BIGSHOT'S CULTIVATION SYSTEM

Xiao Quan transmigrated into a cultivation world as a mortal with a supernatural system named "Fallen-Angel System". Quan who had previously lived as a very successful business tycoon was a very curious and inquisitive man. And his curiosity, led him to explore this beautiful mysterious world where humans could fly on swords! "How cool!" he thought. "I want to do that too!" But, unfortunately upon enquiring, he found he didn't have any spiritual roots. Thus, he could not fly on those cool looking swords. Dejected, he left for the woods. And that was when it happened. "Ding! System has aligned with the host. First Mission: Build a house near the cursed lake! Layout Provided. Helper Bing is waiting near the lake. System Rewards: A fish and A chicken!" Xiao, who saw this was first stunned but since he knew he had no hopes of cultivating. It was better to pass life while listening to this system. And so he did. He worked tirelessly as the system rewarded him. But, what was he supposed to do with these useless rewards like fishes and pens and brushes? What he wanted to experience was far beyond that! A life at the top of the chain of the life of this world. Not like trash... Little did he know, everything in his home, from his firewood to his furniture, all of it were of materials which the Immortals could only ever fantasize about.  His backyard was overflowing with mystical  herbs and intricate flowers. From the tiny butterflies in his backyard to the fish in his pond, there seemed to be every creature from fairies to divine dragons. Not to mention his strength, which was greater than God's, which he was completely unaware of.

Chapter 3

Though, the first idea that crossed Quan's mind originally was to repel the task of the system. But, seeing the ones who had shown him kindness without asking for a character certificate of his. He couldn't help but step towards the scene, he should have been avoiding at all costs.

"Let go of her!" his voice boomed, surprising even himself. The fat man turned around, a sneer on his face as he eyed Quan up and down.

"What are you going to do about it, kid?" he taunted, tightening his grip on Inos's wrist.

The Fallen-Angel System suddenly flashed another message.

[Task Update: Use Your Fists To Fight. Shouting Doesn't Save People.]

As he read through the message, he kinda understood that he was now in a game or some sort of weird simulation like those manhwas. He clenched his fists and took a deep breath before walking towards the fat bald man in a threatening manner.

"Let go of her!" He yelled yet again as he reached for the man's arm.

The man turned to face Quan with a sneer, but didn't let go of Inos's wrist. Quan prepared to throw a punch, but suddenly a lightning bolt struck down from the sky and hit him on the head. He stumbled backward, disoriented from the shock. It was weak thus didn't cause him much damage.

"You should have known the rules, kid," the voice of the man boomed through his head as his eyes turned red with anger. "This is my village. And, everything here is mine."

With a deep breath, Quan remembered the years of martial arts training he had undergone.

As he opened his eyes, he heard the man taunt him yet again. "Wanna try again? How dare you! A kid with no Qi flowing through him, dare to go against me."

He stepped forward and swiftly kicked the man's leg, causing him to stumble and release Inos's wrist.

Taking the opportunity, Quan pushed Inos behind him and prepared himself for a fight. The man charged at him, but Quan was quick to counter his moves and soon had the upper hand.

As the man lay on the ground, groaning in pain, Quan let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

With a deep breath, Quan remembered those years of martial arts training he had undergone in his previous life. He watched the man get back to his feet rather slowly.

Taking the opportunity, Quan pushed Inos behind him and prepared himself for a fight. The man charged at him. Quan took a deep breath, dodging his punch and landing a solid blow to his gut. Quan was quick to counter his moves and soon had the upper hand.

With a series of kicks and punches, Quan struck the man's pressure points, causing him to fall to the ground in pain. Quan stood over him, ready to deliver the final blow, but he paused as a thought struck his mind for the first time.

Why did the light struck me when I first attacked him? But, why was the second time so easy?

As the man lay on the ground, defeated and groaning in pain, Quan let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

Quan couldn't believe it. He had just defeated a man who was twice his size. More like twice more fat than him with no hair.

He walked to Inos's grandmother as he helped her up and then turned to a trembling Inos, who was frozen to the ground.

"Are you okay?" Quan asked Inos as he walked up to her, extending his hand to place it on her trembling shoulder.

Inos stared at Quan in shock and awe. "How did you do that?" She asked, still trembling.

Quan shrugged. "Don't mind that. As long as you and granny are safe."

Inos slowly nodded, still processing what had just happened. "Thank you," she finally said.

Quan smiled. "No problem. Let's go inside."

Inos nodded again, as she flashed a grateful smile towards Quan before asking, "But what about him? He's the village chief's son. We can't leave him lying here before the cottage."

Quan frowned, realizing the implications of what Inos had just said. "What do you mean he's the village chief's son?" he asked, a sense of dread creeping up his spine. There was a stronger man behind this weak one. He had landed himself in great trouble after just transmigrating here.

But, though there was dread flowing through his veins he never once did regret what he had done. For it was, what was right.

Inos looked down, ashamed. "I'm sorry, I should have told you earlier. He's the son of the village chief, and he's always been a bully. He always does whatever he wants, and no one dares to stand up to him."

Quan sighed, knowing that this was going to complicate things. "Alright, let's get him inside. But we need to be careful. We don't want to cause any more trouble than we already have."

"And him?"

"Let him be here." Quan said as he went to support Inos's grandmother and all of them walked inside leaving the assultant outside, writhing in pain.

As all of them entered inside, Quan helped Inos's grandmother to sit on the chair. As he looked around the cozy cottage and couldn't help but feel a strange sense of peace.

Like he was home.

For the first time in a long while, he felt like he had a purpose in this unknown world which he was thrown into.

He may not know what the Fallen-Angel System had in store for him, but he knew that he had to keep moving forward.

He turned to Inos and smiled. "Thank you for bringing me here," he said. "I don't know what I would have done if you would have decided to leave me there on the outskirts. Whatever matter that might arise tomorrow will be solely my responsibility. You and granny don't need to concern yourself with it."

Inos smiled back at him. "No, will do," she sarcastically muttered. "You got into trouble because of me there's no way I'll stay out of it."

Quan nodded not knowing how to refute the blazing look in Inos's eyes, but at the same knowing that his actions had consequences which were not exactly beneficial.

"Let's talk about it tomorrow. I'll retire to the room for tonight." He said as he left Inos in the company of her grandmother who still hadn't recovered from the shock of the list of things that had happened.

As Quan walked into his alloted room and shut the door behind him, the green screen appeared once more.
