Near the edge

Julian and the other three kept walking until the village they've stayed in disappeared from their sight. Julian looked at Amara with a doubtful expression,

"Where is the Wallaker?"

Amara glazed at Julian and let out a soft sigh,

"It's a little further ahead."

She pointed her finger at a massive hill that stood in front of them. The three of them looked at each other and shrugged. Soon after Amara started climbing, the three of them followed behind her. They kept walking on a narrow path as they came across a Waterfall. Amara grabbed on the rocky wall and looked behind her,

"We have to go through this Waterfall."

The three of them looked at Amara dumbfound. Amara sighed and went behind the Waterfall. Amber gasped and smiled, placing a finger near her chin,

"so, it's a secret tunnel?"

After Amber said it, Bruno agreed with her. They followed Amara into a cold tunnel. After walking a few meters ahead. Amara grabbed the torch that was attached to the rocky wall. The light of the torch made the pathway much easier to see as they exit the tunnel safely. The moment they left the tunnel, sunlight hit against their faces. Amber closed her eyes and placed her hand over her eyes, squirting her eyes so she could get herself a better view. When she opened her eyes, she could see the kingdom lying before her. Her eyes started to shine with amazement. She couldn't believe a beautiful Kingdom as such could even exist.

"Wow, it's beautiful…"

Julian looked at the kingdom with amazement as well and, he couldn't believe his own eyes. He started to mutter some words out,

"So this is Kingdom Wallaker…?"

Amara chuckled after seeing their expressions. She smiled softly and asked them to follow her to the palace. They walked behind Amara, climbing down the rocky hill. Bruno helped Amber to get down on the grassy ground. Amber gently smiled at Bruno and spoke with a gentle voice,

"Thank you."

Bruno shook both of his hands and smiled nervously,

"Don't worry about it."

They both started to laugh softly. Julian started to get annoyed by their chattering so, He raised his voice,

"Are you two done chatting?! If you two aren't, don't bother coming!"

They both started to apologize and started to follow Amara and Julian. They end up in a pathway that led to the entrance. They walked inside the kingdom grounds as, came across a massive gate that was wide open and, anyone could come and go. Julian wore his hoodie before he entered. Amber looked around the small shops, houses, and people gossiping, chatting, and laughing. In the middle of the city, there was a fountain with children playing and older people resting. Some sealers started to pressure Amber to buy some fresh seafood but, she decided to reject them, but Bruno bought her some saltwater candy. Amber smiled brightly and started to eat them.

After going towards the palace, Amara showered her tattoo that was on her wrist. The guards quickly opened the gates for us, there was a cement bridge and, the water was surrounding the palace, there were some statues of mermaids around the kingdom walls, they were holding massive pouts where the water kept pouring into the pound that surrounded the kingdom.

The gates opened up after they got closer to the door. They walked in immediately. The king of Wallaker kingdom was standing near the entrance. He looked at them with a warm and gentle smile.

He had tan skin with dark blue hair, like a beautiful waterfall. His eyes were like the clear afternoon sky, was wearing a blue crystal headband around his forehead. He was wearing Greek clothing as well with Golden sandals.

"Welcome, Julian."

His eyes shifted towards Julian. He did not stop smiling when he saw Julian's surprised face. Julian removed his hoodie and revealed his bright yellow hair and his deep flaming eyes.

"so you found out, your majesty?"

Julian walked ahead, passing Amara as well. He kneeled and clenched his fist and placed it near his chest, lowering his head. The other male laughed. He kept his staff under Julian's chin, made him lift his head. He started to speak with a mocking tone,

"So far, no king from Xaya kingdom bowed or kneeled before another king. Your kingdom is the most prideful from all others and, that's why your kingdom is now an outcast."

Julian tried his best to hold back the fuming anger he was feeling. King Cleon narrowed his crystal cold eyes at Julian when his eyes get covered by the string of hair that fell over his forehead.

"Excuse us, your majesty, but we need your power to destroy this darkness that's blooming from the ground."

Cleon raised his eyebrow, impressed how Julian could talk to him after being insulted like that. He sighed and perked his lips a bit,

"I can't put my kingdom at risk because of what your father did."

Amber looked at Julian with surprise and confusion. Julian went completely quiet after listing to King Cleon. Even though Julian went silent, Cleon didn't stop speaking,

"I'm not blaming you for your father's actions, but I wouldn't think twice to protect my kingdom over other kingdoms."

Julian got back on his feet and bowed his head. He started to reply to King Cleon with a disappointed tone,

"Apologies for coming here unannounced. Please excuse us."

Julian turned around and then looked at Bruno and Amber and mumbled something softly,

"Let's go."

Amber looked surprised with Julian's actions, and then she glazed at Cleon. He just watched Julian walk away. The moment they were about to leave. A young boy's voice echoed throughout the room. The three of them turned around. The young boy grabbed King Cleon's arm and started to beg,

"Please, father! We barely get travelers here, so at least let them stay."

Cleon looked at the young boy as he kept holding onto his arm tightly and giving him a pitiful glaze. Cleon groaned and cleared his throat,

"you four can stay here as long as you all desire to…but never bring the topic of the acquire stone."

Cleon turned his back at them and walked inside the palace. The young boy and a man who looked like a guard approached them. The boy looked just like king Cleon, but he had shaded blue with white. The man had tan skin and dull blue color hair. He also had a bandana and a sword that was attached to his belt. Another belt was around his chest, looking like armor that protected the chest area. He had some strings attached to him as well, to carry money or messages from the king.

The boy approached us and smiled brightly,

"Hello, welcome to Wallaker. My name is Jumoke Uarseken."

Amber looked down at the boy and chuckled and bowed down,

"It's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Amber Rose and, this is Bruno Herbert and, that's J-"

Before Amber could finish introducing everyone, Jumoke jumped in,

"Julian Fitgerald…the 6th king of the Xaya Kingdom…"

Jumoke stared at Julian like he had seen a Greek god just came into his palace. He smiled brightly. Julian looked at Jumoke with amazement. Jumoke walked closer to Julian and looked up at him,

"it was you…the priest said one day a god would appear before me…and help this kingdom to break through the darkness, that was created within so is that god you…king Julian?"
