It was supposed to be a chuckle, but it sounded more like an incomprehensible cackle from mutated beast. Erian laughed out loud, one revealed himself. He didn't think they would act and reveal themselves this quick and was thinking he would have to wait until the start of the Alpha operation. Luckily, one revealed him self before he canceled his shift.
While he cared little about his servants, they were still his people and injuring them was already asking to provoke him. But this wasn't the true reason he was willing to reveal himself.
After merging with the symbiote, his absorbsion to nuclear energy has soared and with the new ability he gained to Morph into a symbiote, he needed to familiarize himself with it and the best way for him to do that is through combat. Therefore, he was hoping to use some people as scape goat.
