A Breath for Love
Philautia is the youngest member of a wealthy Chinese family. Eversince a child, the awareness to a marriage for convenience is inked on her mind. Once she reaches the age of 21, she is expected to be engaged with the youngest member of a known clan choosen by her parents. She grew up pampering herself with the idea that only her, can give love to herself. She likes doing things that will make her feel she is important. The moment she reaches 20, she realized that the love she gave herself from the moment she learns that she’ll be into a loveless marriage isn’t enough. On the day of her engagement, she asked her parents to give her a year of freedom in exchange of lifetime prison in the presence of her arranged marriage. She cross the borders, goes south and landed on Philippine Airport. She seek for someone who will love her, thinking that a year with someone she loves will make the rest of her life lively and bearable in a loveless marriage. She thirst the love she deserves. For a year, all the love she can give, she poured it to that someone she met in the Philippines, who just like her were seeking for freedom. A Chinese national who also goes South, therefore ended up meeting her. They both fell inlove but they both knew that in China, they were both promised and bound to marry.
