework Mountain.

The Firework Mountain was originally a volcano. However, after its fire runes had been completely devoured by Qin Feng, Firework Mountain had become a dead volcano.

However, the land was slowly recovering as time went by. Due to the geographical changes that were made from Qin Feng's battle in the area, people began to come to this place to form a community—much like how Greenlit City was revitalized after Qin Feng was done with the place.

However, this new community that was formed in the Firework Mountain had been completely destroyed.

The mountain was crushed open, leaving a huge crevice. And the Void Locust Kaiser did not seem satisfied with the damage it had done and kept on ramming on the ground, creating a massive ravine. To the city that was built next to the dead volcano, it was a total disaster. Each ram from the Void Locust Kaiser felt like a Level 10 earthquake, which caused all the buildings in the city to collapse. Many civilians were crushed to their deaths. The ability users that were stationed there were completely powerless against the S-tier monstrosity.

Qin Feng hovered in the sky as he gawked at Void Locust Kaiser ramming open a massive rift in the crevice—this rift looked like the one he saw underneath Dragon Island.

Qin Feng was quite surprised to see this.

"The energy that is coming from it is so potent!" Bai Li said.

Sure enough, there was a powerful energy bursting out from the rift that the Void Locust Kaiser had opened up.

"Watch out!"

Qin Feng grabbed Bai Li's hand before zipping to the side, bringing both of them out of the way.

Booom!

The rift suddenly exploded! The dead volcano had erupted again, with lava splurging out of the rift like fireworks.

Qin Feng could sense a potent energy from the lava, much like the terrifying presence he had sensed from Dragon Island.

However, this time the volcano's energy felt much more terrifying than the one he felt from Dragon Island. Cold could knock you out without making a sound. Fire, however, could make your death as loud as a carnival.

However, despite how loud and threatening this explosion was, the energy that came out of it was not as powerful as the one Qin Feng witnessed from Dragon Island. Regardless, Qin Feng could still feel the energy overwhelming his body.

When the S-tiers rushed to the scene, the Void Locust Kaiser also saw Qin Feng.

Screech!!

The Void Locust Kaiser hesitated for a moment before diving into the lava.

Qin Feng was surprised to see this.

"Aren't bugs afraid of fire? How could it go into the lava?"

"Perhaps the starglobe's power is too weak to stop it. Besides, it could phase through anything if it wants."

"Let's go in too!"

"Okay!"

Thus, Bai Li summoned a ray of silver light to envelop her and Qin Feng before sending them both into the lava.

West Lord, Vienna and Oplan reached the scene just in time to witness Qin Feng and Bai Li going into the lava. Their faces turned grim when they saw this.

"They want to go into the core!" West Lord wanted to follow them but he stopped. He knew there was no way he could handle the lava.

Vienna too decided to not give chase. Although she was a water ability user and thus had a chance against the fierce fire, the great heat was too much for her. With this much heat and fire, any drop of water would be evaporated in less than a second.

Thus, she sat down and began to meditate, absorbing the vibrant energy in the area.

Although they knew that if these energies were depleted, this realm's death would come sooner. However, if they did not absorb the energies that were seeping through the rift now, it would all still be wasted.

However, Oplan had a different idea. He clenched his teeth before leaping into the lava; but as he got close to it, a pillar of light emerged from the lava and rammed him away.

"Ughh!"

Oplan threw up blood as his body plopped on the ground. The lava had burned him to a crisp.

More importantly, despite his effort, Oplan could not go near the lava, much less enter it.

"How? How could they go down there but I can't?!" Oplan felt so disheartened by how powerless he was.

Qin Feng and Bai Li could enter the lava because they used spatial runes.

As such, even though Qin Feng had travelled through the lava, he was not able to absorb any energy along the way.

He looked around and noticed that the surrounding area was nothing but a shade of crimson red.

And the Void Locust Kaiser was flying right in front of them.

"Attack it!"

"But it could also attack us!" Bai Li replied anxiously.

"Don't be afraid."

Qin Feng had changed into his Divine Flame Imperial Robe. In less than a minute, a layer of barrier began to emerge around them.

Seeing this, Bai Li worked up the courage to fling a beam of silver ray at the Void Locust Kaiser.

In an instant, the silver ray exploded and enveloped the Void Locust Kaiser in a layer of spatial runes.

Then, in a few silver ripples, the Void Locust Kaiser was kicked out by Bai Li's abilities.

When it got out of the void, the lava hit Void Locust Kaiser's body and began to burn it.

Screech!!

The Void Locust Kaiser let out an excruciating screech as it felt its body being burned and roasted.

Then, a cube-like energy encased its whole body—it had willed in a spatial cube to shield itself from the lava.

After seeing that it was now safe, the Void Locust Kaiser leaped into the void again. It threw an agonizing glare at Qin Feng and Bai Li as the spatial cube around it disappeared.

Qin Feng responded with a threat via his consciousness.

"Leave, or die!"

This realm was Qin Feng's homeworld. He would never allow another dominating creature to come and endanger it.

However, the Void Locust Kaiser did not respond well to his threat. It let out a furious screech before lunging at him with its silver spatial runes.

This time, it was Qin Feng and Bai Li that were kicked out of the void.

Qin Feng immediately activated his barrier to shield them against the lava. Perhaps the fire runes in the lava were almost as strong as Qin Feng's runes, the barriers could only handle them for about five seconds before the massive energy began crushing at Qin Feng's consciousness.

Qin Feng felt as though his head was about to explode.

Chapter 957: Reborn From the Flame

"Absorb!"

Energy in the surroundings was once again engulfed by Qin Feng's limitless appetite.

"Spatial Leap!"

Bai Li cast the spatial skill and both of them once again leaped into the void.

"Don't you run!"

The deeper they went, the more anxious Bai Li got. She never expected the Void Locust Kaiser to be this persistent.

But it was entirely understandable. In such a realm nearing its demise, the energy core left by the Immortal would be at its weakest. This was the only time one could get near enough and snatch the core into their personal dimension.

The energy emanated by the Immortal's core was absurdly powerful. If one could get hold of the core, then the fearsome power could be controlled like how one harnessed the energy engraved in a sacred stone.

Qin Feng was not sure about the Void Locust Kaiser's intention. He only knew that the energy core might be destroyed if the Void Locust Kaiser were to recklessly rip a giant rift in there.

If the core were to explode, then inevitably the blue star would instantly collapse, too. Qin Feng would not allow it.

'Faster!' Qin Feng was growing uneasy. Before he even said anything, Bai Li had sensed the urgency and quickened their pace.

However, both she and the Void Locust Kaiser were deity-tier spatial beasts. Bai Li could barely shorten the gap between them.

When they were at the Aether Realm, the time needed to reach the energy core from Dragon Island was more than ten days. Now that they were traveling through Spatial Teleportation, they had passed through the lava layer in less than half a day.

A different world came into sight.

The center was filled with a translucent, amber-colored flowing liquid.

The liquid was as viscous as molten metal. Infused by energy, the liquid radiated violently.

In facing the dangerous and unstable substance, Qin Feng did not dare to let Bai Li attack the Void Locust Kaiser.

If the Void Locust Kaiser decided to retaliate, Qin Feng did not know whether they could muster enough resistance without triggering the liquid.

"You can't pass through that. Give up now, or I will make you," Qin Feng warned infuriatingly.

The Void Locust Kaiser ignored him and continued to teleport forward.

They had no other choice but to chase after it.

Slowly, a starglobe came into sight.

Even from afar, the starglobe looked humongous. The globe appeared idle. Fire runes flickered dimly and sparingly on its surface.

It was a scarlet core. Instead of scorching heat, Qin Feng felt warmth as they approached it.

More so, he felt connected to it.

He was born on this starglobe. The core seemed to recognize that and was embracing him.

Qin Feng was an orphan. This warmth must be how a mother's hug felt, he reckoned.

Actually, he should not be feeling any temperature as he was leaping through an isolated realm.

But the unexplainable, vivid sensation lingered.

Qin Feng got a better look at the globe as they drew closer to it. The ice starglobe's diameter in the Aether Realm was at least three hundred meters wide. The scarlet starglobe in front of him had only ten meters left now.

Without vast energy surrounding it, the core could be easily absorbed by an S-tier.

It was no different for the Void Locust Kaiser.

That was the reason why it was rushing here.

Qin Feng commanded as he saw that the Void Locust Kaiser was getting closer and closer to the core.

"Attack!"

Bai Li did not hesitate. Her spatial runes charged straight at the Void Locust Kaiser.

The Void Locust Kaiser did not expect Bai Li to launch an attack this close to the core. It retaliated furiously.

Spatial runes exploded within the realm. Qin Feng reflexively pushed Bai Li away.

She managed to get away in time but Qin Feng was not as lucky. The shockwave hit Qin Feng and blasted him as well as the Void Locust Kaiser out of the realm. They both plunged into the amber pool.

Instantly, Qin Feng felt the water rippling through every cell in his body.

Boom!

A flame ignited on Qin Feng's body.

Rapidly, the Divine Flame Imperial Robe on him was burnt away. His battle suit caught fire and disappeared in no time too. Even his Verdant Emperor Saber was on the verge of melting.

Bai Li's eyes rounded in despair.

"I am fine!" A sound came through her consciousness.

In the next moment, Qin Feng began to move inside the energy pool. He retrieved the saber into one of his spatial rings, then endured the infusion of the amber energy.

He was indeed in pain as his cells were scorched by the amber liquid. But almost immediately, new cells proliferate to replace the destroyed old cells.

The fire could be destructive, but could also nurture new life.

Qin Feng's physique was already sturdy. Yet, the flame seemed to have further reconstructed his body. His physique did not instantly level up but its potential was raised to a new, limitless height.

He did not indulge in the upgrade for too long but hastily jumped into the air.

"Rampage Influx!"

Qin Feng burst into speed and landed on the back of the Void Locust Kaiser. He grabbed its wings tightly.

"You can't run this time!"

Chirp!

The Void Locust Kaiser shrieked pathetically. In contrast to Qin Feng, it faced a different fate after being dropped into the liquid. The flame had softened its outer shell considerably.

Qin Feng did not draw his Verdant Emperor Saber. He believed in his physique more at this point.

Crack!

Qin Feng tore the Void Locust Kaiser's wing brutally. Silver-colored blood spurted out from the lesion and turned into spatial stone immediately.

A normal beast would have dropped dead at this point. But being a spatial beast, the Void Locust Kaiser was far more resistant to all the other types of runes.

But such resistance still had its limit. The beast was not invincible.

Qin Feng extended his arms and grabbed on the next pair of wings. He tore off the rest of its wings.

The Void Locust Kaiser was half-submerged in the amber liquid while being attacked by Qin Feng from the back. It wanted to trigger a spatial rift to escape but found that its power was being suppressed by even greater strength.

Qin Feng stepped on its body and strolled to its head.

In the next moment, he raised his fist and struck it right between its antenna.

Crack!

His fist was buried deep into the Void Locust Kaiser's head.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Qin Feng threw his fist relentlessly. He smashed the head into a mush until his entire body sank into it.

The red liquid flowed down and was wrapped around the beast. It had lost all signs of vitality. The Void Locust Kaiser had stiffened into a giant spatial stone.

Boom!

Qin Feng's consciousness rocked the space around him, signifying its upgrade!

A6-tier!

Chapter 958: Return to the Surface

Bai Li reached out to Qin Feng who was bathed by the flowing amber fluid. Worry was written all over her eyes.

Qin Feng waved his hand and handed the body of the Void Locust Kaiser to her instead. He could not store the spatial stone in his own spatial equipment.

Bai Li kept the giant stone into her dimension and once again extended her hand to him. She wanted to pull Qin Feng away from the dangerous-looking liquid as soon as possible.

Qin Feng's gaze fell on the fire core. He was having mixed feelings.

The core made him feel at home. He now finally knew how warm and assuring a mother's touch was. Qin Feng swore that he would protect the core with all his might, no matter the cost.

He took a final look, then grabbed Bai Li's hand. The contact immediately drew him back into Bai Li's dimension.

Covered by the silver spatial runes, the amber flame was immediately extinguished. Bai Li stared at him amusingly and poked his bare chest.

Now only did Qin Feng realize that his battle suit, as well as the Divine Flame Imperial Robe, had been melted away by the flame.

Though he lamented the loss of an S-tier armor, the Imperial Robe was not that useful since it could not fend off the core's energy anyway.

Besides, he did gain something in this journey. Though he did not consciously absorb the runes from the core, some of them were imbued into his body.

Through that, he had mastered a new fire-type ability.

His consciousness immediately recognized the ability as Flare of Death.

It sounded ordinary but Qin Feng believed its force had to be comparable to that of the Finger of Death or Cold Whisper of Death since the three skills were named similarly.

This alone was worth the trip.

"Let's return," Qin Feng said. Bai Li held his hand and disappeared in a flash.

They move speedily and cautiously. Bai Li did not want to expose them to danger on their way up.

A day had passed by the time they returned to the original location. Other than the S-tiers led by West Lord, there were a dozen more ability users there. Fang Zhou, who Qin Feng had collaborated with, was there too.

There was also an S-tier who was in charge of the West Region.

Finally, Qin Feng saw him. A familiar face, but he was a foe, not a friend.

He was no doubt a handsome-looking man in his twenties. His eyes were as sharp as an eagle. His stare could almost poke a burning hole through a person.

The snow robe on him was decorated by a pattern in gold. It glowed in a way that only an S-tier armor would have.

Eye Devil.

Eye Devil did not show himself when the fierce battle first broke out in the Amazon Alliance. Even though he was the strongest elect of this region, he did not care one bit about this place because he was a member of the Dark Coalition.

But the profuse core energy that leaked out from the rift opened by the S-tier Void Locust Kaiser had successfully intrigued him. He came eventually and trained amidst the thick energy.

The elects here had all come for the same reason.

Qin Feng and Bai Li's reappearance had caught their attention.

"Qin Feng!" The guardian of the West had met Qin Feng before and he greeted him.

"Pleased to meet you, Mr. Han Guangming!" Qin Feng nodded and led Bai Li over.

Though they had little interaction before, Qin Feng knew him through the database stored in the Human Alliance town. In fact, he now owned the details of all S-tiers, especially those from Huaxia.

This was not the time for formality. Han Guangming asked anxiously, "Qin Feng, did you manage to catch the Void Locust Kaiser? How's the geo heart?"

The location of the Immortal's energy core was known as the geo heart even before the end of times. Its name had been retained till this day.

Qin Feng had made up the explanation on their way back. He said immediately, "The energy in there is formidable. We can't get anywhere near it. After chasing it for a while, the Void Locust Kaiser wanted to turn back. We cornered it and forced it deeper down the lava. In the end, it was killed by the scorching heat. I guess we kind of accomplished the mission."

Qin Feng did not reveal that he had seen the core. If it was this easy to reach, the elites from the Dark Coalition would definitely be eyeing it.

"Great job!" Han Guangming commended. Fang Zhou nodded delightfully too.

West Lord, in contrast, was not as pleased. In the end, Qin Feng had once again gotten the benefits.

"How about the beast's carcass? You might have let it escape and you are lying to us." Oplan said grimly.

Oplan was thrown out when he tried to follow the Void Locust Kaiser and Qin Feng into the lava crevice. He was clearly discontent that an A-tier was having better luck than him.

Qin Feng glared at Oplan emotionlessly. He was not at all offended. Besides, Oplan's outlook was rather comical right now after being ejected from the rift.

Bai Li rebutted, "You want to see the carcass? I can show you. But please don't tell me you want a piece of it. You have no right since you can't even touch the Locust's shell!"

Oplan gritted his teeth and said, "I am not that shameless. Our contribution will be rewarded by the alliance. I just want to see the body for confirmation."

"Do you guys concur?" Qin Feng looked at West Lord and Vienna.

Since Oplan had already said so, and they were both wary of Bai Li, they did not dare to object.

Instinctively, they were intimidated by Bai Li. They knew she was a very different creature and yet, she was unusually obedient to Qin Feng. That was enough to deter them.

"That's right, we just want to see it to be sure."

"If you are lying, then we will be in grave danger without knowing it."

Qin Feng nodded at Bai Li after he had their word. Bai Li thus opened her dimension and took out the Locust's carcass.

The body had been largely melted by the core. It looked like a melting silver ornament. No one doubted Qin Feng's claim now after seeing the large spatial stone.

The outcome was a huge blow to West Lord and others. They were disappointed that Qin Feng had indeed captured the Void Locust Kaiser.

"Alright, this is not the time to dwell on this. You can put that away," Han Guangming said to Bai Li. He knew this belonged to Bai Li and Qin Feng. Even though he could not get it, he would not allow others to bully his comrade from Huaxia.

Bai Li did as she was told. Qin Feng looked at the giant rift thoughtfully. It seemed the strata could not stop the core's energy from leaking out. It would be devastating if the rift was left unsealed.

"We should evacuate the people around here. I will have people seal this rift up," Han Guangming said. This was his purpose from the beginning. He was an earth ability user.

Apparently, not everyone agreed with his decision.

"Don't worry about the things that are happening inside the Amazon Alliance." Eye Devil opened his eyes. The gleam from his eyes immediately lit up the world around them.

Chapter 959: I Will Return Three Hits

Eye Devil was a light-type S-tier ability user. Ironically, he belonged to the dark side.

This indicated that the ability learned did not necessarily portray one's will. True, a dark ability user would fall easily to the wrong side, but that did not mean that a light ability user could not be a hypocrite.

Nonetheless, Eye Devil was not a hypocrite. He had always been this cruel. His unforgiving nature was the epitome of being cold-blooded.

Eye Devil did not care what destruction the rift might cause. He only knew that this would greatly benefit him.

Being an overbearing brute his entire life, Eye Devil had no room for reasoning.

He was not afraid of the seven Human Alliances' users, or even Qin Feng who had just returned from the core unscathed.

This was because Eye Devil was the most powerful among them. He had attained S9-tier and was only one step away from breaking through to SS-tier. This rift came at the right time and was vital to him.

The rest of the aptitude users scowled out of annoyance. But it was futile to reason with Eye Devil.

Qin Feng bravely stepped out.

"Eye Devil, I wonder if you still remember me?"

Eye Devil turned to Qin Feng. Blinding lights immediately shone on him. An internal force shield in front of Qin Feng blocked the threatening radiance, enabling him to stare at the assaulter's eyes.

Eye Devil was stunned by the sturdiness of Qin Feng's internal force shield. Not even an S-tier could cast such durable armor. But his face quickly turned emotionless again.

"I don't usually remember a nobody."

Qin Feng smirked. Not offended, he said, "I hope you won't change your mind after today."

Eye Devil's eyes were filled with disdain. To him, this was a joke, a clown show.

"Do you need a lesson?"

"Well, you did that a year ago, remember? You hit me good, in fact, three times with your light beam. Not only that but another beam chased me all the way back to the Huaxia Alliance. My loss was rather substantial then. It's time for me to return the three hits."

Qin Feng was sent packing by Eye Devil helplessly during that fight. This was a good time to return the favor.

Qin Feng's words reminded Eye Devil about him. A lowly B-tier aptitude user had become an A-tier in just one year. Such a leveling speed was indeed frightening.

As a member of the Dark Coalition, Eye Devil knew he must crush the rivaling prodigy in front of him.

To Eye Devil, only he deserved to be called a prodigy. The others were simply fakes.

"Since you want a quick death, I will make your wish come true," Eye Devil said coldly. He would not allow Qin Feng to release his ability. A giant eyeball immediately emerged above him.

The eyeball was actually the materialization of Eye Devil's ability core. It was wrapped by a specific god weapon. The weapon could condense the ability and amplify its power.

The eyeball was half-close at first, which then suddenly opened wide. A blinding illumination burst out from it and pierced Qin Feng's eyes.

"Be careful!" Fang Zhou was concerned. He eyed the battle closely and was prepared to assist Qin Feng.

The others, on the other hand, were having a different thought.

"What an arrogant kid! This is suicide!"

"How ignorant could he be to provoke Eye Devil so blatantly?"
