"I am not going to be the one that's going to give him 'that' you know, just saying." VV said with a harrumph and snide in his tone.

"Alright, I'll do it then." CC said with an eye roll, feeling exasperated.

'This shorty is really salty, tsk tsk' Marianne thought inwardly while showing her distaste clearly with her expression to VV.

"I will accept after you tell me what 'that' is because I am really curious now. And also it seems that you guys aren't going to let me go if I declined.

You even told me some big secrets like you plan for prince Charles' enthronement." Alister said in acceptance with a sigh.

'Yeah, you wouldn't be able to escape if you refused. I mean, you should have refused! So I can legitimately just take care of you! Why did you accept?!' Is what VV thought with frowning.

"It's a supernatural power, that is what 'that' we are talking about!" Lady Marianne said excitedly with a big smile.

"It's not something too magical though, and it's called... Geass." CC said a bit slowly with some kind of suspense.

"Geass?" Alister said subconsciously then he looked down with a hand in his chin in a thinking pose.

This is just him trying to act cool before doing a big reveal though.

"How about it? Are you excited to get one?" Marianne said eagerly.

"So it is geass huh. I don't want it then." Alister in a neutral voice and tone with an expressionless face.

"Huh/what?" everyone but Alister exclaimed.

"See this?" Alister said while opening up his polo slight, just the upper part to reveal his geass code mark, just below his collar bone at the center of his chest.

Everyone was shocked, surprised and dumbfounded.

Charles's, VV's and CC's eyes constricted into dots from the revelation.

Charles even sprayed his tea from his mouth to VV from the shock and surprise.

While Marianne, although shock is also quite puzzled at what it signified.

Alister then continued saying "I thought I was the only one for a long time now." while acting all cool and edgy as fuck.

"Damn it!" VV shouted with vexation.

"Yes, really. When did you get it?" CC said in agreement to VV's exclamation and also asked with real curiosity at the end.

"At the early 1900s from a priest." Alister said, now with a smug on his face.

Charles is still in a daze and can't follow up with the ridiculousness of this situation.

"Damn! Damn! Damn it all! What the hell!" VV shouted furiously and hysterically.

"So how is life, living for so long?" CC asked with intense curiosity with some sympathy.

"It's been good. I didn't get insane yet or something. In fact, I am enjoying life even until now." Alister said with a big smile.

"Wait! Have you given anyone geass right now?" VV asked with a frown after calming down and thinking things through.

That question woke Charles up from his dazed state, then rapt up with attention.

Everyone except Marianne trailed their gazes at Alister with concentration.

"Nah, I have not given geass to anyone at all from the very start when I got the code.

Although I instinctively know that I can give other people the power of geass." Alister said with a thoughtful look.

"Good! At least there won't be any need for cleansing or something." VV said with relief in his tone and expression.

Charles also nodded with relief upon hearing my answer to VV's question.

Marianne is starting to get confused because she can't follow the topic. After all, she is new to their group and she just got her own geass too.

"Have you ever thought of giving geass now?" CC said still with burning curiosity.

"Eh? No. I don't want to. I think I will never give any geass myself. I don't think I will ever tire of living, you know~." Alister replied to CC's question.

He continued "Base from what I heard till now, You and VV should also be code holders right?" with a questioning look.

"Hmph." VV answered with a grumpy snort and a sour face.

"Yes." CC replied with a nod and a smile.

Alister took a bit of time in silence while refilling his tea and taking a sip of it.

Specially since the tea used here is quite the expensive kind. The kind that can only be bought with connections and favors.

"I didn't have anyone to explain to me for stuff related to the code and I didn't try to research about it too.

So I am just gonna ask you both. Can you still use the power of geass?" I asked with seriousness.

'I asked this question because my previous life's memories tells me that you lose the power of geass when you get the code and become immortal.

But then, How am I able to still use mine?

I didn't bother to think about it before because I don't have anyone to compare and I don't know where to get information about it too.

But now, I am going to at least find out the situation of other code holders.' is what Alister thought of at this time.

"No." CC and VV answered at the same time and quite quickly.

"Sigh. And here I thought I would be able to get back my geass." Alister said while acting regretful.

But inside, this is what he is thinking 'Fuck! Then why am I able to use my own geass?'

"You want to get your geass back? Why? And what was your geass anyway?" CC asked quickly with intrigue.

VV just snorted on side again.

I as the narrator already thinks that he might become a pig after a few more times.

"You guys don't have geass yourself?" Lady Marianne asked after hearing our topic of discussion.

"Yes, we can only give geass and not have one ourselves." CC explained to poor Marianne that has been confused for a while now.

"Anyways. My geass before is able to make me smarter than I already am. Like really smarter. That's why I really want it back." Alister said while acting regretful, still.

He asked them back " So, how about you two?"

Even though Alister was still talking to them with distance before but now he is acting like he had known them for quite a while now.
