I wave toward the people in front of me as I walk to the magic circle in the middle of the village. One month, that is how long I stay in this village. It looks like the company wants me to completely heal all the people in this village before I can go back home.

That means I also need to heal the people that look like they are healthy.

With the last goodbye being said, I walk inside the magic circle, and a second later, a bright light consumes me.

I shake the dizziness and see that I'm back inside my room. I look at the clock and read the sticky note on the table.

"The time did not move at all."

I snap from my thoughts when I feel my phone vibrating. I take it out of my pocket and see a notification from the company.

Haaaa… Lately, there are too many jobs from the Association. Most of the job is to exterminate the rogue magician that is terrorizing many places at the same time. Grauzauberer already lost some of its members hunting those rogues, and because of that, the chief decided to send me here.

This city is the last known location of the rogue magician from the association. His name is Ace Ventura, the Animal Whisperer. He is a master tamer that can even tame a full-grown Hippogriff. An animal that is known for its aggressive nature against anything.

Ace already killed twenty magicians that came to capture him. Seeing that number, the chief decided to release a kill order. This is why he sent me to hunt Ace.

What makes him dangerous is that he has a Sacred Gear that is compatible with him. It was called Mirror World. This Sacred Gear let him open up a portal to an empty world mirroring the Earth. In this world, he stores all his beast.

From the report, he should have at least fifty beasts inside his mirror world. Ranging from Hippogriff to Basilisk. All of them have a high magic resistance skin or scale. While I did not want to use my sacred gear in this fight, I will use it if the situation worsens.

The paperwork needed to be signed too much for me when I decided to summon my Sacred Gear. When I summon Yuki, the three-meter doll made of ice, the area around me will freeze up in an instant.

"Keh! Mephisto Pheles is nothing but a lazy devil! He kept following the old way and did not want to explore the infinite option of magic!"

I raised one eyebrow when he said that. The chief is not an old type. He is willing to follow the more modern magic and continue to experiment as much as he can. However, he knows which magic cannot be experimented on, and it looks like Ace experiments that kind of magic and loses his mind to madness.

I still remember what the chief said to me.

After saying that, I summon one hundred magic circles and say.
