Once he was gone, I went to Eva’s room to talk to her. She was leaving today for the college so she was sleeping like a dead body. I didn’t care. I wanted to talk to her.
I knocked on the door but knowing she was asleep I barged in because if she wasn’t asleep she would’ve been there when mum was arguing with Ryan.
“Eva, wake up.” I shook her body but she put her head under the pillow to block me out. I kept shouting until she huffed and sat up.
“What is it, Noah?” She scowled, looking at me like she wanted to murder me.
“Ryan met mother today.” I sat at the feet of the bed. Her sloppy head straightened and she was attentive just like that.
“How did it go?” She asked but judging by her expressions I knew she had an idea how it went.
“Mum forced him to break up with me and said she’d take legal actions if he didn’t leave me.” I sighed, looking down at my hands on the lap.
“I knew she’d react like this. I knew she would never accept.” She said with a concerned voice.
