And So… The Chaos Became Even Bigger!

As Pochi and Tama are done with their unexpected one two combo in order to lower the SAN value of Dread, the former number 2 in the rankings, making him unable to continue the battle for the rankings any longer, the other members of the group chat are unknowingly doing the same thing.

There's just a little over forty minutes before the event comes to a close. Some players are playing safe because they are already in the rankings. Some are hunting for more kills because they wanted to retain their rankings. And some are only a few points shy of getting into it so they're getting desperate for kills.

Included in the latter group is the party of Mutsuko, Satania, and Rikka who are hunting for the head of the biggest prey amongst all of the players who joined this event, Pain.

Meanwhile, Maple, who is now at second place because of Pochi and Tama who unknowingly helped her 'remove' the competition, is on a rampage at a different side of the map. Tama, on the other hand, is catching up quickly to Maple in terms of points as she cleaned up the players who initially came for Dread's head.

On the grassy plains right outside of the forest, Chrome, the current top 9 in the rankings, is facing against a group of two who are trying to kill him for points. However, as a seasoned veteran when it comes to games, he was still calm and collected.

His blocks are on point while he would occasionally slip in some shield bashes and punches to deal damage to the opposing party. It seems like he's already used to fights so he's not even breaking a sweat while being bombarded by attacks left and right.

One of them were even going as far as to solely focus on attacking, completely abandoning his defense. It's like he's playing a hack n slash RPG game.

Surrounding this group of three are many people who are either locked in a one versus one or a battle royale where everyone are enemies. Spells, skills, arrows, and some other types of weapons flew everywhere as every player scrambled for even a bit of point that they could gain.

"C'mon man, let's just kill him already! The event's end is nearing and we can't be stuck with trying to kill him here forever!" One of the two players got impatient as attacked even more fiercely while reminding his partner about their objective.

"Alright alright."

After being urged by his impatient teammate, the latter player began unleashing all of his skills on Chrome. His comrade, in turn, also started to use his skills on Chrome as well.

From an outsider's perspective, it looks like Chrome is having a hard time and is about to lose to the two blokes at any moment. Atleast to a certain dog-eared girl, that is.

"Why are you bullying people nodesu? Kaede-oneechan said that bullying is bad, nodesuyo?"

The three players was surprised by the sudden voice that came from their left. When they looked at that direction, what they saw was a little girl of around twelve years of age who's looking at them with an innocent expression on her face.

"What's wrong with this little girl? Go back to whoever your mom is, girl. This is a battle between adults."

The impatient guy tried to shoo Pochi away but it seems like Pochi is having none of it.

"Bullies should be punished, nanodesu!"

After she said so, Pochi's body began to get covered in a golden aura while the color of her irises changed into that of crimson red.

Seeing this sudden change, even Chrome began to slightly panic. Based on his observations, this isn't your normal, run of the mill little girl.

"Oi oi, whatever you are planning to do, don't do it!"

It was already too late to stop her. Releasing one of the strongest skills that she gained from her unique series, [Unleashed], Pochi ran up to the two guys at a respectable speed.

"Oi! Sh** stop!" Chrome had a very bad feeling about this one so he tried his best to stop Pochi, even using one of his CC skills to do so.

"Haayaaa!"

Unfortunately for him, Pochi used her [Conqueror's Might] as soon as she felt that someone was trying to stop her, applying the stun and fear status effects onto even the nearby players who are just minding their own business. Now, everyone are like pigs waiting to be slaughtered.

Because she used her [Conqueror's Might], Pochi also gained spell immunity, allowing her to ignore Chrome's CC.

In no time at all, Pochi arrived at the side of the two blokes and she unleashed hell upon both of them. With lightning fast motions, Pochi attacked the two helpless blokes.

*ta… ta-ta-ta ta… ta-ta ta*

Eight successive strikes that didn't even take a split second to complete was released upon the two. After that attack of hers, she stopped.

Once she stopped, a burst of aura spread throughout the surroundings, applying a slow effect on everyone around while also dealing a massive amount of damage.

Just when everyone thought her rampage was over, Pochi jumped high up in the sky and landed on top of the two who's already beginning to turn into digital particles. However, this didn't stop Pochi from landing another eight successive strikes on them.

*ta… ta-ta-ta ta… ta ta-ta*

With another wave of slow and AoE damage, Chrome watched as his HP drop down to zero.

He didn't die from the AoE but from getting hit by three of Pochi's attacks. He was near the two so it was not surprising that he'd get hit by some attacks, given that Pochi is wielding such a huge greatsword.

"I knew I should've stopped her the moment I felt that chill…" That was the last words that came from Chrome's mouth as he 'died'.

Before disappearing, he heard Pochi say something that made him crack a wry smile.

"Ah! Why are you all sparkly as well nodesu!? Au! Pochi accidentally hit you, nanodesu! I'm really sorry, desu! Pochi didn't mean it, nanodesu!"

Eventually though, Pochi's desire for meat won over as she began chasing after the other players. Her Mutsuko-oneechan said that it's a game so it shouldn't be a problem to eliminate them all here, right?

While the players who are minding their own business on the grassy plains are dying left and right due to Pochi going on a rampage, the other locations were not better off as well.

Inside a ruined city, Shiramine Risa, with the in-game name of Sally, is busy eliminating other players left and right using her out of this world game sense and mechanical prowess. Even in a one versus many situation, Risa still came on top against these group of players.

Deep inside a forest, Tama is toying with the players as she vanished left and right while hitting them in their blind spots. Up until now, she's yet to receive any damage due to this play style of hers.

At the foot of the mountain, Maple is busy mopping out the players who are courageous enough to attack her. Even though she was practically being showered by magic attacks and physical attacks, nothing could damage the moving fortress of a player that is her.

Anonymous Spectator: I was going to say that no big changes in the top rankings should be happening but…

Anonymous Spectator: You can't say it now because big changes ARE happening as we speak.

Anonymous Spectator: It's mainly because of those girls though.

Anonymous Spectator: You mean Pochi-chan, Tama-chan, Maple-chan, Snowflake-chan, Queen-chan, and Evergreen?

Anonymous Spectator: Who else would I be referring to? These girls are the ones who's creating such a massive shift in rankings right now, after all.

Anonymous Spectator: What are you complaining about? It's a complete chaos and everybody loves seeing that!

Anonymous Spectator: I bet only Pain will remain unmoved in his top position.

Anonymous Spectator: Dude, don't jinx the guy. With how many wild cards there are in this event, I wouldn't be surprised if he suddenly dies to a magnum opus or something.

Anonymous Spectator: Agreed. Even he will not be spared. Look at Chrome. He got his ass beat by Pochi-chan who accidentally hit him with three attacks. THREE!

Let that sink in.

Anonymous Spectator: Pochi-chan's damage is absolutely terrifying.

Anonymous Spectator: It's the first time I've seen one of the top greatshielders get his ass beat in just three hits.

Anonymous Spectator: Wdym top greatshielder!? Huh!? Maple-chan is the top greatshielder now, I'm tellin' ya!

Anonymous Spectator: Bro, chill. I said one of the top, not the top.

While the spectators are busy chatting away, the last two minutes of the event came and it looked like the rankings will not move any further. Everyone in the chat thought so.

Well, that's until something unexpected happened. The player who held on the top position of the rankings for more than two hours, Pain, dropped from his top position to top three instantly.

Replacing him in the top position is Maple while coming in second was Pochi who speedran her way to the top after she found her rhythm. A few hundred points below pain is Tama who could've been at the top three spot if she didn't play around too much.

Anonymous Spectator: Pain really dropped in the rankings. The guy who said otherwise earlier, come out and apologize! You just jinxed him!

Anonymous Spectator: Wait wait wait wait! In the first place, how the hell did he die?

Anonymous Spectator: He died to an absolute art…

Anonymous Spectator: Art? The f*** are you even saying dude?
